Formulated with 90% sea kelp extract sustainably sourced from the clean waters of Wando, Korea, this essence is a powerhouse of marine nourishment. Certified by the Korean FDA for its efficacy in improving pore clarity, density, transparency, and skin elasticity, it delivers visible skin improvements through tested results.
I received a set of Hyaah products as part of a Stylekorean collaboration. They were Mild But Deep Cleansing Water, Licorice First Essence, All In One Ectoin Lotion on top of this Synergy Mask Pad.
Hyaah, pronounced as Hee:YA is a Korean skincare brand which is said to consist of good ingredients, honest processing and continuous research.
As a skincare content creator, I believe in being selective with my collaborations — only those that genuinely align with my skin type, values, and what I feel will truly benefit my skin. This intentional approach not only helps me maintain integrity, but also allows me to create more thoughtful and meaningful content that you can trust.
Stylekorean x Hyaah invited me for a collaboration which I accepted because I need gentle, non-greasy and hydrating products in this humid climate like Singapore, for my combination-dehydrated skin type. Glad that their products do not disappoint, despite being my first foray into the brand.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
The Hyaah Synergy Mask Pad comes in a generously sized round pad that fits perfectly over my cherubic cheeks. Housed in a convenient tub of 60 pads, each piece is neatly stacked and easy to pick up with a simple pinch. I appreciate that there’s no noticeable fragrance — great for those with sensitive skin or a preference for scent-free products.
How To Use :
1) Take out three synergy packs and apply them to both cheeks and forehead.
2) Fold the previously applied pack into a crescent shape and place it on another area that feels dry for 5 minutes.
3) Remove the applied pack and gently fold it.
4) Pat the dry areas where the eyes or pack did not touch, allowing it to absorb by gently tapping for 30 seconds in each corner.
Performance and Ingredients
Infused with rich oceanic nutrients, the essence helps to purify, calm, and revitalize tired or irritated skin while targeting common concerns like pigmentation, redness, and dehydration. Its unique formulation provides long-lasting hydration without any sticky residue, especially when applied with a thick cotton pad for deeper penetration.
What stood out to me was the pad’s ultra-soft, thick and sturdy material, which hugged the skin nicely and gave a slight tightening sensation upon application. After use, my skin felt refreshed and soothed with smaller pores. However, I did find it lacking in hydration — it’s more of a quick pick-me-up than a deeply nourishing treatment. A decent option if you're looking for a lightweight, no-fuss mask pad to perk up the skin.
Hyaah Synergy Mask Pad is versatile - other than using on the cheeks and forehead, you can also use it on the undereye area and on the laugh lines.
I prefer to use it as a toner pad mask, layering them on the cheeks and forehead for 10 minutes, then fold in half for the undereye area for another 10 minutes before swiping all over the face like a toner.
Do note that the PAO (period after opening) is 3 months.

Conclusion
To conclude, Hyaah Synergy Mask Pad offers a refreshing, fuss-free experience with its soft, skin-hugging material and generous size. While it delivers a light tightening effect and a cooling sensation, it may fall short for those seeking intense hydration. If you're looking for a daily pick-me-up or a gentle prep step before makeup, this could be a convenient addition to your routine — just don’t count on it as your main source of moisture.
