Product Description
Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen Stick SPF 40 is a travel-friendly SPF stick with a weightless, colorless and scentless formula that delivers effortless sun protection. It glides on smoothly and leaves behind a natural finish with zero white cast that’s ideal for all skin types and tones.
WHERE TO BUY : Amazon
I love sunscreen sticks for their convenience and the extra layer of sun protection they offer throughout the day. They make sunscreen reapplication on the go so much easier, without the mess of squeezing out a lotion or getting product all over my hands.
I purchased the Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen Stick from Sephora during a sale, following my previous empties, the Abib Quick Sunstick SPF50+ and Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Dew Balm SPF 30.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen Stick comes in a compact, round 20g format, making it easy to carry around for sunscreen reapplication throughout the day. It features a user-friendly twist-up mechanism that allows me to dispense the product easily, along with a secure lid ( alittle too tight for my likes ) that helps keep the stick covered when not in use.
The solid stick format is convenient for quick application, particularly over larger areas such as the arms and neck. Its texture glides smoothly across the skin, allowing me to spread the product without much effort.
As for the scent, the sunscreen has a distinct sunscreen-like smell. It is noticeable during application, so those who are sensitive to sunscreen scents may want to take this into consideration.
How To Use :
1) Remove the cap and discard the plastic disc, then twist the base to expose the stick.
2) Swipe generously and evenly across face and body, with no need to rub in.
3) Reapply through the day as needed, outdoors or at the beach.
Performance and Ingredients
According to the brand, Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen Stick brings the benefits of its bestselling Unseen Sunscreen into a convenient, portable stick format. Its velvety formula is designed to help minimise the appearance of oil and shine while providing sun protection without a white cast. It is also formulated to glide over makeup with minimal transfer, making it convenient for topping up sun protection throughout the day without having to rub the product in extensively.
One thing I particularly appreciate aboutSupergoop! Unseen Sunscreen Stick is the broad, easy-to-use format. The stick glides quickly over larger areas of skin, such as the arms and neck, making application and reapplication fuss-free.
Although I originally purchased the Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen Stick for my face, I found the finish too greasy and shiny for my personal preference. Instead of using it as my go-to facial sunscreen, I prefer to use it on my arms and neck on most days. This is especially relevant for me because I have combination skin and dislike an oily, shiny finish on my face.
Conclusion
To conclude, Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen Stick SPF 40 may be a convenient option for sunscreen reapplication on the go, as I appreciate how quickly I can apply it over larger areas, such as my arms and neck, without getting sunscreen all over my hands.
However, despite the brand's claim of a velvety, shine-reducing finish, I found it too greasy and shiny for my combination skin, especially when using it on my face hence I repurposed this sunscreen stick for my arms and neck rather than using it as my facial sunscreen.
