I started using this sunscreen after finishing both Melixir Vegan Airfit Sunscreen SPF50 PA++++ and Isntree Onion Newpair Sunscreen SPF 40 PA+++, making it a good opportunity to see how it compares as an everyday sunscreen for Singapore's humid weather.

Hyaah Perfect Layering Sun Lotion comes in a 40ml squeeze tube, making it easy to dispense just the right amount of product. It has a light floral fragrance that is pleasant without being overpowering.

The sunscreen has a white, lightweight lotion texture that spreads effortlessly across the skin. According to Hyaah, its unique "skin-light" formula may occasionally feel thinner than expected. If that happens, the brand recommends shaking the tube two to three times before dispensing the product again.

Product Description

Highly effective moisturizer that penetrates deeply without leaving a sticky residue. This allows skin to breathe resulting in soft, supple, smooth skin. Perfect for rough, aging or wrinkle concerns, leaving youthful looking hands. 

I first discovered the Quinoa Hand Cream during my trip to Taiwan in 2024 while browsing an organic store. As someone with perpetually dry hands, I'm always on the lookout for a hand cream that provides long-lasting hydration, so I couldn't resist picking this one up, especially with its short ingredient list. 

One of the key ingredients, quinoa extract, has attracted attention for its skincare benefits. Laboratory studies have found that quinoa contains bioactive compounds with antioxidant properties that help reduce reactive oxygen species (ROS) and inhibit matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) which are enzymes associated with collagen breakdown caused by UV exposure and oxidative stress. 

While these findings are promising, they are based on laboratory research rather than clinical studies on hand creams. Nevertheless, quinoa remains an interesting ingredient that may help support healthier-looking skin.

Quinoa Hand Cream comes in a 60ml white squeeze tube that dispenses a lightweight, creamy formula. It spreads easily across the hands, absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue, and is fragrance-free, making it suitable for those who prefer unscented skincare products.

In terms of performance, however, the hand cream fell short of my expectations. Although it feels comfortable immediately after application, it didn't provide enough hydration for my very dry hands, especially in the dry, air-conditioned environment of my office. I found myself needing to reapply it several times throughout the day to keep my hands feeling comfortable. 

If you have normal to slightly dry hands, the lightweight texture may be sufficient, but those with very dry skin may prefer a richer, more nourishing hand cream.

As someone who wears sunscreen daily, a good cleansing oil is a staple in my skincare routine. A cleansing oil should effectively remove makeup and sunscreen while leaving the skin comfortable and balanced.

My experience with Make P:rem products has been a mixed bag. I enjoyed using Make P:rem UV Defense Me Daily Sun Essence, but Make P:rem Safe Me. Relief Moisture Cleansing Milk did not work as well for me. 

Prior to this, I was using the L:A Bruket 276 Essential Cleansing Oil, which I adored. Naturally, I was curious to see how the Make P Safe Me Relief Moisture Cleansing Oil would compare.

When I first discovered the EO Orange Squeeze Kids 3-in-1 Soap during my trip to Perth last year, I had no idea it was connected to one of my favourite personal care brands, EO. Thanks to a gifted Stylekorean collaboration which allowed me to try out Benton Guava 70 Skin Toner Face Mask Pad and brought me much happiness because this toner pad is exactly what I have been looking for. 

There was no obligation to review this product, but I enjoyed using it so much that I wanted to share my experience. In fact, I’m already feeling sad about finishing the tub soon. 

Before trying this, toner pads never really appealed to me because most options in the market focus heavily on exfoliation, which doesn’t fit into my current skincare routine. My skin was looking for moisture, comfort, and hydration instead and this guava toner pad checked every box perfectly.

Eye creams are often marketed as the secret weapon for brighter, smoother, and younger-looking eyes. With lightweight textures, luxurious packaging, and targeted ingredients like caffeine, peptides, and retinol, eye creams are designed to address the delicate skin around the eyes, an area said to show signs of fatigue and aging the fastest.

Yet despite the endless options available, eye cream remains one of the most debated skincare categories. Some swear by their holy grail formulas, while others question whether eye creams truly deliver results beyond what a regular moisturizer can do. 

Personally, eye cream has been a disappointing category for me. After trying various formulas over the years, I have yet to come across one that feels genuinely effective enough to justify the hype or price tag. While some offer temporary hydration or a smoother appearance, none have significantly improved my dark circles, puffiness, or fine lines in a lasting way. Still, that has not stopped me from remaining curious about eye creams and trying promising ones.

I purchased the Moon Haven Vanilla Lip Balm during my Perth trip and was initially drawn to its simple ingredient list and light vanilla scent. Like most lip balms, it comes in an easy twist-up tube for convenient application.

The formula feels lightweight on the lips and gives a subtle glossy finish that helps lips look smoother and healthier without feeling overly sticky.

On first application, the lip balm provides comfortable hydration and a natural sheen, making it suitable for everyday wear or minimal makeup looks. However, after repeated reapplication throughout the day in an air-conditioned office, it tends to leave behind a noticeable white layer on the lips, which can make dry patches appear more obvious for someone with very dry lips. 

One downside is that the clear outer cover that holds the lip balm in its shape makes it hard to gauge how much product is left. The lip balm still looks ‘full’ from the outside, so I only realized it was nearly empty when very little product remained.

Overall, Moon Haven Vanilla Lip Balm is a decent natural lip balm for those who prefer simple ingredients and a lightweight glossy finish. The light vanilla scent and healthy-looking shine make it enjoyable for quick hydration and daily touch-ups. However, the formula may not suit users who frequently reapply lip balm throughout the day in office, as it can leave a white residue on the lips over time. That said, it could be due to my perpetually dry lips and it may not happen to you.
