Review : Beauty Credit 8 Grains Mask

Product Description
Exfoliant with combined proteins, vitamins and minerals to detoxify and replace missing nutrients, leaving skin deeply nourished, moisturised and glowing.

Benefits :
  • Contains nutrients from 8 grain types (Wheat, Mung Beans, Adlay, Soy Bean, Barley, Rice Bran, Wholerice and Red bean).
  • Combination of proteins, vitamins and minerals to detoxify and replace missing nutrients.
  • Leaves skin deeply nourished, moisturised and glowing.

  • This product retails for $30+ more than a year ago but I purchased it at 50% off when there was a promotion. I read that someone can easily purchase it online for even lesser than that and probably cheaper if in Korea, I guess.

At 150ml, it has taken me ages to even make a dent in it and its not even effective on my skin. I thought it was a waste of my time and money on this poorly formulated product.

Housed in a round tub as above, it opens up to reveal the exfoliant in an unhygienic manner as bacteria gets in easily. The texture is creamy and is hardly abrasive on the skin. However it is so mild that I did not see any visible feel and improvement to my skin.

My skin feels the same with and without using it and I see no point in continuing using it anymore.

    April Quick Review

    1) Chanel Light Revealing Whitening Makeup Base SPF35/ PA+++

    Product Description
The fine pearl is the model of perfection and translucency that inspired the creation of the LE BLANC ritual.
The fresh and lightweight emulsion texture of the Bases is an ideal first layer for makeup and leaves the skin comfortable all day long. Combining light and color expertise, CHANEL recreates its must-have Bases. In their formula, the Pure White Mineral Ceramic Pigments target unbalanced skin undertones to reveal an immaculate radiance and a unified complexion.
Day after day, the Liquorice Extract regulates melanin production. The Pearl Protein Extract corrects dull and yellow-toned skins, illuminates and is known for its hydration property. The complexion is ready for a perfect application of LE BLANC foundations. An SPF 35 / PA +++ protects the skin from the damaging effects of the sun.

The sachet I owned, allowed me to use it for 4 times, 2 of which I cleansed it off immediately because it exacerbate the flakiness on my face badly. That said, I was having a bout of seborrheic dermatitis on an on-off basis during that period. It was considered at its healing stage when I used this base, howver, this make-up base accentuates all the flakiness. I cleansed it off and top up with a heavier moisturiser and everything appears fine.

There are 3 shades available in the market and 1 tube costs $81.
-The Rosée shade refreshes tired and dull complexions with a radiant dream glow.
-The Mimosa shade unifies uneven and shadowy complexions.
-The Lys shade brings an immaculate pearly glow to all complexions.

The Rosee shade that I owned, has a runny consistency with a slight greasy base. Touted to be oil-free and hydrating, I didn't really find it that moisturising on my skin. It brightens the skin slightly, giving me a soft dewy look. I looked fresher and more radiant!

    2) Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Cleansing Foam

    Product Description
A gentle purifying foam that effectively lifts away impurities and surface cells to help reduce melanin buildup and leave skin clean and bright. Gently prepare skin for the clarifying process and leaves it smooth, comfortable and hydrated

I used this 30ml product for 2 times only, thats why I categorized it into this Quick Review page. I don't like the super clean, squeaky feel on the hands, immediately after each wash. Its drying and very uncomfortable. However, I am surprised that my skin was fine, there was no tight feeling, redness or dry after-effects, which are what I usually experienced with cleansing foams.

Still, I rather be careful and refrain from using it much. It has a floral scent and has a mousse-like soft texture, that is pleasant to spread on the face as it lathers into a rich foam.

It scored 3.9 from 117 reviewers from Makeupalley

    3)  Review : Beauty Credit Brown Rice Mask

    Product Description
Washable mask made from natural germinated brown rice extracts, a popular skincare ingredient known to many Asian cultures. It is believed to contain many health benefits.

    Benefits:
Germinated Brown Rice Mask Pack is a nourishingly good exfoliator for rough, dull skin conditions.
It brings vibrancy and elasticity back to your skin. Contains anti-oxidants that slow skin aging.
Restores elasticity while allowing ingredients to better penetrate the skin. Leaves your skin radiant and smooth, all day long!

A sachet I owned has given me 3 usages but thats because I spread it too generously during my first usage. I thought it was meant to be a mask as what the name implies, so I spread it all over the face.
It leave my skin smooth and soft but thats also in conjunction with the Clarins scrub I was using prior to that. However the smoothness did not last beyond a day.

Since it is meant as a exfoliator, I decided to use it on its own, as a scrub by massaging it into the skin and as amask by leaving it on the skin for a while before cleansing it off.
My skin felt and looked cleaner and brighter but again, the effects did not last beyond a day. Totally disappointed.
This product is off-white in colour and lightly scented. It is a mild exfoliater as it is quite creamy with tiny bits in it, which reminded me of rice.

Review : Beauty Credit Aloe Eye Cream

    Product Description
An eye cream made from aloe and deep-sea water are effective moisturisers which make your skin soft and silky created for dry and sensitive skin types. Use it to protect and calm eyes prone to dryness. Apply to eye orbit area as desired.

This was bought in Korea, for a very affordable price. Since my undereye area is always dry, according to
make-up artistes, I bought this moisture eye cream, hoping well, it can be effective.
Personally, I always find eye products to be quite useless in alleviating my undereye area concerns but still, I am trying.

There is a slight aloe scent without being offensive. Even though its touted as a cream but the texture is lighter than most eye creams with a slight silicon feel. It leaves a subtle layer of stickiness without being tacky.
This 30ml size had me using it for more than 5 months without any visible improvment. I started off with using it in the night since it was a cream and moved on to using in the day, thereafter. There is no marked improvement to the hydration level to my undereye area. A never-ending quest for the perfect eye cream again.

    March Quick Review

Initial reviews on some of the sachets I have used recently. Due to the limited number of times used, its not enough for me to conduct a full review so its just some thoughts.

    1) Dermalogica Eye Make-up remover

An efficient, clean-rinsing make-up remover specially formulated to instantly dissolve all traces of eye and lip make-up, including stubborn mascara. Completely oil-free, alcohol-free and water soluble, this soothing. conditioning gel contains silk amino acids to help strengthen lashes and condition the delicate eye lid area

The 2 sachets I have, sadly only allowed me 1 usage on the eye make-up on 1 eye. I had mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadow on that day, and this gel manage to remove it gently without any irritation.

    2) Lilyth Cleansing Milk

Lilyth Cleansing Milk (Bouquet of Flowers) is a pleasant and creamy cleansing milk designed for regular cleaning of the facial skin. This gentle, non-aggressive cleansing milk removes make up and impurities while performing a softening and soothing action with its ...
Chamomile extract and pomegranate extract: a luxurious moisturizing agent which improves the skin hydration.
Edelweiss extract: prepare the skin to increase the transparency, and restores its freshness and cleanness.

Made in France, the complimentary sachet from Cosme-de provided me with 2 usages to remove my make-up over the weekend. Its gentle and glides easily on the face to remove most traces of make-up. Its quite a joy in using it. It may be more effective on light make-up. There is no irritation and there is no tight feeling after cleansing, however, I do find slight flakiness on the wings of my nose though there is no tingly, irritated sensation.

    3) Lilyth Mousse Comfort

Lilyth Mousse Comfort is the creamy cleansing mousse that is particularly suited for sensitive skin or prone to irritation.

The creamy, soft foam pampers the skin with its velvety texture, and plenty of water for washing off offers a fresh experience. It gently eliminates makeup and impurities, even eye make-up is gently and caringly removed without causing a burning sensation. And during cleansing, it enhances moisture levels and boosts skin elasticity.

The 1 sachet from Cosme-de was able to last several usages but I gave up after the first try. My sensitive skin is never suitable for foam type of cleansing as it is usually drying but I never gave up trying. It lathers well and while the skin does not experience any taut feeling but my hands do. It gave a squeaky-clean type of feeling which is quite drying. It cleanses off light make-up well ( BB cream and sunscreen ).

    4) Beauty Credit Fresh Kiwi Yoghurt Pack

Provides moisture and nutrients for tired skin from outdoor activities leaving skin smooth and healthy

I tried once and decided that its not for me. My skin become itchy after 10 mins on the face. After cleansing it off, my skin became slightly red. Definitely a no-no for me.

Review : Beauty Credit Honey and Black Sugar Mask

    Product Description
The concoction of honey and black sugar is excellent in treating exhausted and tired skin, and in bringing back the natural beauty of your skin. Regular use will reveal the layer of baby soft skin in hiding. Skin tone becomes clear and glowing just after one use! A must have mask pack!

I had 2 generous sized sachets from Korea, during one of my purchases, some time back and never really got started on it, till recently.
First of all, the scent is simple awesome. The mixture of honey and black sugar smells so delicious that it feels almost like some food. I wondered if ants would be attracted to such a sweet mixture.
I love the scent so much.

Even though the name of the product contains the word "mask" , I thought it was more of a scrub than a mask. Or maybe the correct word should be, its a deep cleansing mask. The texture of the light brown contents is sticky with some exfoliating beads in it. The weird thing is, I do not know how to use it. When I tried to use it on wet skin, the water proved to be too much for the mask, I cannot feel any exfoliating beads. When I tried to use it on a dry face, the exfoliating beads felt gruff against my delicate skin and its difficult to massage the beads.
Nowadays I just massaged in those exfoliating beads and leave it on the wet face for a few minutes then wash it off. My skin feels softer and slightly cleaner on the nose area but I thought the performance is just medicore, something which I can find in other products easily.

    Ingredients
Water, Glycerin, Mineral Oil, sucrose, Sorbitol, PEG-32, Petrolatum, Sucrose, Fatty Acid Ester, PEG-8, Silica, Cetyl Octanoate, Montmorillonite, Fragrance, Caramel, Methyl Paraben, Sodium Methyl Stearoyl Taurate, Manuka Honey / Glycern, Tocopheryl Acetate, Butyl Paraben, Xanthan Gum

Review : Danahan Hyoyong Yun Diamond B.B. Cream SPF 30 / PA++ (#23) Natural Beige

    Product Description
The First B.B. Cream with 0.1 Karat Diamonds!
Diamonds are believed to have positive yin energy that enhances skin naturally, reduces wrinkles and whitens your complexion.
Natural herbal elements, Yongyunboyangdan, instantly brighten the skin and help reduce the appearance of fine lines with 0.1 karat diamonds. Sunscreen protect the skin from UV rays, while a lightweight natural plant powder, Damhyangwhayeupbun, provides a long-lasting dewy finish.

I have been lucky enough to receive the sample while visiting the store during a Beauty Credit Xmas preview party. Each member will receive a free goodie bag during the party. A one-to-one sales promoter will be tagging along with each member, introducing her to the various promotions. I believe sales commissions were involved because I have been to 2 different parties and when I did not get anything, I was shown a black face by the promoter.

I bought something during the 2nd party. I also did not quite like the idea of having someone tagging behind my back, I just feel hard to breathe. Its irritating, knowing that the promoter is just after sales and not really sincere about helping me with my skincare concerns. And I do wish to have the freedom to browse at my own leisure.

Knowing that this BB cream contains diamonds, I was of course excited to try it. Diamonds are girls' best friends, isn't it? I am not that sure if  #23 is the only available shade but thats what I see on the web and is also what I have been provided. I managed to use for about 8 times from the sachet. And its definitely too short a time for me to determine its whitening effectiveness but from these usages, I do feel that its not the one for me.

There is a nice herbal scent but the texture is abit drying and slightly thicker than other BB creams. Coverage is more than sheer, ( I would rate it as medium coverage) good enough to cover light to medium blemishes. However, because of the texture, I do find it hard to spread and blend into the skin. It seems cakey and emphasise the flakiness on my skin.

Skin appears brighter and oil control is better than expected. In fact, I only need to blot once at the end of 6 hours, for my combination skin. Note that at the time of usage, I have some weird flakiness on certain areas on my face hence, my skin oiliness may be lesser than normal.
I am shocked that it costs a whopping $129.90 for this BB cream. Why would anyone spent that amount on a BB cream? In fact, I think it would be much cheaper in Korea.

Review : Beauty Credit Moisture Collagen Mask

    Product Description
    - Collagen strengthens and firms up skin, prevents aging
    - Reduces free radicals, slows skin degeneration and aging
    - Moisturizes as well as soothes inflamed or damaged skin.
    - 100% cotton hypoallergenic mask

I bought 5 sheets over in Korea last year and only managed to use it up this year, wanting to reserve it for a special occasion. I simply adore collagen masks, so is always leaving it for some special use. Perhaps due to my feel-good experience with Bioglo Collagen Mask, I feel happy to own collagen masks in my stash for any emergency use.

The sheet is thin, unlike most other Beauty Credit 100% cotton masks. It tears easily and is heavily soaked in essence, which has a heavy fragrance that can be overwhelming. The size is just slightly larger than my face but still fits well. It moisturises very well and gives a dewy glow to my skin.
However, because of the overwhelming fragrance, its not something I would get again.

Review : Beauty Credit Coenzyme Q10 Moisturizing Eye Mask

    Product Description
Somang Coenzyme Q10 Moisturizing Eye Mask is a hydrogel eye patch that contains Coenzyme Q10 and Gelatin to enhance the resilience and elasticity of dehydrated and non-elastic under-eye skin. After use, skin around eyes is regenerated and moisturized.

    Benefits :
    - Contains CoEnzyme Q10 anti-oxidants that fight against ageing.
    - Moisturizes and regenerate skin around the eye area
    - Effective eye repairer for delicate eye
    - Prevents puffiness; enhances eye-lift, hydrates eye contours
    - Diminishes wrinkles, swelling, dark circles and fatigue.

The benefits certainly sounds awesome, isn't it? A friend had helped to get it for me in Korea where its relatively much cheaper. Not knowing that there are 2 pairs in 1 packet, I had unknowingly threw away my first packet, with much heart pain, considering thats my money down the drain.

Each packet comes with a re-sealable tab, aka the ziplock type so its pretty convenient to just seal it back after use. Both pairs of eye patches are kept in a plastic tray, separated by a white film.
The whole packaging looks well thought-out and does not have the "cheapo" feeling, usually associated with other eye masks in the market. I remembered the price was not cheap in Korea too, so at least the packaging is pleasing to the eye.

After using 5 packets which consist of 10 pairs of eye masks, I realized its not suitable for me after all. It caused itchiness on my undereye area the whole time. Very uncomfortable.
The transparent hydrogel eye masks are slightly moist and refreshing cool. Texture is more to the slimy and slippery type, however it still adheres well to my undereye area as its slightly sticky.
There was no visible improvement on my undereye area but it did leave the area super smooth immediately after the treatment.

Review : Beauty Credit Red Wine Essential Cotton Mask

    Product Description
Red wine contains resveratrol and polyphenol, believed to be able to neutralise free radicals that attack healthy cells, and have anti-inflammatory properties.
It also contains skin-firming polyphenol helping the pore to maintain a healthy-lookingby deliveringmoisture deep inside and resilience to the outer skin.

Made of 100% cotton hypoallergenic mask, I bought 5 sheets when I was in Hong Kong for about $2 per piece. Much affordable than in Singapore.
As what the name implies, the sheet mask is heavily scented with red wine fragrance. Initially, I was hesitant in trying out this mask as I was told by a promoter before ( not from Beauty Credit) that red wine flavoured mask are usually not recommended for those with sensitive skin.

After using these sheet masks over the past 2 weeks, I am glad to say that I have not developed any allergies or breakouts from it. The fragrance is abit too strong for me though. I also did not notice any significant difference to my skin when I used it too. No firming, no radiance.

Review : Beauty Credit Brightening Arbutin Sheet Mask

    Product Descripion

Arbutin, extracted from bearberries, is able to prevent the formation of melanin, which causes freckles and uneven skin pigmentation. A natural skin-lightening agent, it also moisturizes as it whitens skin. Made of 100% cotton hypoallergenic mask

Bought 5 sheets from this range while in Korea. I have always been a big fan of Beauty Credit masks as its made of superior 100% cotton sheet masks and able to deliver as what it promises.
There is a scent but not sure what it is, however once layered on the face, the scent is quite light, so its not much of a concern.
It feels tingly refreshing and hydrating on the face but hydrating ability is not exactly very high if compared to its Ceramide Mask. I believe its sufficient for those who do not have dehydrated skin. There is a subtle brightening effect on the face but its not that obvious.
Its difficult to think that a mask can help to prevent the formation of melanin as one needs lots of masks to maintain the effect, isn't it?

Review : Beauty Credit Isoflavon Essential Cotton Mask

    Benefits :
    - Isoflavones, a type of antioxidant polyphenol found in beans

    - Reduces free radicals, slows skin degeneration and aging
    - Has cancer-preventative properties
    - 100% cotton hypoallergenic mask

I have used up the 3 sheets for the past 1.5 weeks and it has certainly provide some needed hydration to my skin. However, do note that it does contain alcohol and fragrance which may not be welcomed for some people.
Fragrance in skincare products are actually quite unnecessary but I do know of some beauty bloggers who loved fragranced products in their skincare.

There is a slight scent but nothing too overpowering. The 100% cotton sheet mask is thick and comfortableIt fits perfectly on my face. However, after each mask treatment, my face does feel sticky to the touch and I usually cleanse it with water.
Skin feels soft and supple thereafter.

Review : Beauty Credit Red Ginseng Oriental Herb Cotton Mask

    Product Description
Red ginseng extracts deliver resilience and radiance to the skin while the mask sheet made of cotton, which has excellent permeability and moisturization, carries the nutrients deep into the skin and allows your skin to breathe.

    - Trusted Asian ingredient with natural antioxidants that reduces free radicals
    - Cleanses, moisturises and protects your skin
    - Promotes better blood circulation
    - 100% cotton hypoallergenic mask

I only bought 1 sheet to try it out.
With a slight whiff of ginseng scent mixed with some oriental herbs, it gives the mask an overall herbal scent. As with all Beauty Credit masks, the material is made of 100% cotton, thick enough to be soaked in essence and layered on the face.
The cut-out area is just alright for my face, with a slightly larger nose flap. I did not really see any obvious radiance or glow to my face. And I also do feel that the hydrating ability is just not enough for those with  dehydrated skin.

Review on Beauty Credit Milk Skin and Emulsion

    Product Description (Emulsion)
The milk extracts containing plenty of essential amino acid and vitamins can properly supply the moisture and oil that can be easily lost and prevent the skin from drying and corneous tissue from accumulated.

The emulsion forms a protective layer to block all the environment damages from the skin. Milk is mild and gentle to skin which gives you one of the best moisturizing effect, it also calm inflammation and stressed skin. Vitamin E and honey extract softly covers the skin and keep skin moisten, making your skin soft and radiant like a baby everyday

Receiving this miniature set from Korea when I was topping up my supply of Beauty Credit masks ( I am a big fan of Beauty Credit facial sheet masks ), I finally have a chance to try this out for the past 2 weeks.
Needless to say, the toner which is the milk skin used up quite fast so I was left with the emulsion which is the moisturiser.

Both exude a sweet baby milk fragrance and even though its supposed to be very nice, but somehow I was overwhelmed by the strong fragrance during my initial usage.
The toner is a murky greyish lotion whose consistency is thicker than the normal liquid toner but I see no difference on my face before and after use so perhaps the sample size is just too small.

The emulsion texture is thicker than gel but lighter than a cream hence falling inbetween a gel and a cream. I felt that the hydrating factor is pretty poor so I would recommend this for those with normal skin type to act as a light moisturiser.

Its not suitable for my skin type so I would not get this again.

Review on Beauty Credit Banana Milk Sheet Mask

    Product Description
    - Rich in Vitamin A from banana extracts.
    - Milk helps to exfoliate, whiten and moisturise skin to reduce lines and wrinkles
    - Has the same desired effect as a bottle of Essence.

I am a big fan of Beauty Credit sheet masks and that was after I have tried out Skin Food, The Face Shop and Beauty Credit masks for the past 2 years. Skin Food facial sheet masks has too much fragrance while The Face Shop sheet masks gives me zits after every use.
Beauty Credit masks gives me good results and I am sticking to it but then again not all their masks are suitable for me so thats why my review is here, to serve as a reminder for myself and perhaps just to help you along with your next purchase.

Similar to its Strawberry mask, it smells yummy when I first took out from the packaging but when I laid it on the face, there is a weird smell which was mixed in with this banana scent. Its hard for me to describe the scent but its not that terrible, just not the kind I was expecting it to be associated with my favourite Beauty Credit masks.
Its moist and is good enough as a daily maintenance for the face. Providing just the right amount of moisture to my skin, I love soaking in the essence of the mask during each treatment.

After using 3 sheets over the week, I hardly see any visible whitening improvement but my skin does feel much better. Plump with moisture.
A pity about the smell though.

Review on Beauty Credit Milk Sheet Mask

    Product Description
Milk has been used to exfoliate, whiten and nourish the skin since the days of Cleopatra. It also helps in  diminishing wrinkles and photoaging.
Rich nutritive elements including milk extract and squalene with excellent moisturising keeps skin moist, bright and elastic.
1 sheet has a the desired effect as a bottle of essence.

Made of 100% cotton, the scent of this milk sheet mask reminds me strongly of milk powder which I took when I was young. Initially, the scent may be abit overwhelming but it soon become the last thing on my mind as my skin gets soaked in the moisture, giving an almost radiant and rested look to my face after each treatment.

I have always believed in the goodness of milk and I am glad that this mask lived up to its expectation.
It provides much needed moisture to my skin. If only I can see whitening efficacy on my face, that would be most perfect!
I will definitely stock up on this mask.

Review on Beauty Credit Strawberry Milk Sheet Mask

    Product Description
Strawberries are popularly used as exfoliant and anti-aging remedy for skin since the French Revolution.
It is rich in Vitamin C and gives your skin immediate radiance

In this strawberry milk sheet mask, its filled with various nutritive elements including rich vitamin C of strawberry extracts and excellent moisturising milk extracts to keep the skin moist.
1 sheet has the desirable effects of 1 bottle of essence.
I am a big fan of Beauty Credit masks but it seems like I hardly can find like-minded beauty junkies with a soft spot for their masks.
All their sheet masks are made of 100% cotton which is pretty soft on the skin.

The scent is of course strawberry but it seems that its also mixed with something else which gave it a weird strawberry scent, nothing smelly but its not as "edible-delicious" strawberry scent as I thought it would be.
The cut out area on the nose is pretty small and so, it did not manage to cover my whole nose area.
Wet with essence, it gave me the feeling of feeding my skin with much moisture but in actual fact, the moisture is not alot. For people with normal skin, this mask works pretty fine but not to me, as I prefer those with deep hydration factor.

After each treatment, I do notice a very slight dewy glow on my skin.

Review on Beauty Credit Hyaluronic Acid Cotton Mask

I stocked up on quite a number of this mask when I was in Hong Kong because its such a steal at just $2 per piece.
Thereafter, I stocked up more of these masks when I was in Korea. It was even cheaper than $2.

Hyaluronic acid, a natural moisturizing factor, maintains the even level of moisture in the skin.
The highly concentrated ultra moisturizing essential cotton sheet mask protects the moisture in the skin as well as supply nutrients deep into the skin to prevent dryness and roughness.

If you are still in the dark about what Hyaluronic Acid is all about, read my previous post.

    Its claims :
    - Hyaluronic acid helps reduce wrinkles and fine lines

    - Concentrated moisturising factor helps maintain moisture and nutrients in your skin
    - 100% cotton hypoallergenic mask

This lightly blue tinted cotton sheet is soaked with its essence and is hydrating to the skin.
However, compared with its Ceramide Mask, I will actually prefer the latter.

After each treatment, my skin feels plumped and rested but I need to use it quite regularly to reap its benefits.
With Ceramide Mask, I feel the after-effects immediately.

There is light scent which reminded me of the sea breeze and if accompanied with some soothing music in the background, its actually quite a relaxing treat.

If given a choice, I will stock up more on the Ceramide Mask than Hyaluronic Acid Cotton Mask.

Review on Beauty Credit Orange C Cotton Mask

I picked this up from Hong Kong Sasa at just $2 per sheet which is quite affordable. Beauty Credit facial masks in Singapore is usually selling at double the price or more.
However, upon returned back to Singapore, I realized that this mask is actually not available locally.

There were no English description on the mask itself ( in Korean only )but since it contains orange extracts, I am guessing that it is meant for the purpose of brightening effect.

With orange scented cotton mask, its quite a refreshing scent. There is a tinge of orange colour in the 100% cotton mask.

However, I did not see any spectacular effect after using this twice a week. I giuess I will not be buying this again.

    Ingredients :

Review on Beauty Credit Nutritive Royal Jelly Mask

Give yourself a royal treatment with this moisturising mask!

    - Nourishes as well as soothes inflamed or damaged skin.
    - Made of 100% cotton.
    - Prevents skin irritation.

One of my favourite brand for facial sheet masks, I picked this up during my Korea trip earlier this month. Since Royal Jelly is known for being beneficial for skin, I decided to give this a try.
I did not buy alot since I have never use it before.

As with all Beauty Credit sheet masks, it is folded and kept in a transparent plastic tray inside when you first tear open the packaging.

Sad to say, I think this mask is too rich for my skin. I broke out with several small zits at the chin the next day. In fact, my chin have always been the first area to breakout easily, so I guess I will give this mask a miss.

My face did feel smoother and softer after the mask session but the royal jelly scent may be a bit too much for me.

Review on Beauty Credit Waterful Ceramide Mask

Anything with the word "water" is bound to attract me. "Water-based" products, products that claim to be able to moisturise the skin, products with ceramide or hyaluronic acid are examples of products which will have me forking out money to get them.

Why? Because I truly believe hydration is the most important function of the skin. If your skin is hydrated, then you can start caring for your skin in other aspects such as whitening and anti-aging but if your skin is dry, then all the whitening and anti-aging products have to take a backseat.
Once your skin is dry, like what most ladies in the older age group are facing now, all the fine lines will be very much obvious on the skin. Make-up will not be able to stay well, much less able to conceal well. Flakiness on the skin will start to show. One will look so much older than their real age.

Ceramide is a natural ingredient in the human skin that is critical to the skin's good health and youthful appearance. As we age, skin begins to experience a natural loss of ceramide, making it more vulnerable to the signs of aging.

And this is what the mask does.

    - Ceramides: one of 3 types of lipids, or fats, that help keep moisture in the skin.
    - Helps treat eczema and dry skin.

I love Beauty Credit sheet masks because the size of the cotton mask fits my face perfectly and its made of 100% cotton.
The 100% cotton feels very sturdy yet soft on the skin. The cut-out areas are not too big or too small and fits perfectly on my face.

There is not much of a scent for this mask and its a bonus point for me.
My face stay well hydrated and moist right after the mask is taken off.
My skin immediately feels plumped up and skin no longer looks that dull.

Give this a try if your skin needs to stay hydrated like mine.
