Facial mist has become a staple in my skincare routine because it’s incredibly convenient and refreshing especially as a toner alternative. Instead of using a traditional toner, I love misting my face right after cleansing and before applying serum to boost hydration instantly. 

Previously, I was using the Klairs Daily Skin Hydrating Water, which I decanted into a spray bottle to create my own hydrating facial mist for daily use. Before this Hydrating Water, I was using L'Occitane Rose Multipurpose Fresh Mist.

I just emptied Dermalogica Invisible Physical Defense SPF 30 and Dermalogica Skin Perfect Primer SPF30 not too long ago and decided to try this sample sized Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Firm Eye Cream which I received from my regular facial salon.

If you’re starting to notice fine lines, puffiness, or that lingering tired look around your eyes, you’re not alone. The eye area is one of the first places to show signs of aging mainly because the skin here is thinner, more delicate, and more prone to dehydration. That’s where a good eye cream becomes essential.

In the world of skincare, eye creams play a targeted role: they deliver concentrated ingredients to help smooth wrinkles, brighten dark circles, reduce puffiness, and maintain firmness. Whether you’re in your late 20s and looking to delay early signs of aging, or dealing with more visible concerns like crow’s feet and loss of elasticity, using an eye cream can make a noticeable difference.

Unfortunately, I don't have much luck in eye creams but lets delve down to see if this Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Firm Eye Cream might be the one you need, after all, what don't work for me, might just work for you.

Physical sunscreens, also known as mineral sunscreens have become a go-to choice for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin. Unlike chemical sunscreens that absorb UV rays, physical sunscreens work by forming a protective barrier on the skin’s surface that reflects and scatters harmful UVA and UVB rays.

Formulated with minerals like Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide, physical sunscreens are often praised for being gentle, non-irritating, and effective immediately upon application although they have a dreary white cast.

I decided to redeem the Dermalogica Invisible Physical Defense SPF 30 using my credit voucher after signing up for a facial package at AsterSpring. Having recently finished both the Dermalogica Circular Hydration Serum and Dermalogica Skin Perfect Primer SPF 30, I was curious to see how this sunscreen would perform alongside my other physical/mineral sunscreens. 

I always keep a physical sunscreen in my arsenal especially for morning exercises or long walks under the sun. My recent go-to physical sunscreens were the Foretderm Derma Relief Vegan Suncream and Klairs All-day Airy Mineral Sunscreen, both of which I’ve already emptied.

[ Review ] Dermalogica Skinperfect Primer SPF 30

Dermalogica Skin Perfect Primer SPF30 is a 3 in 1 that primes the skin for makeup, protect it from sun damage and treats skin aging. It has a silky feel that goes on easily onto the skin for a smooth texture. Skin Perfect Primer SPF30 is great for all skin types.

Natural earth minerals and pearl powder provides a light tint that evens out skin tone for light coverage. SPF sun block protects skin against damage while soy protein helps to smoothen skin texture. It keeps skin looking matte and provides an excellent base for blending. Wear under makeup for a smoother and lasting look.

Always a fan of tinted products for that no makeup makeup look so I just couldn't resist trying out Dermalogica Skinperfect Primer SPF 30. I first tried it when my beauty therapist from Asterspring used it on me, after my facial and subsequently redeemed this product from my facial packaging credits when I emptied Colorescience Sunforgettable Total Protection Face Shield Classic SPF50 PA++++.

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Dermalogica Skinperfect Primer SPF 30 is a tiny 22ml product but it still lasted me for quite awhile as alittle goes a long way. It has a velvety silicone-y texture with a hint of lavender scent.

There were some credits that came with my facial package purchase and one of the products which were recommended to me, was Dermalogica Circular Hydration Serum. Of course, I am happy to try more products from Dermalogica as my recent favourites were Dermalogica Precleanse and Dermalogica Micellar Prebiotic Precleanse.

Dermalogica Circular Hydration Serum comes in a 30ml dropper bottle. Clear in colour, it has a slightly oily texture which I am not a fan of. Looking at the list of ingredients, there are several oils in it, which explains the oily texture. It has a calming citrus scent.

A 75ml Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque costs $95 in AsterSpring salons, which was rather expensive in my opinion. I received a $100 voucher when I signed up for a facial package and I used it to redeem this mask as I didn't want to top up extra. 

I used to be a big fan of Dermalogica products, especially the Ultra-Calming range for 6 long years back in 2009 but after various formulation changes along the years, their products were no longer a good fit for me and I broke up with them. 

However, my sister is still a big fan of their products and I was the one who recommended it to her. Her favourite product is Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream which she has been using for the past 8-9 years. 

For me, the 2 outstanding products are Dermalogica Precleanse and Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque which I love dearly but I no longer see a need to stick with them for life now.

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque comes in a 75ml tube with a flick top cap that dispenses the silky cream lotion-like contents with an emollient and silicone-y texture and a unique scent.

How To Use : 

1) Apply a smooth film to clean face and throat. 

2) Allow masque to absorb for 7 to 10 minutes. 

3) Rinse with tepid water or remove with The Sponge Cloth. 

Tip : Use once or twice a week as prescribed.

Performance 

Made in USA, Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque is formulated without artificial fragrances or colours and is also gluten-free, paraben-free, cruelty-free and vegan. It lasted me for about 3 months with twice daily usage. I tend to use hydrating mask quite generously due to my dehydrated skin concerns so it might last you for more than 3 months if you use it sparingly. 

I didn't have high hopes for this as the previous version of Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque did not fare too well for me too. Unlike the previous version, I was told ( by the facial salon ) that this new version cannot be used on the undereye area, hence I kept it strictly for the face only. However, Amazon claimed that it can be used as an eye masque. 

Creamy but lightweight in consistency, the masque is recommended for up to 15 minute usage stated on the tube, but on the website, its written that up to 10 minutes is recommended. On my skin, the masque was absorbed within 10 minutes , leaving a greasy shine in its place and its time to rinse off. 

Because of the thin film it left behind after rinsing off, I prefer to use a muslin cloth for a more thorough cleanse as the last "wipe". Skin is slightly hydrated. 

I also tried using the masque on dry flaky areas on my face and while the patches were gone immediately after masking, it reappeared after I am done with my whole skincare routine. I would only peg the mask as more suitable for optimal skin condition or for those with mildly dehydrated and dry skin as the hydration capability is insufficient for dehydrated and dry skin.

In terms of ingredients, Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque contains unique cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid which traps moisture to deliver time-released hydration for lasting suppleness. Lycopene-rich Tomato Seed lipids help restore skin’s protective barrier, enhancing moisture levels for healthier-looking, smoother skin.

Conclusion

To conclude, Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque is a decent hydrating mask for those with optimal skin condition or those with mildly dry and dehydrated skin but not for those with dry and dehydrated condition.

Review : Dermalogica Super Sensitive Shield SPF 30

I have not been using Dermalogica products for a long while, after they tweaked the formulae of their sensitive range. It did not resonate well with my skin so I stopped using it completely. Dermalogica used to be my top favourite brand and I rave highly of them but unfortunately, the more they change their formula, the more disappointed I am, with their products. The same, goes for Dermalogica Super Sensitive Shield SPF 30 which has replaced my favouite Super Sensitive Faceblock SPF30.

I signed up with Aster Spring ( previously known as Leonard Drake ) recently and received a $120 voucher to redeem a product. I chose Dermalogica Super Sensitive Shield SPF 30 after using up Dr. GL Sun Protection SPF 30 and was looking for a sunscreen product then.

Dermalogica Super Sensitive Shield SPF 30 can also be used as a daily moisturiser but I use it strictly as a sunscreen after my moisturiser. The contents are kept in a slightly soft pliable bottle which can be depressed slightly, but there is hardly a need to do so, since the white milky fluid ooze out easily from the tiny opening.

Containing both Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide, Dermalogica Super Sensitive Shield SPF 30 provides broad-spectrum protection which is essential in our humid Singapore. The sunscreen fluid applies effortlessly but is sticky on skin making it tacky under the weather. I totally dislike any sunscreen with sticky texture because I end up with sticky hands and face and the tackiness continued until you wash it off. 

The previous formula, Super Sensitive Faceblock SPF30 is never tacky so I am sorely disappointed that this does. However, if you look past the stickiness, Super Sensitive Shield SPF 30 is actually pretty easy to spread around on skin and is formulated without artificial fragrances and colours.

There is a slight sheen on the surface of skin, with a light white cast as well but is a minor issue, after I add on my usual BB cream and loose powder.

Looking at the ingredients, it contains several fragrant oils though I wonder why they are there, for a sunscreen product. Hence, it may not be suitable for those with sensitive and reactive skin.

The 30ml size retails for $110 in Aster Spring branches but you can make use of the occasional promotion that they have from time to time.

Review : Dermalogica UltraCalming Redness Relief Primer SPF20

I have not been using Dermalogica products for awhile, straying to other brands as none caught my eye. However, when I recently signed up a new facial package with Aster Spring ( I have been with Posh Wellness for the last 4~5 years ), I was given some samples to try out and that marks my return to trying out some of their new products.

They are very strict in giving out samples nowadays, even with their own customers which was a far cry from their old policy where anyone can step in to get some samples for trial. Only 1 miserable sachet of each product is provided each time, which is totally off-putting. I can easily request for samples with my purchases when I ordered Dermalogica products online, from USA. Cheaper and with efficient service too.

After my recent facial, I requested for a sample sachet of the Dermalogica UltraCalming Redness Relief Primer SPF20, hoping that it can counteract the redness at the wings of my nose, caused by broken capillaries and an on-off flu.

My sole purpose is to use it as a redness-reducing treatment which doesn't seem to work on my broken capillaries immediately, however, I have noticed that the redness has calmed down considerably ( note: minimized but did not disappear ) and is much less obvious after almost 30 minutes of wearing it beneath my VMV Hypoallergenics Skintangible "Faint"ation BBBB Cream and RMS Beauty "Un"Powder. Note that both the BB Cream and the loose powder I use does not have much concealing power on their own so I can only contribute it to the Dermalogica UltraCalming Redness Relief Primer SPF20.

On eczema flare up days ( redness near the brows ), the UltraCalming Redness Relief Primer SPF20 helps to minimize it slightly but redness is still apparent. I don't have a habit to conceal eczema as it tends to get scaly when make-up is piled on top of it but with this product, the scaly visibility is not that obvious while the redness is toned down slightly.

However, on dehydrated skin, like the edges at the sides of my nose, it can be flaky and the UltraCalming Redness Relief Primer SPF20 does not help at all. The area gets more obvious with flakes after application so I rather skip in using the product.

The Redness Relief Primer SPF20 has a silicon texture, making the skin velvety smooth. It feels like a combination of Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, Make Up For Ever HD Microperfecting Primer and Hourglass Veil Mineral Mineral Primer which I have used before.

There is a belief that such silicon primers are not good for the skin, causing breakouts and preventing the skin from performing its normal activities. ( read more about it here ). On the other hand, it is also said that the silicon helps to fill in imperfections like pores and fine lines, so that make-up glides on smoothly and skin looks flawless perfect.

A little goes a long way so a tube actually can lasts you for awhile. As a primer, it works to make my skin looks better and while I didn't notice that my make-up has become much long wearing, I can't complain about it too, since I don't really have such a problem nowadays ( with my skin being in optimal condition ( hydrated sufficiently ) so my make-up doesn't slide off ).

I don't use it as a sunscreen because SPF 20 is too little to be of any usefulness in Singapore, but it is still an added bonus, on top of my sunblock and BB cream.

In conclusion, it may be a worthwhile investment as a redness-reducing treatment and as a primer but for those who are wary of silicon ingredients, it is best to avoid this product.

I received 2 complimentary sachets as part of my purchases some time back. Containing SPF 30, this product contains Titanium Dioxide to defend against partial UVA rays and full UVB rays.

Creamy in texture with a silicon smooth feel, the shade fits my skin tone and blends into my skin seamlessly. It was easy to apply on the skin due to its smooth texture and has a nice subtle fragrance that is soothing to the nose. The coverage is sheer to medium and conceals slight redness and blemishes.

Based on Paula's analysis, this product is loaded with many fragrant oils that are proven to be irritating. Research indicates that components of lavender, specifically linalool, can be cytotoxic, which means that topical application causes skin-cell death
Lavender leaves contain camphor, which is a known skin irritant. Because the fragrance constituents in lavender oil oxidize when exposed to air, lavender oil is a pro-oxidant, and this enhanced oxidation increases its irritancy on skin. Its recommended to avoid Lavender Oil in skin-care products.

Review : Dermalogica Essential Cleansing Solution

I have been looking around for a suitable cleanser, ever since Dermalogica changed its formula for the entire Ultracalming line, including my holy grail cleanser for the past 5 years. Most cleansers on the market do not suit my skin type, leaving my skin tight and dry most of the time. I was so relieved and happy when I found the Ultracalming Cleanser but good times never last.

I was recommended to use this cleanser, to replace the Ultracalming Cleanser so I went to Compass Point Aster Spring to pick up a sachet to try it out. It allowed me 4 usages.

The essential cleansing solution is a milky white lotion-type that is mild and gentle. It can also be used to remove light make-up though I used it more as a cleanser than as a make-up remover. It does not foam and if you use it on very wet face, you can hardly feel the cleanser doing its job as its so diluted and runny once it touches water.

While the skin is left feeling soft and supple, there is a slight redness on the sides of the nose and on the chin area. Overall, I feel that there is a lack of moisture on my face. I still like the Ultracalming Cleanser with the original formula and nothing beats that.

It scored a 3.7 from 51 users on Makeupalley. In terms of ingredients, it does contain Benzophenone-4 which is considered as an irritant, however the concentration is low in this product.

It is definitely cheaper buying Dermalogica products from the USA than to get it in Singapore.

I tried Dermalogica Precleanse Cleansing Oil back in 2012 during my facials as the beautician always use it on me, and I still remembered how good it felt then. 

Fast forward to March 2024, I redeemed 3 bottles of Dermalogica Precleanse Cleansing Oil with my facial package credits. The scent of lavender and mandarin orange has been both uplifting and calming, something I really look forward to.

Review : Dermalogica Barrier Repair

I have briefly used the original formula many years ago but was not impressed enough to invest in the full retail size. I received a complimentary sachet of the new formula from my recent Dermalogica purchases and I thought it felt slighly different.

I am not a fan of such waterless moisturiser and I felt that the silicone-base is just too much, that it almost feel like a primer from Smashbox. No doubt it made the skin super silky smooth and make-up adhere to the skin well because of the smooth base, but hey! I am looking for a moisturiser to moisture the skin.

Frankly speaking, the new formula of the Ultra-calming line have been mostly a miss than a hit and I sorely miss the original formula of everything in the same line. I have been quite disappointed in Dermalogica ever since they revamped their Ultra-calming line. Why fix something when its not broken?

This waterless moisturiser is clear in colour with a silicone texture, like how a Smashbox primer feels on the skin. The skin feels velvety smooth and soft. There were no breakouts or redness but I just feel like there is a layer of mask on my skin and I don't really like the feeling. In fact, it is not adding any moisture to the skin and I wonder why it should even be considered as a moisturiser. It also added some tiny bumps and whiteheads on my chin area.

Its been said that this moisturiser helps to reduce damage caused by environmental factors or anything that strips the skin. It also helps sensitive skin by reducing redness, irritation and flakiness.
The occasional redness on my skin did not really subside even after using this moisturiser and I have no flakiness on my skin at that point of usage, to be able to comment on its efficacy.

Being such a big fan of Dermalogica products, I am always delighted to see new products from them. Most of the products worked pretty well on my skin, but sadly this new line for the sensitive skin is really bad. I am actually very disappointed that it does not work at all and sometimes even made my skin worse.

The original formula of the ultra calming cleanser is my holy grail product for almost 4 years, however the new formula performs badly on my skin.
With this new calming masque, will I be able to renew my confidence? Hardly, to say the least.

I have 4 sachets of this masque and it provided me for about 5 to 6 usages of which I have used for about 3 times. It does not have any artficial scent. The look-almost-creamy but light texture spreads easily on the skin but unlike the usual calming mask in the market, it does not have one of those minty cold feeling commonly used to soothe the redness, if any.
In fact, it feels so normal that one may forgot that its supposed to be a calming mask.

It does nothing to soothe the redness on my cheeks which was due to an allergic reaction to a new make-up remover I am currently using.
My red, dry scaly patch on the right cheek near the nose remains the same, with or without the masque application. It does nothing to the skin, no improvement, no soothed feeling, no softness, nothing. Period.

The first time, I used it up to 10minutes as stated in the description and there was a slight itch sensation of which I washed it off immediately. The second time, I was rushed for time and had it on for 5 minutes where nothing happen. The redness did not subside at all for the whole day.

The third time, I had it for 15minutes, just to ensure that it is truly a failure and indeed it proved my claim. Into the bin, it goes. Bye!

Review : Dermalogica Sebum Clearing Masque

I have 2 sachets of this masque which is enough for 7~8 times of usages as I only use it on the T-zone or zits-affected areas. 

I used to use a clay based mask once a week when I was younger for deep-cleansing but as age crept up and my skin becomes drier, I limited it to times when zits occured, which is usually before my monthly menses. Recently, my T-zone seems to be quite oily so I used this mask on my T-zone once a week, then lately zits started to occur on my upper lips and chin so I used it on those affected areas as well.

Main Ingredients
Salicylic Acid : exfoliates dead skin cells and clears congested follicles to minimize development of future comedones and breakouts.
Kaolin and Bentonite clays : absorb excess oil.
Spiraea Ulmaria Extract : inhibits bacteria by stimulating the skin's natural anti-bacterial agents.
Niacinamide, Yeast Extract, Horse Chestnut, Licorice, Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5) and Caffeine : regulate sebum production and soothe inflammation.
Zinc Gluconate and Caffeine : help regulate sebum production and help control bacterial metabolism of sebum-reducing inflammation.
Cinnamon Bark : blend inhibits bacterial lipid metabolism and degradation of enzymes while eliminating bacteria and providing astringent properties.
Oat Kernel, Bisabolol and Licorice : help soothe irritated skin.
Farnesyl and Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5) : strengthen follicle membrane.

When I used it on my T-zone on clear but oily skin, it is refreshing and minty (probably due to its several menthol derivatives ) but I did not find any improvement in my level of oiliness. The next morning, my T-zone is still oily on the 3 times I have used it.

Moving on, I used it on my zits-affected area recently and found an improvement in the reduction of my inflamed zits. Less inflamed and the zits feel and look better. The zits become smaller within 2 days and it become less red and less obvious.
Note that the dry areas, when applied with this masque may cause flushing hot sensation, as in the case of mine.

The active ingredient is Triclosan at 0.2% which may not be welcomed for many users as its not deemed to be safe by some organizations.

Review : Dermalogica Conditioning Body Wash

This is yet another complimentary sachet when I ordered my dermalogica products. I had 2 sachets which allowed me 2 usages to try it out.

Cleanses thouroughly without stripping the skin's natural moisture balance.
Purifying essential oils of Tea Tree, Lemon, Eucalyptus and Rosemary invigorate the skin.

I am starting to get abit disappointed with their bodycare products because its just not as awesome as the rest of the skincare products I am using from Dermalogica.

There was not much foam and hence I tend to use more than what I normally would. It performs like a mediocre body wash easily available from any drugstore. It also left my skin feeling abit dry.

The only saving grace is probably its scent though I much prefer its exfoliating wash if I have to choose the scent I like, between both.

It scores 4.1 from Makeupalley. Just a note that it does contain Sodium Laureth Sulfate and some parabens.

Review : Dermalogica Exfoliating Body Scrub

Before I plopped down US$33 for a body scrub, I need to try it first, to justify the cost. So what better way but to request for some samples during my Dermalogica purchased order? Since I am so in love with most of their face products, I thought I should move on to their body products.

With their 2 sachets, it lasted me for only 2 usages since I used quite alot from top to toe.

I love the scent of the essential oils in this creamy scrub. Within the creamy texture, lies its fine granules but I found it to be too scratchy and abrasive on the skin, leaving some painful feeling after the scrub. Could it be because I used too much strength? However, my skin did feel smooth and soft after each scrub.

Review : Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser (new formula)

The cleanser with the original formula have been my holy grail product for the past 4 years to curb my sensitive skin. Its something which I cannot do without. However, several months ago, it came up with a new formula which I was not aware of. I came to know about it after receiving my products ordered direct from USA.
Initially, I just thought it was the packaging change but it turns out that the ingredients have changed as well after I realized my skin have reacted to the new formula badly.

Apparently, the whole UltraCalming line have been revamped to "serious" relief for sensitized skin.

Well, I started on the cleanser with the new formula as I have used up the old one. I thought it should be something even better ( or so, the marketing folks thought so but you and I know better ).
In the end, I experienced something I have never experience before in the past 4 years.

First, I did not quite like the smell, it just reminded me of some musty scent. Then while I am in the cleansing process, I could feel some slight reaction to my face. It stings. Real bad. I was so stunned. I was not expecting something like this, formulated for the sensitive skin. It was just minty hot.
I washed it off immediately. And guess what? My face turned red and flushing hot. It was terrible and I was upset, extremely upset.

I am upset about losing my favourite cleanser. I am upset what the formula have done to my skin. I am upset that I may not be able to find another HG cleanser as good as the old one. I wondered what I should do? I hate new formulas. Why can't the people just stick to something which have been working well in the first place? Why fix it when its not broken in the first place? Urgh. It was just so frustrating.

And so I thought that perhaps I should give it another chance. I relooked back to all the products before using the cleanser, thinking perhaps that the cleanser may not be the culprit, it may perhaps have reacted to something I have used before the cleansing process.

In the meantime, I have also written in to Dermalogica in the States, asking them about the new cleanser formula and about my skin irritation. The folks, while polite and sounded sincere in knowing more about the situation were kinda slow in replying me back and I sort of gave up in the end, after many rounds of to and fro.

The stinging feeling become lesser in the weeks to come and I was glad and thought perhaps my skin have not gotten used to the new cleanser and probably reacted to it in a big way but have since calmed down.

However the stinging feeling suddenly came back one day for no reason at all and it continued once in a blue moon. I get panicky. A good product should not be doing that to my skin. So bye, the product is going to my sister who, despite with more sensitive skin than mine, has no problem with it. Go figure!

March Quick Review

Initial reviews on some of the sachets I have used recently. Due to the limited number of times used, its not enough for me to conduct a full review so its just some thoughts.

1) Dermalogica Eye Make-up remover

An efficient, clean-rinsing make-up remover specially formulated to instantly dissolve all traces of eye and lip make-up, including stubborn mascara. Completely oil-free, alcohol-free and water soluble, this soothing. conditioning gel contains silk amino acids to help strengthen lashes and condition the delicate eye lid area

The 2 sachets I have, sadly only allowed me 1 usage on the eye make-up on 1 eye. I had mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadow on that day, and this gel manage to remove it gently without any irritation.

2) Lilyth Cleansing Milk

Made in France, the complimentary sachet from Cosme-de provided me with 2 usages to remove my make-up over the weekend. Its gentle and glides easily on the face to remove most traces of make-up. Its quite a joy in using it. It may be more effective on light make-up. There is no irritation and there is no tight feeling after cleansing, however, I do find slight flakiness on the wings of my nose though there is no tingly, irritated sensation.
 
3) Lilyth Mousse Comfort

Lilyth Mousse Comfort is the creamy cleansing mousse that is particularly suited for sensitive skin or prone to irritation.

The creamy, soft foam pampers the skin with its velvety texture, and plenty of water for washing off offers a fresh experience. It gently eliminates makeup and impurities, even eye make-up is gently and caringly removed without causing a burning sensation. And during cleansing, it enhances moisture levels and boosts skin elasticity.

The 1 sachet from Cosme-de was able to last several usages but I gave up after the first try. My sensitive skin is never suitable for foam type of cleansing as it is usually drying but I never gave up trying. It lathers well and while the skin does not experience any taut feeling but my hands do. It gave a squeaky-clean type of feeling which is quite drying. It cleanses off light make-up well ( BB cream and sunscreen ).

4) Beauty Credit Fresh Kiwi Yoghurt Pack

Provides moisture and nutrients for tired skin from outdoor activities leaving skin smooth and healthy

I tried once and decided that its not for me. My skin become itchy after 10 mins on the face. After cleansing it off, my skin became slightly red. Definitely a no-no for me.
