As someone who wears sunscreen daily, a good cleansing oil is a staple in my skincare routine. A cleansing oil should effectively remove makeup and sunscreen while leaving the skin comfortable and balanced.

My experience with Make P:rem products has been a mixed bag. I enjoyed using Make P:rem UV Defense Me Daily Sun Essence, but Make P:rem Safe Me. Relief Moisture Cleansing Milk did not work as well for me. 

Prior to this, I was using the L:A Bruket 276 Essential Cleansing Oil, which I adored. Naturally, I was curious to see how the Make P Safe Me Relief Moisture Cleansing Oil would compare.

I purchased Make P:rem Safe Me Relief Moisture Cleansing Oil during my trip to Korea. The 210ml pump bottle came with a complimentary 100ml refill sachet, making it excellent value for money.

I absolutely loved Make P:rem UV Defense Me. Daily Sun Essence so when I chanced upon Make P:rem Safe Me. Relief Moisture Cleansing Milk in Seoul, I purchased it immediately. 

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Make P:rem Safe Me. Relief Moisture Cleansing Milk is a housed in a white sturdy 200ml pump bottle. It has a light milky emulsion texture with no fragrance. 

How To Use : 

1-2 pumps into dry hands. Wet hands and continue massaging to create a light, milky emulsion.

Performance and Ingredients

I like milky cleansers as my 2nd cleanse and is always on the search for new ones to add to my collection. Make P:rem Safe Me. Relief Moisture Cleansing Milk With has a patented formula Derma-Cleara, which contains soybean protein to instantly soothes sensitive skin.

It has a pH of 5.0~6.0 and is cruelty free and formulated without artificial fragrances, parabens, artificial colors, alcohol, mineral oils, or silicone.

It lathers and foams much better than other milky cleansers which may also explain why it can get slightly drying for my skin type. 

It left palms slightly drying after rinsing off and my skin has a subtle taut sensation after cleansing, although, overall, the cleanser left my face soft, clean and smooth.

Bergamot Oil : Soothes skin irritations, minimizes the look of scars and other marks on the skin

Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Flower Extract : Has hydrating properties that prevents dryness and roughness while also promoting skin elasticity to help reduce wrinkles

Ceramide NP : Prevents skin dehydration and improves the skin barrier function, which helps keep harmful environmental irritants out

Vitamin E (Tocopherol) : Prevents UV-induced free radical damage to skin

Conclusion

To conclude, Make P:rem Safe Me. Relief Moisture Cleansing Milk has a light milky emulsion texture which lathers and foams slightly better than other milky cleansers but unfortunately, it left a taut sensation on my skin after rinsing off, hence its not something I would repurchase. 

Some of my favourite milk cleansers are Andalou Naturals Apricot Probiotic Cleansing Milk, Sioris Cleanse Me Softly Milk Cleanser, The Organic Pharmacy Rose & Chamomile Cleansing Milk and Muji Mild Milk Cleansing.

Organic sunscreen offers ample moisturizing and soothing effects with fructan and City-Proof Complex (containing moringa seed extract). The lightweight formula in a lotion texture absorbs well into skin without leaving a white cast. Hypoallergenic product feels natural and comfortable on skin after application.

Make P:rem products aren't widely reviewed unlike other brands but since I have tried Make P:rem Poncirus Trifoliata C Dark Spot Serum and Make P:rem Comfort Me Air Mask before, it wasn't foreign to me and I went ahead to purchase Make P:rem UV Defense Me Daily Sun Essence after reading a positive review of it on Instagram. 

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Make P:rem UV Defense Me Daily Sun Essence is housed in a 50ml tube with a minimalistic vibe. It has a unique floral scent while the lotion texture is unbelievably lightweight with a subtle dewiness.

Chanced upon Make P:rem Comfort Me Air Mask when I was in Korea so I decided to purchase one sheet to try. I was hoping to check out their sunscreens but unfortunately, I didn't manage to find it.

Make P:rem Comfort Me Air Mask has a strong perfum-y scent once pulled out from its packaging and lingers throughout the masking session.. The material is thin and very light like air, making one feel that you have forgotten that you are wearing a mask.

Due to the thin material, the adherence is very good. It has a good cutting with slight excess cloth near to the jaws. There was no drippy messiness. It felt very soothing and relaxing.

After a 20 minute masking session, my skin was visibly calmed, smoother and hydrated.

In terms of ingredients, Make P:rem Comfort Me Air Mask uses amazing ingredients like Nordic Berry and Ceramide to hydrate skin, oxygen to help purify skin and chamomile to calm skin. It is said that from the oxygen, the skin will experience mild air therapy to help gently remove dead skin cells and moisturize the skin without irritating it.
