Shan Aromatherapy Keep Calm Hand Cream Review

Product Description
Shan Aromatherapy Hand Cream is a natural and aromatherapy hand cream with sweet and sour aromatic ingredients that is a mixture of Jasmine & Grapefruit essential oil that helps in calming.

I purchased Shan Aromatherapy Keep Calm Hand Cream when I was in Bangkok as it looked interesting and hand creams are an essential to me.

Shan started in 2017, a brand born of love and care where she tried to find products made from natural ingredients. Using 95-100% ingredients derived from nature with no harmful chemicals, these products are SLS Free, Mineral Oil Free and Paraben Free.

Packaging, Scent and Texture

How To Use :
1) Massage cream into hands and between fingers.
2) Put your hands on your nose and pleasure the moment after use.

Performance and Ingredients

Shan Aromatherapy Keep Calm Hand Cream contains Vitamin E, Rice Bran Oil, Olive Oil and Shea Butter to soften and heal chapped skin while the aromatic properties of Jasmine and Grapefruit relax and calm the senses.

Consisting of pure plants extract and pure essential oil with 99% natural ingredients, the hand cream is fast absorbing, leaving my hands soft but never sticky or greasy. There are no parabens or silicones in the formulation.

While it moisturises my dry hands moderately well in most conditions, however, it is insufficient when I am in an air-conditioned office for 8 hours and I found myself to be reapplying it often.

To conclude, Shan Aromatherapy Keep Calm Hand Cream is a lovely hand cream with a calming scent. It worked great in a normal environment but I need more when I am in the air-conditioned office.

[ Review ] : Boryeong Real Mud Hand Cream

Review for Boryeong Real Mud Hand Cream

Product Description
Containing natural ingredients and abundant minerals from natural Korean mud, this hand cream keeps the hands moisturized and well hydrated. It also includes mud and natural herb extracts namely Lavender, Bergamot, Freesia, Peppermint, Chamomile, Rosemary, Shea butter, Macadamia seed oil, Adenosine and Mango.

I purchased Boryeong Real Mud Hand Cream when there was a 1 for 1 promotion on Hebeloft some time back. A good and nourishing hand cream is much needed during the current pandemic where our hands are so dry from sanitizing. I have yet to find a good and effective hand cream and was hoping that this Real Mud Hand Cream can do the job well.

Produced from the nutrient-rich mud of the South Korea city of Boryeong, popularly known for its high-nutrient sea mud, usually used for cosmetic and their annual mud festival.

[ Review ] : Sabon Patchouli Lavender Vanilla Hand Cream

Review of Sabon Patchouli Lavender Vanilla Hand Cream

Product Description
A protective and soothing hand cream enriched with Shea Butter and Aloe-Vera to protect, relax and calm the skin. SLS and Paraben Free.

I always have a hand cream in my bag because of my perpetually dry hands due to air-conditioned office, washing and now with the over-used hand sanitiser ( because of COVID-19 ). Like eye creams, its an uphill struggle to find a hand cream that moisturise my hands deeply.

Made in Israel, Sabon is a UK brand making Skin, Hair and Bodycare products ranging from facial care, bath and shower products, hair care and hand and foot products.

I have previously used Sabon Delicate Jasmine Hand Cream but isn't too fond of the scent and tried Patchouli Lavender Vanilla Dead Sea Body Scrub where the scent is such a hit!

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Full review of Sabon Patchouli Lavender Vanilla Hand Cream

Sabon Patchouli Lavender Vanilla Hand Cream 50ml comes in a pliable tube that gets ugly with long time use. It has a simple luxe vibe to it and the pretty box packaging makes it such a feminine gift for girlfriends.

Similar to the scent used in Patchouli Lavender Vanilla Dead Sea Body Scrub, I simply loved it so much. It has this soothing scent which makes one happy just thinking about it, definitely much needed in this unpredictable COVID-19 situation.

The lightweight buttery formula is white in colour and non-greasy.

Performance and Ingredients

Texture of Sabon Patchouli Lavender Vanilla Hand Cream

Sabon Patchouli Lavender Vanilla Hand Cream is light in texture and readily absorbed into hands easily without any greasy after-feel. I adored the scent and don't mind reapplication, however, they are just great as a daily maintenance but not really for severely dry skin or as emergency use and definitely not made for winter weather.

One weird observation is that the packaging states that the expiry is in July 2020 ( on sticker ) but on the tube ( printed ), its stated as January 2020. Do they do that intentionally, thinking the hand cream can actually last 6 months after expiry date or just a genuine mistake? That said, most people would have believe the packaging and won't open it to check on the tube, since technically, everything should tally. Definitely not a nice experience!

I started using the hand cream in January and while I am not overly concerned about the soon-to-be expired hand cream, I do wonder if the effects would be compromised.

Ingredient breakdown on Cosdna.

Ingredients of Sabon Patchouli Lavender Vanilla Hand Cream

Conclusion

To conclude, Sabon Patchouli Lavender Vanilla Hand Cream is a decent hand cream with a heavenly scent for daily maintenance but not for someone with perpetually dry hands.

Sabon Patchouli Lavender Vanilla Hand Cream scored 4.1 from 9 users on Makeupalley.

[ Review ] : Sabon Delicate Jasmine Hand Cream

Product Description
SABON's hand cream is enriched with Shea Butter and Aloe-Vera to protect, relax and calm the skin. SLS and Paraben Free.

This is my first foray into Sabon, a UK brand with products made in Israel, using high quality natural ingredients such as salt, mud, algae (weeds) from the Dead Sea, and carefully select botanicals elements from the Mediterranean and beyond, such as Olive oil, Shea butter and essential oils from various plants and fruits. You can read more about the history here.

Sabon's hand creams come in many type of fragrances - Patchouli Lavender Vanilla, Musk, Green Rose, Almonds, Dead Sea, Lavender Apple, Ginger Orange, Citrus Blossom, Delicate Jasmine and in different variants - Hand Cream, Butter Hand Cream and Mineral Hand Cream.

I purchased Sabon Delicate Jasmine Hand Cream 30ml when there was a sale and there was no tester but was told that this was one of the popular ones. Unfortunately, I did not quite like the scent.

The fragrance hits me the moment I opened the cap and reminds me vaguely of  Caudalie. The tube is beautifully illustrated with pretty prints and would make a great gift for friends or just sits prettily at the office desk.

However, I just couldn't get past the scent when it lingers on your hands. Its overpowering and choking as well as being unpleasant. I never know Jasmine to be that awful. Then again, scent can be pretty subjective so you could be liking it more than me.

The white coloured lightweight buttery formula applies easily, leaving a very slight shine behind but as with most hand creams I owned, they were never moisturising enough for my perpetually dry hands.

If you just need one for daily maintenance, they might do the trick or perhaps get their butter hand creams which are said to be more heavy duty.

[ Review ] : Medi Flower Rosa Canina Hand Cream

Review of Medi Flower Rosa Canina Hand Cream
Product Description
The best way to keep dry hands soft and moist is this hand cream with clinically proven ingredient only available in MEDI FLOWER.

I received Medi Flower Rosa Canina Hand Cream as a Christmas gift from my aunt last year. I like hand creams as its essential in my every day life. My hands are constantly dry so a hand cream is much needed.

Medi Flower Hand Cream Variants

There are 5 variants to Medi Flower Hand Creams, namely

#White Lily : Feel the nature as it is. White lily extract and β-glucan deliver deep moisture to the hands.
#Lavender Floral : Lavender lets you be easy in your mind. Lavender water and β-glucan deliver deep moisture to the hands.
#Rosa Canina : Rich scent of cederwood from ember. Rose hip extract and β-glucan deliver deep moisture to the hands.
#Peony Blossom : Elegancy of peony and softness of white musk. Peony extract and β-glucan deliver deep moisture to the hands.
#Lotus Bloom : Fresh lime and floral scent gives you bright delicacy. Lotus extract and β-glucan deliver deep moisture to the hands.

I received mine in Rosa Canina that comes in a pretty yellow tube that oozes out the hand cream easily. At 50g, it looks pretty and presentable and is perfect as a Christmas gift or a farewell gift for your colleagues. However, the pliable hand cream tube do get dented and unsightly after much depressions.

Medi Flower Rosa Canina Hand Cream Consistency

Made in Korea, Medi Flower Rosa Canina Hand Cream has a light buttery formula that has a slight sheen once applied on the hands but doesn't leave greasy palm prints all over.

However, as with most hand creams I owned, they do not moisturise sufficiently well for my perpetually dry hands so frequent application is still much needed.

When the hand cream is nearing to the end of contents and cannot be depressed to get the contents out, I resorted to cutting the tube and squeezing out the contents, in a bid to reduce waste.

I used to throw them away when the packaging no longer allow me to squeeze out the contents but upon joining "Journey to Zero Waste in Singapore" Facebook, I learnt to be more conscious of my waste.

Review : Lucas Papaw Ointment

Lucas Papaw Ointment Review
Product Description
Lucas Papaw Ointment, made from fermented Australian papaw (papaya) is the best first-aid balm for you and family. With antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, this multiple-purpose healing topical balm is effective for relief of dry skin, abrasions, insect bites, minor burns, scrapes, bruises, chapped lip and more!

Lucas Papaw Ointment has a cult status worldwide and almost every Australian has one in their cupboard so when I was in Australia last year, I purchased a 25g tube. It was much cheaper than getting it in Singapore.

Developed in Brisbane by Dr. Thomas Lucas, a botanist and medical practitioner, who believed that papaw was the finest natural medicine ever discovered, the formula for Lucas Papaw Ointment is still the same since created over 100 years ago.

The ointment is said to have antibacterial and antimicrobial properties and can be used as a local topical application for minor burns and scalds, sunburn, gravel rash, cuts and minor open wounds, nappy rash and chafing, insect bites, splinters and thorns as well as temporary relief of dermatitis and eczema. And according to Trip Advisor, it is voted as the most popular lip balm in Trip Advisor Travellers' Choice Awards in 2014 and 2015.

Review : Crabtree & Evelyn Gardeners Overnight Hand Therapy

Crabtree & Evelyn Gardeners Overnight Hand Therapy Review

Product Description
Treat dry, hard-working hands to the Crabtree and Evelyn Gardeners Overnight Hand Therapy; a deeply nourishing formula dedicated to replenishing and regenerating skin.
Infused with a concentrated complex of vitamins and amino acids, the lightweight, intensive treatment absorbs quickly to soften and hydrate, whilst combating rough, uneven skin for long-lasting comfort. Supports the skin's natural moisture barrier to leave hands feeling smooth and comfortable with a fresh fragrance of green clover, aromatic lavender, sage, rosemary and thyme. No greasy or sticky residue.

Are you a fan of Crabtree and Evelyn? If so, you may have heard that Crabtree and Evelyn Singapore is in the process of closing all of its 12 stores on the island and will move exclusively online. The closures follow the placing of the Canadian business into bankruptcy protection, resulting in the closure of its 19 stores there as it liquidates its stock. You can read more about it here.

I received Crabtree and Evelyn Gardeners Overnight Hand Therapy as a birthday gift from my friend's children which was a sweet gesture on their part. I have always been looking out for a good hand cream for my dry hands and Crabtree and Evelyn’s newly formulated Overnight Hand Care collection sounds perfect to me. It comes in 6 fragrances - Evelyn Rose, Rosewater, Pear and Pink Magnolia, Pomegranate Argan and Grapeseed, Gardeners and La Source.

My Crabtree and Evelyn Gardeners Overnight Hand Therapy comes in a pretty dark blue tube with a round cap that makes opening and closing it a total breeze. The scent is lovely and makes me sniff it like a cat, each time I applied it on my hands.

Unlike the aluminium tube packaging reserved for its hand cream series, this plastic tube would always maintain its beautiful shape, even when its depleting, although that meant, more depressions are required and also a potential mis-judgement on how much is left.

Crabtree & Evelyn Gardeners Overnight Hand Therapy Texture

The buttery lotion sinks into my dry skin pretty quickly, leaving a smooth and silky after-feel. There is no greasy or sticky sensation which makes it perfect to continue doing your office work, without leaving dirty fingerprints all over.

Crabtree and Evelyn Gardeners Overnight Hand Therapy is touted as a more intensive hand cream than the regular Gardeners Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy, which it really is, in terms of texture. It is more emollient and less lightweight than its regular non-overnight counterpart.

However,my dry hands still require something even more intensive than Crabtree and Evelyn Gardeners Overnight Hand Therapy, although it did help to some extent, as my hands are less drying than before and I applied on a lesser frequent basis.

Review : Holika Holika Baby Silky Hand Mask Sheet

Product Description
Baby Silky Hand Mask Sheet helps to bring moisture back to those dry and tired hands by immersing them in a nutritious essence. The rich vegetable oils contained in these sheet gloves penetrate for the inside out for a lasting hydrating effect. Now you too can create baby soft hands after one use!

An acquaintance of mine has recently gifted me with some hand and foot masks, with one being Holika Holika Baby Silky Hand Mask Sheet. I thank her profusely because she was so kind. When I reached home, turned the mask around to read the instructions but noticed that there was a EXP114 stamped at the bottom of the mask. Its been more than 6 years since I last used a Holika Holika product so I am not sure if EXP114 referred to January 2014. As far as I know, dates on Korea masks stamped at the bottom, near to the seal, are usually expiry dates.

Since I am less fussy about about hand and foot masks, I decided that using them would be less wastage too. However, I do make it a point to highlight to readers that it is an expired product so that my review can be a fair and unbiased one.

I did think of telling her, in case she is unaware that those dates refer to expiry dates, yet I do not want to embarrass her that I am scoffing at her kindness of gifting me. What will you do, if you were me?

Holika Holika Baby Silky Hand Mask Sheet Texture

Holika Holika Baby Silky Hand Mask Sheet is made up of 2 layers - the exterior is a plastic white sheet, while the interior has a thinner mesh cotton-like material.

Holika Holika Baby Silky Hand Mask Sheet Material

The gloves are slightly moist with essence and I wore them for 15 minutes as recommended. It has a strong fragrance which I am not a fan of.

After removing it, all my finger pads are wrinkled up, as though they have been soaked in water for far too long. And my hands do not feel moisturised at all. The strong fragrance still lingers for a long while, even after I have washed and cleansed my hands.

Review : It's Skin Cookie & Hand Cream ( Mint )

Product Description
Hand Cream with a refreshing finish, with cookie chips melted in the moisturizing cream

I received It's Skin Cookie and Hand Cream ( Mint ) as a Christmas gift from my aunt and fell in love with its packaging, on first glance. It is just so sweet and looked so delicious. How can anyone be able to resist that ice-cream looking cream?

Made in Korea, It's Skin Cookie and Hand Cream comes in 3 flavours - original, strawberry and mint, all contained in a 80ml cute round tub that looks like mini ice-cream tubs on the go. I had the Mint flavour, where the colour of the hand cream is reminiscent of mint + cookie and cream ice-cream and the scent is minty-like.

Review : The Face Shop X Kakao Friends Apeach Hand Cream ( Cherry Blossom )

The Face Shop Kakao Friends Hand Cream

Nowadays, I tend to have more hand creams than I can use, just because its such a practical and affordable gift for everyone during the Christmas season and so I am bound to receive some.

Review : Laniege Soft Hand Lotion

Product Description
This soft, moisturizing hand lotion takes care of both hands and nails prone to weakness all at once. Hydro ion mineral water, Laneige’s representative skincare ingredient, provides intensive moisture to skin.

Laniege Soft Hand Lotion was a Christmas gift from a good friend that came together in this Christmas set. She is a laneige fan, so every year, we will receive Laniege Christmas gifts from her. How lucky! The 50ml tube size is easy to carry around in my bag and doesn't look ugly no matter how you depress it.

Containing peony extract with anti-oxidating conditioning effects, Laneige Soft Hand Lotion is said to protect both the hands and brittle nails. I don't have brittle nails so I can't comment on it, but I do have dry hands.

However, this hand lotion is a little mild for dry skin. Good for maintenance but not as an emergency fix. As the name implies, this is a lotion type, so its not exactly a heavy texture but absorbs well into the skin with a temporary hydrating effect. The subtle floral scent lingers for a short while after application but disappeared soon after.

Review : Crabtree & Evelyn Citron Honey & Coriander Hand Therapy Cream

Product Description
Lock in lashings of moisture with our award-winning Citron, Honey and Coriander Hand Therapy. Infused with macadamia nut oil, shea butter and conditioning lemon, coriander and honey extracts, this intensive cream nourishes skin so it’s noticeably smoother after each luxurious application.
  • Contains hydrating ceramides and antioxidant-rich vitamin E
  • Myrrh extract helps condition nails and cuticles
  • Formulated without lauryl sulfates, mineral oil, parabens or propylene glycol

I received Crabtree and Evelyn Citron Honey and Coriander Hand Therapy Cream as a gift from my aunt who always have a dozens of such hand creams from friends and colleagues during the Christmas season.

At 100g, it was a travel-friendly fit for my trip to Sydney/Melbourne and I used it several times daily, to nourish my hands. My hands suffered the most whenever I travel to a drier climate because I have yet to find a hand cream that really moisturises my dry hands to my satisfaction so it was either a hit or miss whenever I use a new hand cream.

Citron Honey and Coriander Hand Therapy Cream has a citrus scent that smells of a mixture of lemon and coriander which is divine to me. It sinks into the skin pretty well without any stickiness or greasiness. And although my hands feel slightly moisturised, I don't find it adequate for my dry hands in a colder country.

This product scored 4.5 from 8 users on Makeupalley.

Review : 100% Pure Vanilla Bean Hand Buttercream

Product Description
Rich buttercream moisturizes, softens and deeply nourishes with anti-aging vitamins and antioxidants.

Key Benefits :
- 100% natural, 100% vegan, gluten-free
- hydrates dry skin
- softens and deeply nourishes with anti-aging vitamins and antioxidants skin
- does not contain synthetic chemicals, artificial fragrances, alcohol, preservatives or any other toxins

Loving the sweet scent of this vanilla bean hand buttercream that smells delicious and almost edible. At 59ml, it is convenient to lug it around during my Beijing trip  in the winter weather. Because the weather is just so cold and my hands is so dry, I use the hand cream several times a day. However, it is just not enough to nourish my hands.

In fact, when I came back to Singapore, my finger pads crack and flakes after 2 days and continue for another week. I continue to use the hand cream but it did not help.

I love 100% pure products for its skin-friendly ingredients but this hand cream is not meant for winter weather, to nourish dry skin.

Ingredients :
White Tea, Rose Hydrosol, Cocoa Butter, Avocado Butter, Cabernet Grapeseed and Rose Hip Seed Oil, Candelilla Wax, Almond Flavor, Extracts of Cherry, Pomegranate, Raspberry, Blackberry, Almond and Grapefruit Seed, Cinnamon, Thyme, Oregano, Goldenseal Blackcurrant, Vitamin E (a-tocopherol), Vitamin C (ascorbyl palmitate), Citric Acid, Witch Hazel, Japanese Honeysuckle Extract

Review : Laneige Rich Hand Butter

Product Description
Wrinkle improvement hand cream in a highly moisturizing butter type that provides the rich nourishment of plant-derived Babassu Butter and shea butter to hand skin

I received the Laneige Holiday Hand Care Gift Set $29 as a Christmas gift from a good friend in 2014. It contained a limited edition hand cream duo - hand lotion and hand butter, however, in this review, I will just discuss on the hand butter.

The packaging is pretty lovely and makes it an ideal Christmas gift for your girlfriends. Christmas is always my favourite holiday of the year because I like shopping for gifts and getting pressies from close friends. It is always a joy to receive surprise gifts.

Most hand creams in the market contain Shea Butter for its nourishing properties but somehow it never really work for me. The texture is always slightly sticky and hydration is insufficient for my dry hands.

Laneige Rich Hand Butter has a light floral scent that lingers for awhile even after application. The buttery and creamy texture requires some massaging before it gets absorbed into skin.

I brought it along for my Hunan/Chong Qing trip last year for the winter weather and I just keep re-applying it. It didn't hydrate my dry hands sufficiently which got even worse during the winter weather. When I came back to Singapore, the skin on all my fingers were peeling badly and thankfully, healed by itself after oil and lotion application at home.

Boots Cucumber & Aloe Vera Hand & Nail Cream

I received Boots Cucumber and Aloe Vera Hand and Nail Cream from a good friend back from her Phuket trip. The hand cream is in a 100ml tube form, with clear packaging that reflects the green lightweight textured hand cream.

It has a light cucumber refreshing scent and is non-greasy. However, Boots Cucumber and Aloe Vera Hand and Nail Cream is too light to be moisturising under air-conditioned environment. The hand cream disappears pretty quickly after I massage it into my hands and doesn't provide much nourishment.

In terms of ingredients, the cucumber and aloe vera fall as the last 2 ingredients in the list which made the quantities pretty little to be of any effectiveness.

Review : Honeybee Gardens Nail Polish Remover

Product Description
Our acetone-free formula is enriched with horsetail extract to strengthen nails, and fortified with vitamin E and aloe to soothe and protect cuticles.  It works to remove our WaterColors Nail Enamel as well as conventional polish.  Meets environmental VOC standards set by the state of California. Gluten freeVegan.

Said to be botanically enriched, acetone-free and color free, Honeybee Gardens Nail Polish Remover used to be available on IHerb but has since discontinued it. The conventional nail polish remover tends to be drying and I wanted an alternative so  Honeybee Gardens Nail Polish Remover goes into my cart.

This is an oily formula and while it doesn't dry my nails as what I hope, it takes effort to remove the conventional nail polish like OPI. I didn't own any nail polishes from Honeybee so I can't comment on the difference, if any. Constant rubbing to and fro on the nails is required to get it off and I need to rinse my hands and feet thereafter, to avoid any greasy stains on the floor.

The scent is strong and doesn't smell natural to me. A check on the first ingredient " methyl acetate " reflects that it is still irritable to skin, but at a lower dosage as compared to acetone. Read here and here

Ingredients :
Methyl acetate, butoxydiglycol, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, equisetum arvense (horsetail) extract, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), fragrance

Review : Crabtree & Evelyn Caribbean Island Wild Flowers Hand Therapy

Product Description
Rich in antioxidants, this intensive conditioning hand cream from Crabtree and Evelyn is formulated with conditioning shea butter and macadamia nut oil to moisturise and soften hands.

I love receiving hand creams as Christmas gifts because they are just so practical. The Crabtree and
Evelyn Caribbean Island Wild Flowers is a Christmas gift from a good friend, which I use in the
office. With a simple illustration, the packaging looks very ordinary and with milky-white in colour, one may not have notice it lying quietly on the office table.

I adore the scent which is a light fragrance of florals that isn't too overpowering, yet lingers on the
hands for awhile until you wash it off. Even my male colleagues commented that it smells divine. The description says the delicate spider lily is at the heart of the fragrance, softly blended with island
wild flowers, tropical citrus fruits, night blooming jasmine and sea air accords.

This 25g pliable tube is much more user-friendly than the old aluminium types where it gets dented out of shape and get torn at the metal sides. This tube is easy to depress and still retains its shape nicely, though slightly flatter.

White in colour, the texture of the hand cream is like a lightweight moisturiser for the hands. It is non
-greasy or heavy, moisturises slightly but requires re-application every now and again, for my dry hands in the air-conditioned office.
Not the best but still moderately fine. The ultra-moisturising hand therapy costs $13 for a 25g and $65 for a 300ml size. You can get the 25g at a cheaper price during member's sale, usually near to Christmas period.

Crabtree & Evelyn Pear and Magnolia Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy

Product Description
Lock in lashings of moisture with our Pear and Pink Magnolia Hand Therapy. Infused with shea butter and macadamia nut oil to condition and moisturise, this intensive cream nourishes skin so it’s noticeably smoother after each luxurious application.
  • Contains hydrating ceramides and antioxidant-rich vitamin E
  • Myrrh extract helps condition nails and cuticles
  • Formulated without mineral oil, parabens, phthalates or propylene glycol
I received a 25g of the Crabtree and Evelyn Pear and Magnolia Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy ass a Christmas gift and is soon used up right after I came back from my China trip because my hands are basically flaking from the winter weather.

Pretty pink packaging makes it a very sweet product for the ladies as a Christmas gift. The plastic packaging meant that it doesn't get that dented ugly look after much depressions, as opposed to its original metal packaging.

The sweet scent may be a bonus to others but is overpowering for my nose. With its shea butter formula, the texture is creamy without being heavy or overly greasy. You can see a slight sheen on your palms after application.

I would peg this hand therapy as being slightly more moisturising that the previous few hand creams I have used before, from the same brand, but my hands still required something stronger.

Review : Crabtree & Evelyn Himalayan Blue Hand Cream

Product Description
Lock in lashings of moisture with our Himalayan Blue Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy. Infused with macadamia nut oil, shea butter and extracts of golden champaca, ginger and tea oil, this intensive cream nourishes skin so it’s noticeably smoother after each luxurious application.
  • Contains hydrating ceramides and antioxidant-rich vitamin E
  • Myrrh extract helps condition nails and cuticles
  • Formulated without mineral oil, parabens, phthalates or propylene glycol
I received this as a Christmas gift a year ago. It is definitely worthwhile if you are a member of Crabtree and Evelyn because you get significant savings during Christmas time, as compared to the discounts from credit cards.

Hand creams are lovely gifts because most females use hand cream! Himalayan Blue has a fresh scent that is not exactly as appealing as that of the Rose Hand Cream but is still bearable.

The pliable aluminium tube is a disaster waiting to happen, because it literally broke at the sides, even though I did not toss it in my bag, but just sitting on my office table for regular usage.

The daily depressions on the tube caused the sides to break which reflects poor quality. I have used several of their hand creams without experiencing this issue before, so perhaps there is a quality issue with this batch or that, there is a change in the packaging material.

Crabtree and Evelyn Himalayan Blue Hand Cream has a fresh scent with a white cream that is neither too thick nor too light but is moisturising though not as much as what my hands need. It doesn't leave a greasy after feel on the skin but because my hands are dry and flaky after coming back from the winter weather, I still require frequent application.
It is more moisturising than most hand creams but it doesn't really combat the after winter hands yet is still moderately sufficient to be used in the air-conditioned office.
