The Inkey List Peptide Volumizing Hair Treatment Review

Product Description
Bringing the nourishing properties of peptides to your hair, the Peptide Volumising Hair Treatment is a lightweight serum helping you achieve a more lustrous-looking mane.

Thought of as the building blocks of collagen, keratin and elastin, peptides are short chains of amino acids that support your hair's proteins, improving its texture, strength and resilience. Designed for locks that need more body and thickness, this concoction is powered by 2% keranutri (a type of peptide that increases shine) and 2% ACB pisum sativum (another peptide that boosts hair volume and hydration) and 1% betaine, (another peptide that conditions your locks to leave them looking soft and healthy). The result? Swishy, shiny strands that'll have you gasping in sheer delight!

When it comes to achieving fuller, thicker-looking hair, a good volumizing product can make all the difference. Whether your hair naturally lacks body or tends to fall flat throughout the day, volumizing treatments help lift the roots, add density, and create the appearance of healthier, more abundant strands.

I purchased The Inkey List Peptide Volumizing Hair Treatment during a Sephora sale, after emptying Fable & Mane HoliRoots Hair Oil in a bid to reduce hair loss and was curious to see if this peptide-based formula could bring visible volume and strength to my flatter hair crown.

Packaging, Scent and Texture

The Inkey List Peptide Volumizing Hair Treatment comes in a 30ml tube with a flick-top cap that makes it easy to dispense the product. The yellow, runny formula spreads easily but can leave a bit of residue pooling around the opening. Once dried, it has a slightly sticky finish. The scent is light and unobtrusive, making it suitable even for those sensitive to fragrance.

How To Use:
1) Use as a post wash treatment.
2) Shake bottle first, then pour onto the palm of your hand and work through wet or dry hair.
3) Apply enough product to thinly coat all of your hair.
4) Leave on and style as usual.

Performance and Ingredients

Formulated with 2% Keranutri™ and 2% ACB Pisum Sativum Peptide, The Inkey List Peptide Volumizing Hair Treatment is designed to work within the hair cuticle to plump the cortex and increase the diameter of each strand for a fuller, more voluminous look. It also contains Betaine, a conditioning ingredient that helps keep hair soft and manageable without weighing it down.

In my experience, this treatment worked moderately well as on some days, it noticeably lifted my crown area and made my hair appear slightly fuller. The lightweight texture absorbs quickly into my clean, dry hair without leaving any greasy or sticky residue, which makes it ideal for busy mornings.

I usually apply it right before heading out for work, and it gives my hair a touch of bounce without feeling heavy.

Aqua (Water/Eau), Pisum Sativum (Pea) Peptide, Betaine, Glycerin, Panthenol, Phenoxyethanol, Heptyl Glucoside, Polyquaternium-37, Citronellyl Methylcrotonate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Ceratonia Siliqua (Carob) Seed Extract, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Hydroxide, Polyquaternium-16, Heptanol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Polyquaternium-7

Conclusion

To conclude, The Inkey List Peptide Volumizing Hair Treatment is a lightweight, easy-to-use option for those looking to add a subtle boost of volume without the heaviness of traditional styling products although it doesn't work every time on me.

While the results aren’t dramatic, it does help lift the roots and give fine hair a slightly fuller appearance occasionally. I appreciate that it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any greasy residue, making it convenient for daily use.
