WHERE TO BUY : Iherb
I purchased Pixi Rose Remedy Mask during a Sephora sale, hoping for a soothing and hydrating treatment for my skin. Unfortunately, this rinse-off mask turned out to be quite underwhelming which was disappointing, considering that I had a good experience with Pixi Glow Tonic and a decent experience with Pixi Beauty Peel and Polish Resurfacing Concentrate several years ago.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Pixi Rose Remedy Mask comes in a generous 300ml jar, making it a sizeable addition to any skincare collection. The packaging is attractive and practical, featuring a spatula that conveniently slots into the side of the jar (won't get lost), along with an inner lid to help keep the product fresh and hygienic.
The mask has a unique bouncy jelly-gel texture that feels cooling and refreshing upon application though sticky. It spreads easily across the skin, although its springy consistency can make application slightly messy if you're not careful, as the product may bounce off your fingers during use. The formula is also heavily fragranced with a strong rose scent, which may appeal to rose lovers but could be overwhelming for those who are sensitive to fragrance.
How To Use :
1) Apply a thick, even layer to clean skin, avoiding eye area.
2) Leave on for 10 minutes.
3) Rinse or tissue off.
Tip : Use in the AM & PM, or as needed.
Performance and Ingredients
Each time I used the Pixi Rose Remedy Mask, I noticed a subtle tightening sensation around my philtrum area after 5 minutes of application. As the recommended masking time is 10 minutes, I typically rinsed it off shortly after reaching that mark.
In terms of results, the mask left my skin feeling soft and smooth to the touch, but it did not provide the level of hydration I was expecting from a rose-infused jelly mask. My skin never felt noticeably plumper, more supple, or hydrated after use. In fact, there is not much difference (before and after) if I use it when my skin is parched.
I also experienced mild stinging on dehydrated areas of my face, suggesting that the formula may not be the most suitable for compromised or moisture-deprived skin. On several occasions, my skin became slightly itchy when I followed up with the Hyaah Licorice First Essence and Hyaah All In One Ectoin Lotion after masking. While I cannot definitively identify the cause, the combination did not feel particularly comfortable on my skin.
Also note that it requires copious amounts of water to rinse off this jelly gel-like mask as it clings to skin. So what I tend to do, is to cleanse my skin with damp cotton pads before rinsing off with water.
Overall, despite its soothing claims and pleasant jelly texture, the Pixi Rose Remedy Mask delivered only basic skin-softening benefits without providing meaningful hydration or skin-calming effects.

Conclusion
To conclude, Pixi Rose Remedy Mask was a disappointing purchase for me. While the generous 300ml size, convenient packaging, and unique bouncy jelly texture initially seemed promising, the performance did not live up to my expectations. The mask left my skin feeling soft and smooth after each use, but it failed to deliver the hydration and soothing benefits that it was marketed for.
The strong rose fragrance, mild stinging on dehydrated areas, and occasional itchiness when paired with certain skincare products further affected my overall experience. Considering the price point and Pixi's reputation for products like the Glow Tonic, I expected more noticeable results.
