WHERE TO BUY : Shopee

After emptying Lululun Hokkaido Premium Face Mask Sheet Honey and Lululun Hokkaido Milk Mask, it is time to open up the Lululun Hokkaido Melon Mask.

I like to focus on using one pack consistently before opening another, as I find this gives me a better idea of how a product performs without having too many similar products in rotation. This also helps ensure that my review isn’t skewed by switching between different sheet masks.

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Lululun Hokkaido Melon Mask comes in a convenient resealable pouch containing 7 sheet masks. The masks are neatly folded and stacked inside the pouch, making it easy to take out 1 mask at a time without making a mess. I also like the resealable packaging, as it helps keep the remaining masks moist and prevents the essence from drying out between uses while being less wasteful than individual packaging.

The sheet mask has a subtle, sweet melon scent that gives it a pleasant sensory experience without being overpowering. If you are sensitive to fragrance, however, this is something to keep in mind.

Lululun Hokkaido Melon Mask Material

The mask itself is moist and made of a soft, flexible sheet material with small cuts around the edges. Although the initial fit is slightly small for my face, the material is slightly stretchy enough to pull towards the edges of my face for a closer and snug fit although that meant the areas at both sides of nose are lifted up.

How To Use :

1) Start with clean, dry skin before applying your sheet mask.
2) Fit the mask evenly over your face, smoothing out any air bubbles and ruffles.
3) Leave it on for 10–15 minutes to let your skin soak up the essence.
4) Pour any remaining essence from the packet onto your mask or apply it to your neck, arms, and legs.
5) Remove the mask and gently pat the leftover essence into your skin.
6) Follow with moisturizer to lock everything in and don’t wash it off!

Performance and Ingredients

After using the Lululun Hokkaido Melon Mask, my skin felt slightly smoother and looked slightly brighter and more rested. However, I did notice a slightly parched sensation around my philtrum, which was not particularly pleasant and is something I do not like experiencing from a sheet mask. Adding on, the overall hydration was also minimal.

The key ingredients are....

Cucumis Melo (Melon) Seed Oil: A signature regional extract from Hokkaido known for intensive moisturization and deep nourishment.

Hydrolyzed Collagen: Helps condition and support skin's moisture barrier for a smooth, plump appearance.

Hydrolyzed Elastin: Acts as a humectant to boost skin hydration and elasticity.

Laminaria Japonica Extract (Kombu Seaweed): A mineral-rich brown algae extract that helps soothe and hydrate the skin.

Perilla Ocymoides Leaf Extract (Shiso Leaf): Traditional Japanese plant extract that helps revitalize dull skin and protect against environmental stressors.

Tocopherol (Vitamin E): An antioxidant that helps protect and condition the skin

Conclusion

To conclude, Lululun Hokkaido Melon Mask is a nice option for a quick, refreshing skincare treat, but it would not be my first choice if my main goal is deep or noticeable hydration. I liked how my skin my skin felt smoother and looked slightly brighter and more rested.

However, I was expecting more in terms of hydration. I also experienced a slightly parched sensation around my philtrum, which made the hydration aspect less impressive for me.
