The HARUHARU WONDER Black Rice Bakuchiol Eye Cream is a gentle eye cream that helps improve the appearance of wrinkles, dark circles and overall skin complexion. Contains plant-derived Bakuchiol (a retinol alternative ingredient) and fermented black rice to moisturise and rejuvenate your eye area from the inside out. Contains bamboo shoot extracts that provides antioxidant and anti-flammatory effect. Also features Cica and Natto gum that iron out lines on and around your lids. This eye cream is a milky, light cream type that is absorbed quickly without stickiness.
Haruharu Wonder products had been gaining traction on Instagram for awhile and I am thankful to be first gifted Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Bakuchiol Eye Cream in a Stylekorean Eye Cream collaboration, followed by another Stylekorean Haruharu Wonder collaboration.

Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Bakuchiol Eye Cream is a slim tube of 20ml Black Rice Bakuchiol Eye Cream goodness that are dispensed via the pump dispenser. White in colour with a creamy consistency and a subtle cooling sensation, it doesn't have much of a scent.
How To Use :
1) In both your morning and evening skincare routines, dispense a rice-grain-sized amount of eye cream onto the tips of your ring fingers.
2) With a gentle tapping motion, apply the cream to the under-eye area and eyelids, ensuring it is fully absorbed.
Performance and Ingredients
Formulated with the finest ingredients, including fermented Black Rice, Bamboo Shoot Bark extract, and 5,000ppm of Bakuchiol, Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Bakuchiol Eye Cream is the ultimate ally in combating wrinkles around the eyes and promoting a smoother complexion. During the initial application, I experienced a subtle sting on the right undereye for the first 4 uses before it went away for a long while and thereafter, there was a random sting on the right undereye once in a blue moon.
I enjoyed the soft creamy texture that absorbed well with a subtle tackiness as it felt nourishing and provided a smoother appearance but unfortunately after using it twice daily for 2 months, there was an eye stye on the right upper eyelid which was painful when pressed.
Thankfully, the eye stye went away after several weeks and I stopped using the eye cream totally as I didn't want to risk it again.
In terms of ingredients, it contains the following...
Fermented Black Rice extract 2000ppm : Antioxidant, soothing. Black rice is already rich in antioxidant compounds as it is, but when it is fermented its anti-oxidation power dramatically jumps.
Fermented bamboo shoot bark extract : Even-up tone , brightening.
Bakuchiol 5000ppm : Anti-aging, anti-wrinkle and skin elastic improvement. A high-purity natural active, a safe alternative ingredient with similar efficacy to antioxidant retinol (vitamin A) without side effects, extracted from the seeds of Psoralea Corylifolia of the legume family, a traditional Ayurvedic medicine.

To conclude, Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Bakuchiol Eye Cream has a soft creamy texture that is nourishing and provided a smoother appearance but unfortunately, there was an eye stye on the right upper eyelid after 2 months of twice daily use.
