After emptying Mary & May Tranexamic Acid + Glutathione Eye Cream, it was time to start using Filorga Intensive Revitalizing 3-in-1 Eye Contour Cream. 

It was my first foray into Filorga, a French skincare brand known for merging aesthetic medicine with advanced skincare science. Originally developed by a doctor specializing in anti-aging injectables, Filorga brings clinic-inspired formulas into everyday routines—infused with potent actives like hyaluronic acid, NCEF complex, peptides, and antioxidants.

In this post, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on their eye cream—read on to find out how it performed.

After emptying Dermatory Retinal Eye Patch and Goodal Green Tangerine Vita-C Eye Gel Patch, it is time to try out AHC Premium Hydra Gold Foil Eye Mask which I purchased during my last Korea trip. 

Cosmeceutical brand A.H.C (Aesthetics Hydration Cosmetics) was launched in 1999 by Carver Korea Ltd. and is the sister brand to Korean cosmetics labels Shara Shara, VIVITO, and Dr. MJ. Using only natural plant-based ingredients, A.H.C transforms skin to its optimum condition from deep within through a holistic range of hydrating skincare products. The luxury brand offers targeted solutions for aging, dryness, blemishes and discoloration that can be applied to sensitive, oily and trouble-prone skin. 

This is my first foray into the brand, despite hearing so much about its cult eye cream. 

Packaging, Scent and Texture

AHC Premium Hydra Gold Foil Eye Mask comes in a box of 5 individually packed eye masks. Each packed eye mask is enveloped within a clear plastic packaging. The fabric-like material is thin and comfortable, leaving a refreshing sensation upon layering on the undereye area. There is a light fragrance. 

How To Use: 

1) After cleansing and toning, apply the mask to the eye area for 15-20 minutes. 

2) Remove the mask and gently pat the essence in to absorb. 

3) Continue with your routine.

Performance and Ingredients

Cruelty-free and free of parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, and synthetic fragrance. AHC Premium Hydra Gold Foil Eye Mask is suitable for morning and express care as it quickly tones the skin, smoothens it, refreshes and improves its condition, eliminating traces of fatigue and stress.

The delicate fabric base of the mask consists of three layers that perfectly allow air to pass through and effectively transport the active ingredients of the essence to the epidermis. The mask fits tightly to the skin and does not leave a sticky film after use.

Shaped like a cat-eye, this 24-karat gold fabric-like material is thin and soft, leaving a comfortable and refreshing sensation upon layering on the eye area. The generous size meant it can cover both the upper and lower eye area.

I usually prefer to layer it for up to an hour before removing the eye mask. It left my eye area looking more rested and less tired. 

The key ingredients are...

I purchased a box of Goodal Green Tangerine Vita-C Eye Gel Patch during my trip to Seoul, Korea last May. This is my last set, after emptying JM Solution Marine Luminous Pearl Deep Moisture Eye Patch and Dermatory Retinal Eye patch. 

Combining the words "good" and "all" for its brand name, Goodal offers skin care designed to be good for all skin types. The brand's range of products blends innovation with traditional Korean fermentation while avoiding harmful chemicals to bring out the skin's vitality. Goodal is a sister brand of CLIO.

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Goodal Green Tangerine Vita-C Eye Gel Patch comes in a round bright yellow container with an inner lid and a spatula where the 60 hydrogel patches are stacked upon one another. 

It has an uplifting citrus scent which makes them perfect for morning use. 

How To Use : 

Place 1 pair of gel onto clean, dry under eye area for 5 minutes ( or longer if desired). Discard after use and massage remaining serum into skin.

Performance and Ingredients

These bright yellow hydrogel eye patches have a gooey texture that adheres well and deliver a refreshing, cooling feel under the eyes. I experienced a slight sting on first use, but it was smooth sailing after that. 

Infused with Jeju green tangerine extract rich in vitamin C, they aim to brighten and energize tired skin. The patches noticeably thin out after 15 minutes, showing good absorption. Tip: pop them in the fridge for an extra depuffing boost in the morning!

Its patented hydrogel sheet is infused with the active ingredients of Green Tangerine Vita C Spot Care Serum in hardened gel *Patent no. KP-11976770DOO (Hydrogel mask pack and preparation method thereof).

I purchased Dermatory Retinal Eye patch during my last trip in Korea in May 2024. I usually like to use eye masks 2 weeks to 1 month prior to an upcoming event, to keep my peepers looking less tired-looking. My last 2 emptied eye masks were Bring Green Toning Vita Brightening Eye Patch and JM Solution Marine Luminous Pearl Deep Moisture Eye Patch.

This is my first foray into Dermatory which I have not heard before my trip to Seoul, Korea. 

Korean beauty brand DERMATORY specifically caters to allergy-prone and sensitive skin types. All DERMATORY products are made in Korea and are formulated without harmful ingredients like talc, sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrances and sorbic acid. DERMATORY is a sister brand of CLIO and peripera. 

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Dermatory Retinal Eye Patch comes in a round tub with 30 pairs of hydrogel patches, stacked upon each other and a spatula is enclosed for easy pick-up. It has a subtle plastic fragrance. 

How to use:

1. After cleansing, place the eye patches on under eye areas.

2. Remove the mask after 10 minutes, dab the remaining essence to absorb.

Performance and Ingredients

The Dermatory Retinal Eye Patch is a thick hydrogel patch soaked in a firming ampoule. Upon application, it delivers a cooling and refreshing sensation—perfect for tired eyes after a long workday or before a special event when you need a quick pick-me-up.

These eye patches are designed with special curves to enhance adherence around the delicate eye area. However, because they are very saturated with essence, I found that they tend to slip easily—especially when applied on slightly damp skin.

I often had to readjust them multiple times during use, which can be slightly inconvenient if you're multitasking so it is recommended to lie down while using these patches. These hydrogel patches get thinner after absorption.

Although marketed primarily for the undereye area, these patches can also be applied to:

• Forehead for expression lines
• Smile lines around the mouth
• Neck to target crepey texture

Personally, I’ve kept them focused on the eye area, since that’s where I experience the most visible fatigue and fine lines.

At the heart of this product is retinal—a powerful yet stable vitamin A derivative known to stimulate collagen production and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

These eye patches are also enriched with:

• Hydrolyzed Collagen – Helps to plump and smooth fine lines
• Bakuchiol – A gentle plant-based alternative to retinol that boosts firmness
• Volufiline – A popular Korean skincare ingredient known to visibly plump and volumize skin

Together, this blend targets under-eye aging, fatigue, and loss of elasticity, making this patch a multi-functional treatment for anyone concerned with eye area aging.

That said, despite emptying the whole tub of 30 pairs of eye patches across 1.5 months, I haven't seen any visible difference on my eye area.

To conclude, Dermatory Retinal Eye Patch may be a great addition to any K-beauty anti-aging skincare routine, especially for those dealing with puffiness, fine lines, and tired eyes, based on the touted ingredients. If you're seeking an eye patch with retinal, bakuchiol, and collagen, this is a solid option to try. 

However, Dermatory Retinal Eye Patch is not for me, as I didn't experience any visible difference other than the refreshing sensation but what don't work for me may just work well for you.

I first tried out Be The Skin Sebum Zero Aloerice Sun Cream last year and glad to have a chance to try their eye cream this year. 

Despite what others may say, I feel that eye creams are important for maintaining the health and appearance of the delicate skin around the eyes, as the skin around the eyes is thinner and more delicate than the rest of the face, making it more susceptible to damage and showing signs of aging.

A good and effective eye cream with the right ingredients offers targeted hydration, anti-aging benefits, and protection from environmental damage.

[ Review ] Tocobo Collagen Brightening Eye Gel Cream

 

Product Description

Reverse signs of aging around the eye area with Tocobo Collagen Brightening Eye Gel Cream enriched with 81% lavender flower water. It’s infused with retinol and 1,000ppm of plant-based collagen to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, as well as 1,000ppm of panthenol to replenish moisture in skin.

Thanks to a Stylekorean collaboration which has given me a chance to try out another Tocobo product, after emptying Tocobo Bio Watery Sun Cream SPF50+ PA++++ and Tocobo Cotton Soft Sun Stick. 

I don't have much luck with eye creams in general but I will still continue to use them, as my undereye area really do deserve some tender loving care.

Tocobo Collagen Brightening Eye Gel Cream is packaged in a charming pink and purple clear tube with 30ml contents that can be dispensed easily via the solid nozzle dispenser. It has one of the lightest texture I have ever tried, with a strong lavender fragrance and a hint of tackiness as well as some sparkles in it.

Product Description

I received a set of eye creams as part of a Stylekorean Try Me Review Me campaign mid last year and Heimish Marine Care Eye Cream was one of my favourites during the testing period. Unfortunately, I realized it didn't suit me with longer term use. Let delve down why.

It was a chance for me to try my first Bakuchiol Eye Cream and I am beyond excited. 

[ Review ] Faith in Face Eye Am Not Tired

 

Product Description

Faith in Face Eye Am Not Tired Multi-function eye masks that help soothe, moisturize, reduce under-eye circles, puffiness, wrinkles and fine lines. 

I chanced upon this box of eye masks when I was in Watsons at Midvalley Southkey, JB Malaysia and purchased them immediately since I didn't notice these in Singapore. Thought it would be a good time for use before Chinese New Year. 

Established in 2009 by five cosmetic experts from Korea, Canada and the U.K., Faith in Face boldly asserts that it's here to "save your face." Rather than promising to change one's face or touting a miracle cure, Faith in Face focuses on bringing out the hidden individual beauty of each woman with its high-quality cosmetics and masks. Faith in Face seeks a balance between natural and chemical ingredients, and offers beauty-enhancing products at affordable price points. The retro-inspired packaging echoes the brand's back-to-basics approach. 

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Faith in Face Eye Am Not Tired comes in a box with 4 individually packed aluminum foil sheets. Once you tear open the aluminum foil sheet, there is a plastic clam shell containing a pair of crescent moon shaped eye patches. 

The eye patches have a subtle broccoli scent and the hydrogel eye masks adhere pretty on my undereye area without much slippage.

How To Use :

1. After cleansing, wipe off skin with toner.

2. Remove the film of the patch and attach to eye area.

3. Remove the patch after 30 minutes, and tap the remaining essence for absorption.

Performance and Ingredients

Said to provide brightening and firming care to tired skin around eyes with flax seed extract, broccoli extract, walnut extract, Faith in Face Eye Am Not Tired are made of hydrogels which are easy to use on the undereye area. 

These hydrogels are soft and almost sponge-y with a cooling and refreshing sensation.They adhered very well and do not slip even after an hour, however, I can feel the "tight" adhesion on skin although it wasn't uncomfortable. These patches got thinner after usage. 

After 30 minutes to 1 hour of usage, my overall eye area looked more refreshed and less tired-looking, however the results were not consistent.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Faith in Face Eye Am Not Tired adhered well without slipping and my overall eye area looked more refreshed and less tired-looking after use, however the results were not consistent.

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Dear Klairs Fundamental Eye Awakening Gel is housed in a 35ml clear bottle with a press-down dispenser. Clear in colour with a refreshing lightweight gel texture, it has a subtle tackiness and takes about 5-10 minutes before it absorbed into skin. There was no fragrance detected but has a naturally occurring scent.
