Review : Skin Food Pomegranate Collagen Eye Mask

Product Description
A pomegranate extract and collagen infused under eye mask to brighten and promote elasticity for a better complexion

Key Ingredients :
Pomegranate extract, Hydrolyzed collagen, Niacinamide, Adenosine

I had purchased 2 sheets of Skin Food Pomegranate Collagen Eye Mask from testerkorea for 2500 won each and brought it along for my Australia trip.

A clear clampshell tray with 2 eye sheet masks can be found in the packaging. The eye masks are shaped like cresent moons, made with a glooey-like, sticky material.

The Pomegranate Collagen Eye Masks are moist enough to provide a cooling and refreshing sensation without any dripping mess. They adhere well to skin though the eye masks slide down slightly every few minutes so a lie-down while masking would be better.

Unfortunately, other than refreshing the undereye area, to make it look less tired, I did not see any spectacular result to continue further purchase.

Review : Skin Food Everyday Broccoli Facial Mask Sheet

Product Description
A hydrating mask that contains broccoli extract and promotes a healthy glow

Skin Food Everyday Broccoli Facial Mask Sheet consists of a sturdy material with a hint of broccoli scent. It has circular prints on the sheet, unlike the usual plain masks. Large in size, the mask sheet covers slightly to beyond the face and chin area, causing a slight hanging flap which opens up easily.

My skin feels like it is enveloped with moisture right after treatment but skin still turns flaky after several hours later in Australia.

Review : Skin Food Everyday Green Tea Facial Mask Sheet

Product Description
Skin Food Everyday Green Tea Facial Mask Sheet is a 100% pure cotton sheet face mask infused with green tea extract. Nourish your skin with a combination of hydration, minerals and antioxidants. It helps soothe the skin with cooling moisture

Yet another 2 sheets of the Skin Food Everyday Green Tea Facial Mask Sheet which I brought along for my Australia trip. The mask is a slightly larger than normal mask with textured circular prints. The material is sturdy with a subtle green tea scent.

The Everyday Green Tea Facial Mask Sheet covers to slightly below chin where the flap tends to open up easily. It drips slightly but provides a cooling and refreshing sensation on skin. However, the hydration is moderate but not spectacular in 15 ~ 22 degrees weather.
The cooling sensation helps to calm and soothe stressed skin and my skin certainly felt much better after all the walking for the whole day.

Review : Crabtree & Evelyn Citron Honey & Coriander Hand Therapy Cream

Product Description
Lock in lashings of moisture with our award-winning Citron, Honey and Coriander Hand Therapy. Infused with macadamia nut oil, shea butter and conditioning lemon, coriander and honey extracts, this intensive cream nourishes skin so it’s noticeably smoother after each luxurious application.
  • Contains hydrating ceramides and antioxidant-rich vitamin E
  • Myrrh extract helps condition nails and cuticles
  • Formulated without lauryl sulfates, mineral oil, parabens or propylene glycol

I received Crabtree and Evelyn Citron Honey and Coriander Hand Therapy Cream as a gift from my aunt who always have a dozens of such hand creams from friends and colleagues during the Christmas season.

At 100g, it was a travel-friendly fit for my trip to Sydney/Melbourne and I used it several times daily, to nourish my hands. My hands suffered the most whenever I travel to a drier climate because I have yet to find a hand cream that really moisturises my dry hands to my satisfaction so it was either a hit or miss whenever I use a new hand cream.

Citron Honey and Coriander Hand Therapy Cream has a citrus scent that smells of a mixture of lemon and coriander which is divine to me. It sinks into the skin pretty well without any stickiness or greasiness. And although my hands feel slightly moisturised, I don't find it adequate for my dry hands in a colder country.

This product scored 4.5 from 8 users on Makeupalley.

Review : Skin Food Everyday Super Nut Facial Mask Sheet

Product Description
A nourishing sheet mask that contains five different nut extracts and transforms dry, rough skin into a soft texture

Key Ingredients :
Walnut extract 22mg
Sweet almond extract 44mg
Macadamia Seed extract 88mg
Coconut extract 66mg
Cashew extract 66mg

Another 2 facial mask sheets that were used on 2 consecutive days in my Aussie trip. I am on an intensive mask regime whenever I travel, because the weather can be quite damaging and I sleep in an air-conditioned hotel. ( I rarely turned on the air-conditioner at home because it is drying to the skin and is too cold for the body which may cause poor blood circulation. I only turn on the air-conditioner when the heat is at its most unbearable state )

Skin Food Everyday Super Nut Facial Mask Sheet has a lovely milky scent. The sturdy mask sheet material is moist and is large enough that covers beyond the chin area.
Moderate performance from the mask as I don't feel that it performs exceptionally well, except that it does make my skin soft and smooth but not exactly as hydrated as I would prefer.

Crabtree & Evelyn Tarocco Orange Eucalyptus & Sage Bath & Shower Gel

Product Description
Caress and cleanse in one scented sweep with our Tarocco Orange, Eucalyptus and Sage Skin Invigorating Bath and Shower Gel. This upliftingly fragranced, gently cleansing gel creates a smooth lather in the shower, brilliant bubbles in the bath and a splash of indulgence in your daily routine.
  • Conditions with antioxidant and vitamin C-rich Tarocco blood orange extract
  • Eucalyptus and sage extracts help freshen skin
  • Formulated without colour, mineral oil, parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol or sodium lauryl sulfate

The 50ml travel sized shower gel was a perfect fit for my recent Australia trip as it was travel friendly and does not spill easily with its flick top cap.

The orange scent is certainly uplifting and refreshing. As with all other shower gels from Crabtree and Evelyn, the  Tarocco Orange Eucalyptus and Sage Bath and Shower Gel foams well and lathers pretty well.

Review : Skin Food Beauty In A Food Ginseng Mask

Product Description
A beauty food mask sheet that moisturizes and nourishes aging skin to make it healthy

With a thin and moist material, Skin Food Beauty In A Food Ginseng Mask adheres well and the cutting is just right for my face shape.

The soothing ginseng scent smells good and feels good for the senses. Skin feels nourished but not overly so. It is good for maintenance but not for emergency use.

Skin Food Beauty In A Food Jeju Tangerine Mask

Product Description
A beauty food mask sheet that provides fresh moisture to dull skin. Contains Jeju Tangerine Peel Extract.

I brought along 2 sheets of the Beauty In A Food Jeju Tangerine Mask to my recent Sydney trip and used it on 2 consecutive days. The weather has dipped and is near to the start of winter so hydration is much needed on such days.

The Jeju Tangerine Mask with a thin material texture, has an artificial orange scent. The cut out fits my face shape and adheres well. My skin was moderately hydrated in Sydney weather, although it wasn't impressive enough for me to repeat the purchase.

Review : John Frieda Full Repair Deep Conditioner Mask

Product Description
Intense repairing formula, with lightweight Incha Inchi Oil, penetrates deep and repairs the look and feel of overstyled hair , reducing the risk of breakage. Damaged hair becomes silky and full. Safe for colour-treated and chemically-treated hair.

I won the full retail size of  John Frieda Full Repair Deep Conditioner Mask together with the rest of the products in the Full Repair range from John Frieda sometime back and has been using the mask as a daily conditioner for the past 3 weeks.

Surprisingly, a 150ml size depleted pretty fast, probably because of my long tresses. Then again, it could also be due to it being a tub, where I can easily scoop dollops of the mask generously onto my hair.

The scent of John Frieda Full Repair Deep Conditioner Mask is strong, distinct and smells great. The texture of the mask is not overly thick and feels more like a conditioner rather than a mask. My hair feels smoother and softer after every treatment.

Actually, its been a long while since I used mainstream hair brands and is glad that this conditioner mask works well but I will still lean towards organic and natural brands, if I can.
If you have been looking for a good hair mask, I will recommend you to try this out and see if it works well for you.

Spend just a little effort on your hair every day and you will see a difference in time to come. The same motto goes for all things in life.
