When I first discovered the EO Orange Squeeze Kids 3-in-1 Soap during my trip to Perth last year, I had no idea it was connected to one of my favourite personal care brands, EO. It wasn't until I started using it back home in Singapore and took a closer look at the packaging that I realised both brands came from the same manufacturer.

Interestingly, while EO originally stood for "Essential Oils" in the brand's adult-focused range, the kids' collection falls under "Everyone" (EO), a family-friendly line designed for all ages. The Lime and Bergamot scent delivers an uplifting, citrusy aroma that instantly refreshes the senses, turning every shower into a revitalizing experience. 

Its light, runny texture spreads easily across the skin and rinses off effortlessly, though the thin consistency may cause a slight spurt when dispensing.

How To Use: 

Pump desired amount onto hand or body loofah, apply to wet skin and enjoy the silky lather. Rinse thoroughly.

Performance and Ingredients

I truly enjoyed using the Natio Daily Invigorating Body Wash, and it quickly became part of my self-care routine for destressing after a long day. The uplifting aroma of Lime and Bergamot helps refresh my senses and elevate my mood. 

It lathers gently with light suds, providing a thorough yet mild cleanse that leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and refreshed without any dryness.

[ Review ] Sabon Delicate Jasmine Body Scrub

Boasting a unique blend of mineral-rich Dead Sea salts and 3 organic botanical oils (Sweet Almond, Argan, and Jojoba), Sabon exfoliating scrubs are expertly crafted to remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and promote natural skin renewal with the proven power of gentle exfoliation and intense nourishment from the first use.

Our skin naturally sheds dead cells every day, but as we age or when skin turnover slows, buildup can leave the surface feeling rough, dull, and uneven. That’s where body scrubs come in. Designed as a form of physical exfoliation, body scrubs typically use particles such as sugar, salt, coffee grounds, or microcrystalline powders to buff away dead skin cells. 

Many modern formulations go beyond simple exfoliation, combining nourishing oils, humectants like glycerin, and soothing botanicals to leave the skin soft, hydrated, and radiant. After emptying Sabon Green Rose Body Scrub, it was time to try out the Delicate Jasmine variant, which I purchased during a sale. 

I didn't like the Delicate Jasmine hand cream when I tried it back in 2019 but was pleasantly surprised that the scent was subtle in the body scrub. 

Top notes: Bergamot | Middle notes: Ylang-ylang, Jasmine, Rose, Lily of the Valley | Base notes: Vanilla, Musk

Housed in a similar charming glass jar with a metal cap and rustic green paper detailing like Sabon Green Rose Body Scrub, the mixture of salt and oils makes it a lovely soft scrub with a hint of abrasion ( may not be ideal for sensitive skin types ) that left my body soft and smooth. 

The key ingredients are....

Magnesium : Soothing and healing, improves skin barrier function, boosts hydration levels, and enhances skin metabolism.

Potassium : Natural moisturizer with antibacterial powers.

Organic Sweet Almond Oil : Rice in Vitamin A and essential fatty acids. Soften and smooth effect on the skin.

Organic Argan Oil : Rich in Vitamin E and essential Fatty Acids. Nourishes, fortifies and repairs the skin

Organic Jojoba Oil : Promotes skin-soothing. Boost skin hydration.

[ Review ] Natio Kids Squeaky Clean Hair and Body Wash

Have a whale of a time in the water with this gentle top to tail cleanser! Formulated with nourishing plant extracts and naturally aromatic essential oils, the gently lathering hair and body cleanser washes away everyday dirt and debris to leave skin feeling clean, nourished and deeply moisturised. Softly fragranced bodywash for kids. Suitable for toddlers through to tweens.

How To Use :

Gently massage desired amount onto wet hair and body. Rinse off well.

I purchased Natio Kids Squeaky Clean Hair and Body Wash from BHG closing down sale earlier this year. I like gentle products and thought this might suit my body skin type with no plans to use it for the hair.

It smells calming and uplifting but the texture runs alittle thin with runny consistency hence the bottle runs out fast. It suds up easily, lathers well and left my body clean without any squeaky tightness. This is a nice option for those who prefer mild, fuss-free body care.

I purchased a 60g of the Sabon Green Rose Body Scrub during a sale for a very good price as my previous experience with Sabon Patchouli Lavender Vanilla Body Scrub has been great. 

Housed in a charming glass jar with a metal cap and rustic brown paper detailing, the Sabon Green Rose Body Scrub makes a lovely first impression. The scent is uplifting yet calming which is ideal for winding down after a long, hectic day and carving out a little me-time.

Free from parabens and mineral oils, this scrub is more than just pretty packaging. It effectively smoothens and softens the skin, leaving it silky, supple, and refreshed.

The Dead Sea salt granules offer a satisfying exfoliation that buffs away dead skin cells, though the texture may feel a bit too abrasive for sensitive skin types. Personally, I found the grains fine enough not to be an issue, but it’s something to keep in mind if your skin leans delicate.

All in all, it's a sensory, spa-like treat that delivers both results and relaxation.

[ Review ] Natio Desert Lime + Salt Coffee Scrub

Natural Salt and Coffee granules delicately buff away dull surface skin and impurities; native Australian antioxidant super fruit Desert Lime brightens and protects for radiant skin.

I purchased Natio Desert Lime + Salt Coffee Scrub from BHG (Junction 8) Closing Down Sale recently. Natio products like Rosewater Drench Mineral Face Mist and Ageless Hydrating Mask didn't work particularly well for me previously but I still couldn't resist the chance to when my eyes laid upon a coffee body scrub. 

How To Use : 

Gently massage onto clean, damp skin. Rinse clean with warm water.

The salt coffee body scrub, packaged in a generous 300g sturdy jar makes scooping out the product convenient. 

However, my first impression left me slightly disappointed—the scrub felt very dry right from the top, and I assumed the texture would improve as I dug deeper. Unfortunately, the dryness was consistent throughout the jar, which made application less enjoyable.

Despite the dry texture, I went ahead and used it on my body twice a week after exercise, like a post-workout exfoliation. The scrub was definitely abrasive, but that also meant it effectively sloughed off dead skin, leaving my body feeling noticeably softer and smoother after rinsing.

As for the scent, while it’s marketed as a coffee scrub, the fragrance was extremely subtle—you’d have to bring your nose close to the jar to detect it, which may be a letdown for those who enjoy aromatic body care products.

If you're looking for a gritty, no-frills exfoliator, this might work for you—especially if you like a bit of intensity in your scrubs. But if you prefer a more hydrating, sensorial experience, this one might fall short.

Desert Lime, Salt, Coffee, Olive, Sweet Almond, Shea Butter and Coconut.

Conclusion

To conclude, while  Natio Desert Lime + Salt Coffee Scrub delivers on its promise of smoother skin through effective exfoliation, the overly dry texture and barely-there fragrance may not appeal to everyone—especially those who prefer a more luxurious or hydrating scrub experience. It’s a decent option if you’re after a budget-friendly, hard-working exfoliator, but I’d recommend using it gently and following up with a nourishing body lotion to replenish moisture. If scent and texture matter to your routine, you may want to explore other options.

[ Review ] OC Naturals Berry Bliss Kids 3 in 1 Conditioning Shampoo & Body Wash

The natural, plant-based, gentle shampoo, conditioner and body wash all-in-one is enriched with vitamin E, pro-vitamin B5, raspberry extract and wheat germ oil, and with a gentle, blissfully sweet fragrant formula, it makes it the total cleansing and moisturising package

I purchased OC Naturals Berry Bliss Kids 3 in 1 Conditioning Shampoo & Body Wash sometime back, after falling in love with their body washes. Their body washes worked very well for me, but not the shampoos. 

This is formulated for children and can be used as a body wash, shampoo and conditioner. I purchased it, thinking it will be gentle for my sensitive skin and scalp.

Packaging, Scent and Texture

OC Naturals Berry Bliss Kids 3 in 1 Conditioning Shampoo & Body Wash is a 400ml sized bottle with a flick top cap. The cap does not function well and cannot be closed fully, causing leakage at times. It has an artificial berry fragrance that may delight children but probably not discerning adults. 

How To Use :

Apply to wet hair, form a gentle lather then rinse. Apply to a moist puff or wash cloth & gently lather all over body then rinse.

Performance and Ingredients

I used OC Naturals Berry Bliss Kids 3 in 1 Conditioning Shampoo & Body Wash as a shampoo initially, but it was drying, causing my hair to be straw-like with horrible hair fall that I had to stop after 3 uses. 

As a body wash, the gel-like contents felt slightly sticky although it lathers and cleanses well. Not an ideal body wash, shampoo or conditioner and definitely not a repurchase. 

I realized it costs 3 times more in Singapore, as compared to buying in Australia, while researching for this post. What a disappointing and expensive purchase!

OC Naturals Berry Bliss Kids 3-in-1 Conditioning Shampoo & Body Wash may come in a fun, fruity scent that appeals to children, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. As a shampoo, it left my hair dry and brittle with noticeable hair fall after just a few uses. While it performs decently as a body wash in terms of lather, the slightly sticky texture and poor packaging—especially the faulty cap that leaks—add to the overall disappointment.

To make matters worse, I later discovered it’s priced nearly three times higher in Singapore compared to Australia, making it a costly and underwhelming purchase. Between the drying formula, ineffective 3-in-1 functionality, and inconvenient packaging, this is one I won’t be repurchasing.

The brand later reached out to me, upon reading my Instagram empties post that the body washes were drying for me and offered to send their Tacet Hair and Body Wash meant for sensitive skin. 

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Pine & Co Body Wash is free from paraben, silicone, alcohol, triclosan, and colourant. 

All ingredients including surfactants used are 100% plant-based, gentler, and safer alternatives.

Tacet Hair & Body Wash is a tear-free prebiotic formulation that is vitamin-rich, unscented and free from fragrance, paraben, silicone, alcohol, phenoxyethanol and triclosan.

Both types come in a 500ml clear soft plastic bottle with a pump dispenser which appeared to be the same for the 4 different variants I purchased as well as the gifted unscented version. 

Pine & Co Summer Body Wash, Pine & Co Autumn Body Wash and Pine & Co Spring Body Wash are from their Season body wash collection, and infused with black oats, olive extract, and soothing chamomile. Pine & Co Elizabeth Body Wash is from the Idylls body wash collection and infused with black oats, olive extract, soothing chamomile, pomegranate extract and lactic acid. 

The Summer Body Wash has a sweet, zesty and soothing fragrance, with a gel texture and the aroma is composed from a delightful fusion of sweet mandarin oranges and vibrant citrus flowers which breathes new life into your shower routine, while the calming essence of chamomile and nourishing touch of olive extract gently soothe your skin.

The Autumn Body Wash has a warm, woody and gentle aroma infused with Sandalwood and Cedar. It has a subtle powdery fragrance which isn't something I like. 

The Spring Body Wash has a Bergamot, Lotus, Lily and Patchouli subtle aroma which I enjoyed using every morning, for a calming perk-me-up. 

Elizabeth Body Wash has a refreshing Jasmine and Vanilla scent which I enjoyed using at the end of a work day, to lather all the worries away. 

Tacet Hair & Body Wash is unscented and has no fragrance as it is created for children and individuals with troubled skin. 

How To Use :

Rinse your body before lathering and wash off while avoiding unnecessary scrubbing. 

Performance and Ingredients

Pine & Co Body Wash is said to protect you from harmful germs while providing best hydration and nourishment benefits to your skin as it uses effective plant-based and non-toxic antibacterial ingredients that does not damage your skin.

With a gel texture, Pine & Co Summer Body Wash lathered well but was slightly drying since Day 1, so it isn't the perfect fit for me. Similarly, Pine & Co Autumn, Spring Body Wash and Elizabeth Body Wash were also drying since Day 1. 

The fragrance is pretty high up in the ingredient list so take note if you are sensitive to fragrance. 

Tacet Hair & Body Wash contains Portulaca Oleracea extract, Olive extract and Chamomile extract and is not drying on my skin which is much appreciated.

Conclusion

To conclude, Pine & Co Summer Body Wash has a sweet, zesty and soothing fragrance, with a gel texture that lathers well but has been drying since Day 1. The Autumn Body Wash has a powdery fragrance which I do not like, however I enjoyed using Spring Body Wash for its gentle and uplifting fragrance and Elizabeth Body Wash for its refreshing fragrance. They had a similar gel texture that lathers well but are also drying since the day I started using it. 

Tacet Hair & Body Wash is unscented and has no fragrance with a similar gel texture that lathers well like the regular ones but is never drying.

3) Use 2-3 times a week for best results.

To conclude, Palmer Cocoa Body Scrub is a creamy and gentle cocoa body scrub which is never abrasive on the body yet left my skin slightly smoother and softer. It is perfect for those with sensitive skin but may not be the one for those who prefer a more abrasive type of body scrub.

Despite the name "coconut milk", don't expect dead sea salt being soaked in coconut milk, they are moist dead sea salt ( with coconut milk ) to provide just enough exfoliation without being too dry and coarse for the skin. They might be too harsh for my face, so I am just using it for the body.

The body scrub made my body felt soft, clean and smooth and there's isn't an additional layer of film on skin unlike some other body scrubs.

I came across some good reviews on their regular sunscreen on Instagram but it didn't work out for me when I managed to get a sample sachet of it. However, I decided to give their sunscreen spray a chance and purchased it in Guardian, when there was a sale. 

Finding the perfect sunscreen can be a challenge, and the ISDIN Transparent Spray Wet Skin promises convenience and effective sun protection. However, my experience with this product revealed some noteworthy concerns.

So far, I have tried out several of their products namely, EO French Lavender Body Polish, EO French Lavender Shower Gel, EO Eucalyptus and Arnica soothing Bubble Bath and EO Time Out Shower Gel.

EO is a family-owned certified B-corp. Products are cruelty-free, vegan and contain no synthetic fragrances or harmful chemicals.

EO Orange Blossom Vanilla Shower Gel combines the joyful appeal of clementine and orange pure essential oils, alongside floral neroli and creamy vanilla essence. You’ll feel like you’re reliving a favorite summer memory with one deep breath.

At 473ml, the shower gel dispenses easily via the pump dispenser. It has a gel texture and lathers beautifully. 

How To Use :

Generously apply to hands, lather up, and breathe in. Rinse and smile.

Performance and Ingredients

Give your skin something to believe in. The soothing touch of our organic herbal blend of aloe vera, calendula, chamomile, and white tea extracts works to calm the skin with the gentle touch of coconut cleansers. Fig and hop extracts serve as a comforting complex to deeply moisturize the body.

While I enjoyed most EO Shower Gels, but unfortunately, EO Orange Blossom & Vanilla Shower Gel was slightly drying for me since first use so I probably will not repurchase it. It smells great, lathers beautifully and I looked forward to using it in the morning for its uplifting Orange Blossom Vanilla scent.

[ Review ] Eco Love Carrot, Pumpkin & Sweet Potato Shower Gel

 

Product Description

Eco Love Carrot, Pumpkin & Sweet Potato Shower Gel is made with organic orange vegetable extracts from carrots, pumpkins & sweet potatoes and enriched with Dead Sea water.

Always on the search for new shower gels, I was intrigued enough by the interesting ingredients in Eco Love Carrot, Pumpkin & Sweet Potato Shower Gel to purchase it on Iherb. I didn't quite like my previous shower gel - Jowae Revitalizing Moisturizing Shower Gel so I was hoping that this will fare better, unfortunately, it isn't. 

Hailing from USA, Eco Love worked on a minimum of 95% ingredients from natural sources, with a minimum of 30% certified organic ingredients, and is fully vegan. 

Their products are made of organic vegetable extracts which are free of harmful chemicals, as well as 

Dead Sea Salt and Dead Sea Water which are rich in 26 minerals. The organic aloe vera has a soothing effect while organic olive oil worked great as an antioxidant lubricant and cleanser. Shea Butter has  moisturizing and softening properties.

The 500ml bottle size was a good body wash size and the illustrations on the bottle were uplifting and joyful. I enjoyed the light scent as well as the light suds however, it was drying since Day 1 so it wasn't the perfect fit for me.

EO ( which stands for Essential Oils ) is one of my favourite brands from Iherb and I have tried out several of their shower gels namely, EO French Lavender Shower Gel, EO Eucalyptus and Arnica soothing Bubble Bath and EO Time Out Shower Gel.

Made in USA, EO products use safe, natural, organic and sustainably-farmed ingredients 

After using up 2 tubs of Fizzy Fern Espresso Body Scrub, it is time to look out for another body scrub, and EO French Lavender Body Polish caught my attention. Unfortunately, it is no longer available on Iherb. 

Packaging, Scent and Texture

EO French Lavender Body Polish is a 177ml tube product. It has a lovely and soothing french lavender scent which I adore and the creamy exfoliator is never abrasive on skin.

How To Use : 

1) Gently massage onto body in the shower

2) Leave on for 1-2 minutes as you inhale the aroma of pure essential oils. 

3) Rinse thoroughly. 

Tip : Use 3x per week for optimal results. 

Performance and Ingredients

This luxurious cream exfoliator gently polishes away dull, dry skin with skin-refining blueberry seed powder and exfoliating pineapple enzymes. Coconut oil and mango seed butter lock in moisture, revealing velvety smooth, nourished skin that is soft to the touch and radiant. 

I enjoyed using EO French Lavender Body Polish with its soothing lavender scent and non-abrasive creamy contents that left my body soft and smooth, however strangely, when contents are nearing to the end, I noticed ants milling around the cap. The product was placed in my bathroom then.

[ Review ] Jowae Revitalizing Moisturizing Shower Gel

 

Product Description

Its a real pleasure to feel water running over your skin after a hard day with this shower gel based on hibiscus, Koreas iconic flower, for a deep feeling of relaxation. Its fragrance reveals aromas of exhilarating freesia, orchid and pink cedar. The skin also takes full advantage through replenishing and relaxing hibiscus and antioxidant Lumiphenols, Jowas patented* signature active ingredient.

I purchased several Jowae products from Robinsons late last year and emptied Jowae Soothing Cleansing Milk and Jowae Stimulating Moisturizing Shower Gel so far. 

Jowae Revitalizing Moisturizing Shower Gel is my second shower gel from the brand.

Packaging, Scent and Texture 

Jowae Revitalizing Moisturizing Shower Gel is a 400ml product housed in a plastic tall bottle with a flick top cap. Its perfume, with notes of relaxing hibiscus, leaves the skin delicately scented. The gel texture is clear in colour. 

How To Use :

1) Rinse the skin with water. Apply the product while performing gentle circular movements. 

2) Continue until emulsified. Apply morning and evening.

Performance and Ingredients

Jowaé revitalizing moisturizing shower gel bamboo is a bath care that gently cleanses while respecting the skin’s balance. Thanks to its physiological pH formula and its washing base of natural biodegradable origin, it is suitable for all skin types. Including the most sensitive skin.

Formulated with antioxidant Lumiphenols and Bamboo water, this shower gel contains 95% components of natural origin.

Light and gentle, Jowae Revitalizing Moisturizing Shower Gel suds up easily and lathers well, unfortunately, after using 1/4 of the contents, it started to get drying on skin. 

Similarly to Jowae Stimulating Moisturizing Shower Gel, the gel texture seemed to glide on the surface of skin and doesn't provide a good showering experience. While it left skin soft and smooth, the drying effect isn't what I am looking for, in a shower gel. 

The key ingredients are ....

Lumiphenols : Thanks to its antioxidant content, it helps the skin to rebalance itself while protecting it against daily aggressions.

Bamboo water : As the premium ingredient in this formula,  it is rich in essential vitamins and amino acids with highly moisturizing benefits. In this sense, this active will perform a moisturizing, emollient, and even regenerating action.  

Glycerin : Moisturizing, provides protection and softness to the skin while preserving its elasticity.

Conclusion

To conclude, Jowae Revitalizing Moisturizing Shower Gel isn't the best fit for me, as it is drying even though it lathers and foams well. I also didn't like how it appears to glide over the body rather than doing a thorough cleansing job, hence it won't be a repurchase.

[ Review ] The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel

 

Product Description

Get that beautiful body feeling refreshed and squeaky-clean with our foamy Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel. Now Vegan Society certified and made with 92% ingredients of natural origin including grapefruit extract and Community Fair Trade organic aloe vera from Mexico, our hardworking Shower Gel helps leave skin feeling soft. The sharp and sweet notes of this fragrance are like slicing a big, juicy grapefruit in half and leave you smelling citrusy.

I received a trio of shower gels from a friend during last Christmas and brought along the 60ml travel-friendly shower gel to my recent Royal Carribean Spectrum of the Seas cruise. My last product from the brand was The Body Shop Winter Jasmine Shower Gel.

Packaging, Scent and Texture 

The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel is housed in a 60ml clear plastic bottle with pretty illustrations of grapefruits. It has a flick-top cap for easy dispensing, however I found the cap to be pretty tight and was not easy to be "flick" open. The pink gel texture lathers well. 

How To Use : 

1. Lather up into a thick foam.

2. Slather all over damp skin.

3. Rinse.

Performance and Ingredients

I was glad to have brought this shower gel on my cruise. AM shower needs to help you wake up and go-go-go, and The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel indeed helps to wake up the senses with the zest and zing of pink grapefruit. 

Suitable for all skin types, it lathers up a treat, transforming from a light gel texture into a rich bubbly foam, leaving skin feeling soft, cleansed and refreshed.

I love the citrus scent with its zingy and refreshing aroma which was such a joy to breathe in during my morning showers on cruise and back home, however it contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate which can be drying for the long term. 

That said, you will be happy to know that the bottle is recyclable and made from 100% recycled plastic and that 92% ingredients comes from natural origin.

The key ingredients are....

Community Fair Trade Organic Aloe Vera : Ultra-gentle and soothing on skin, aloe vera is perfect for the sensitive skin range. It’s a naturally hardy plant. The aloe vera leaves are harvested and filleted by hand within 6 hours, which preserves the freshness and makes sure the aloe is the highest possible quality. The Body Shop source the organic aloe vera from Campeche in south-east Mexico. 

Pink Grapefruit Seed Oil : Squish grapefruit seeds for their essential oil to add to their zingy, sweet and citrusy-smelling products.

To conclude, The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel with its zesty citrus fragrance and pink gel texture that lathers well gives rise to a good showering experience, however it contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate which can be drying for the long term.
