Aiming to provide skincare for those that lead an active lifestyle, their products are suitable for all skin types. This product is vegan and also free from harmful ingredients and synthetics such as alcohol, sulphate, phthalate, and artificial dyes.

I have previously reviewed Solyph Keep Calm Meditate Sheet Mask which was a complimentary gift with my purchase of Face The Wild Sun Shield Cream. Being a fan of mineral sunscreens, I didn't hesitate to try this out but unfortunately, this isn't the one for my skin type and it also turned out not a mineral sunscreen after all.

Benton Mineral Sun Stick SPF50 PA++++ is a tiny 15g product in a rounded stick format where you can just twist the dial at the bottom in order to push up the sun stick balm for use. White in colour, the sun stick has no scent, and the smooth silicone texture glides well on skin.

While searching for a hair strengthening shampoo, I chanced upon this on Iherb ( Use my code OKI787 for a further 5% off your order ) where it claims to be formulated for stronger, healthier hair and added to my shopping cart.

Alba Botanica Repair & Refresh Shampoo comes in a 355ml yellow plastic bottle with a flick cap. The clear gel-like contents lathers well with a ocean-like scent that smells light and refreshing. 

How To Use :

Wet hair, lather, rinse and follow with Alba Botanica® Repair & Refresh Ocean Surf Conditioner. 

Performance and Ingredients

Made in USA, Alba Botanica Repair & Refresh Shampoo contains 100% vegetarian ingredients with a biodegradable formula. It is pH balanced with no animal testing, sulfates, artificial colors or synthetic fragrances, parabens or phthalates and petrolatum.

Unfortunately, despite being able to lather well with suds, the shampoo is difficult to use. It made my hair dry and caused hair fall. I tried adding hair conditioner or hair mask before or after shampoo-ing, and while it does made my hair softer so that the shampoo was easier to cleanse the hair, I still experience hair fall. Not a pleasant experience. 

I took a few months' break from the product and returned back to using it recently, but the same issue still occurred so this is just not for my hair type. 

According to Iherb, the product has been discontinued.

To conclude, I am disappointed with Alba Botanica Repair & Refresh Shampoo which made my hair brittle, dry and caused hair fall.

I received several Geek & Gorgeous products from Worthee Cosmetics namely Stress Less, A-Game, B-Bomb, Calm Down and aPAD. It was a brand which I have been wanting to try but it was not easily available where I am so I am excited that Worthee Cosmetics carry them in their online store. 

Hailing from Hungary, Geek & Gorgeous refers to geek formulas for gorgeous skin as the brand is said to maximize what is good for the skin and minimize everything else. Most of their products are Malassezia-safe, vegan and 100% cruelty-free. Belli Pure and Pampered Body Wash is a 191ml tube with clear gel contents. It has a subtle scent filled with a mixture of cucumber, green tea, chamomile and lavender. 

How To Use :

Apply as much or as little by squeezing product into your hand or on a loofah or body brush. using circular motion apply to your body to cleanse the top layer of skin and rinse.

Performance and Ingredients

The gel textured Belli Pure and Pampered Body Wash is mild and gentle with light lathering suds. It uses a plant-derived carbohydrate complex which is known for its excellent ability to bind to skin and its light, quick-absorbing texture delivers long-lasting and deep hydration.

If you have sensitive skin, then this body wash might be a great fit for you, however, if you are looking for a sensorial luxurious body wash, this might not fit the bill. 

Using Pure and Pampered Body Wash always left my body clean and soft and I also like that this is pregnancy-safe too. However, it gets drying after some time. 

The key ingredients are....

Cucumber : Promotes skin hydration to combat over-drying and keeping skin supple.

Green Tea : A powerful antibacterial and anti-inflammatory to unclog pores, reduce skin irritation, skin redness, and swelling.

Chamomile : Anti-inflammatory and hypoallergenic helps to soothe skin and stop free radicals.

Lavender : Soothes and calms skin while reducing redness.

Citrus : Boosts collagen synthesis, brightening skin tone, and evening out complexion by diminishing and preventing hyperpigmentation.

I received a box of 5 individually packed Ellure Tomato Resonance Graphene Bubble Masks from a good friend as she is a Wou Wou member. This is my 3rd bubble mask after trying out Samanli Black Bubble Mask and Purederm Deep Purifying Black O2 Bubble Mask ( Charcoal ).

Ellure Tomato Resonance Graphene Bubble Mask comes in a box of 5 individually packed sheet masks. When I first pulled it out from its packaging, I noticed loads of clear bubbles on the sheet mask.

Black in colour, it has no scent and the soft material adhered comfortably on the skin as it bubbled up slowly with subtle sizzling noise. The soft material, graphene has a strong absorption capacity, is environmental friendly, soft, breathable and comfortable fitting on the skin. 

That said, the cutouts were small and cut close to the eyes and mouth, while there was excess material at the jaws' area.

[ Review ] Derma E Sun Protection Mineral Powder SPF 30

Enriched with Green Tea to help deliver vital antioxidants while Chamomile Flower Extract helps to soothe skin and Vitamin E contains antioxidants properties.

It has been 10 years since I last tried a Derma E product and I am so glad to snag the last Derma E Sun Protection Mineral Powder before it discontinued. I may have repurchase this product, if not for its poor packaging. My last sunscreen powder was Peter Thomas Roth Instant Mineral SPF 45.

Made in USA, Derma E is a clean beauty brand which is dermatologist recommended and sustainably minded to skin healthy, well-being and the natural environment.

Derma E Sun Protection Mineral Powder is a 4g powder housed in a convenient brush applicator that is supposed to be travel-friendly but isn't so. Once you pulled off the cap, it is difficult to close it back again and you have to be careful whilst tucking in all the bristles to ensure they are all within the cap. 

The cap also cracked after a few uses and once it cracked, it dropped off easily so it can be pretty annoying. 

[ Review ] Soultree Wild Aamla & Hydrating Aloe Shower Gel

Soultree Wild Aamla & Hydrating Aloe Shower Gel is housed in a 250ml brown tinted bottle with a pump dispenser. It has a lovely scent and I usually pump 6 times of golden gel contents for the whole body. 

How To Use :

1) Squeeze desired amount on your palm or a loofah

2) Lather up and apply all over your body, rinse thoroughly and follow it up with a gentle moisturiser or body oil

Performance and Ingredients

I enjoyed using Soultree Wild Aamla & Hydrating Aloe Shower Gel initially, as it smells great and lathers well but unfortunately, 60% down, it started to feel drying on my skin. 

This shower gel does not contain Paraben, Silicones, Lead, DEA/TEA, Phtalates, SLS/SLES, Mineral Oil, Petrolatum and Synthetic Fragrance.

To conclude, Soultree Wild Aamla & Hydrating Aloe Shower Gel was a lovely body wash initially with its soothing scent and nice lathering but soon gave way to a drying feel on the body hence it won't be a repurchase.
