Ma:nyo Pure Cleansing Oil is a lightweight Korean cleansing oil designed to gently remove makeup, sunscreen, excess sebum and daily skin impurities without leaving the skin feeling tight or dry. With a slightly acidic, low-pH formula, this cleansing oil is designed to help maintain the skin's natural pH balance while cleansing.
Formulated with 14 plant-based oils, including nourishing argan oil and stone bean oil, the cleansing oil has a silky texture that spreads easily over the skin. When mixed with water, it emulsifies into a milky texture, helping to lift away makeup, sunscreen and excess oil before rinsing clean.

Packaging, Scent and Texture
Ma:nyo Pure Cleansing Oil comes in a 200ml bottle with a pump dispenser, complete with a clear protective cap. The pump makes it convenient to dispense the cleansing oil without having to handle the bottle too much during my skincare routine.
Cear in colour, it has an uplifting citrus scent, which made the cleansing step feel quite refreshing. If you enjoy a lightly scented cleansing oil, the citrusy aroma adds a pleasant touch to the experience.
The cleansing oil has a thicker, rich texture compared with some of the lighter cleansing oils I have tried. It spreads easily over the skin and emulsifies with water, turning into a milky texture that helps lift away makeup, sunscreen and excess sebum before rinsing off.
How To Use :
1) Pump the oil into your hand using the pipette and apply it to the dry skin with light massage movements.
2) Moisten hands with water and continue to massage until mixture becomes milky color and will not dissolve all the makeup.
3) Rinse off with warm water, further clean the face with cleanser
Performance and Ingredients
Ma:nyo Pure Cleansing Oil is formulated with a blend of 14 plant-based oils, along with nourishing ingredients including amino acids, fatty acids and vitamins. The oil-based formula is designed to dissolve oil-soluble impurities, making it suitable as the first step of a double-cleansing routine.
What I particularly enjoy about this Korean cleansing oil is how thoroughly it cleanses without leaving my skin feeling tight or stripped. After rinsing, my skin feels clean, soft and smooth, while my pores are smaller, cleaner and look temporarily clearer.
I usually use it whenever I worn sunscreen or makeup. On most days, my makeup is relatively light (usually tinted sunscreen, loose powder and eyebrow pencil) and Manyo Pure Cleansing Oil does a good job of breaking everything down and removing it.
I follow it with my regular cleansing milk (I only use milk cleansers as a cleanser due to my finicky skin type) as the second step of my double cleanse, especially when I have been wearing sunscreen throughout the day. I like this combination because the cleansing oil takes care of the sunscreen, makeup and excess sebum, while my second cleanser helps to clear any residue, if any.
Despite its rich texture, I find that it rinses off well without leaving any greasy film. Most importantly, my skin doesn't feel dry or uncomfortable afterwards, which is something I look for in a cleansing oil.

To conclude, Ma:nyo Pure Cleansing Oil effectively breaks down my daily sunscreen and light makeup while still leaving my skin feeling
The richer texture may not be everyone's preference, especially if you prefer very lightweight cleansing oils, but I personally enjoy how easily it spreads and emulsifies with water.
This is only my 2nd product from Ma:nyo, after a relatively positive experience from emptying Manyo Galactomy Niacin 2.0 Essence
