Heimish reached out to me last month for a collaboration in return for honest reviews. The brand has been on my wish list for a while so I was excited to try them out. These were what I had selected - Heimish All Clean Balm, All Clean Vitamin Blemish Spot Clear Cream and Black Tea Mask Pack based on my current concerns and needs.
Launched in 2016, Heimish focuses primarily on makeup in neutral shades suitable for everyday wear. The brand's range of colors and attractive packaging appeal to the modern woman who want a refreshing yet natural look. All heimish products are cruelty-free, made without parabens and manufactured in Korea.
Heimish All Clean Balm is a 3-in-1 make-up remover that easily takes down thick make-up, impurities, and other excess that has been layered throughout the day. It is perfect for days where you just want to cleanse your face all in one step and there is no need to double cleanse. This product is 100% vegan-free and cruelty-free.
Benefits :
✔ Quickly dissolves into oil when in contact with skin and removes make-up (especially waterproof), dirt, sunscreen
✔ Washes off easily with water without leaving any residue
✔ Convenient mini spoon included to help scoop clean and adequate usage
✔ Gently cleanses the face without removing any skin layers
✔ Clears up any blackheads and clogged pores
✔ Contains a mild herbal fragrance that does not linger on the skin
I have a soft spot for cleansing balms and have tried those from Three, Kat Burki, Banila Co and Clinique. My most recent collection includes the popular Heimish All Clean Balm, which has received rave reviews online.
The illustrations on the box is so pretty where the same leaf prints are also found on the 120ml plastic tub.
And when I first received the product, I was awed by Heimish's thoughtful consideration in its packaging where the flip-top cap opened up with a single touch, revealing a spatula on its lid and then to the contents.
I love it when brands are always thinking of how to make it better for the consumers, just like how its so easy to open up this tub with a spatula in its place, so that I don't have to look for my own spatula or use my fingers to dip in it ( possibility of water and bacteria contamination ).
The balm-like texture is such a pure white colour that I almost thought its the second lid. HAHA!
I scoop up the balm gently with the provided spatula and smear it on my palms before I massage it on dry skin. The balm changes to an oil cleanser upon contact with water to cleanse thick makeup without tugging or dehydrating skin and provides deep cleansing to remove dirt. It has a sweet citrus-like scent which has a calming and soothing vibe.
I can also use it around the eyes without any irritation and it was able to remove eyeliner and mascara well. Clean, soft, smooth and hydrated skin! On top of it, I also get to save on cotton pads. Definitely impressed with the product. Love this so much!
If you are a fan of cleansing balms, go get this! You won't regret your purchase! This product is also featured in my Top 21 Beauty Empties I Loved in 2021.
Heimish All Clean Balm (Mandarin) |
I have also tried the latest Heimish All Clean Balm (Mandarin) but it wasn't as awesome as the original variant. Formulated with fresh mandarin oil and extracts to keep skin clear and revitalized while papaya extracts clear pores and moringa ceramides purify and hydrate skin, the All Clean Balm (Mandarin) has a subtle citrus-mandarin scent and almost similar sherbet type balm texture that cleanses off makeup and sunscreen.
However, it takes more effort and several tries for removing waterproof mascara. Overall, it does left skin soft and pores clean but I still prefer the original variant with its softer texture.

If you have freckles and blemishes, then Heimish Vitamin Blemish Spot Clear Cream might be a product that you can consider. Lets delve down to see what it does...
The green plum illustrations on the box packaging speaks to me, because its just so pretty. However, the 60ml tub of cream is nothing like the box, instead, it is a simple round jar with beige creamy contents.
The Spot Clear Cream has a buttery formula with a subtle lovely citrus scent. The texture is slightly heavy and sticky and took awhile to absorb into skin. While I am usually not a fan of such buttery textures because of my combination skin and the humid weather, I was surprised that I can use this moisturiser twice a day without any breakouts, instead it left my skin soft and smooth and helped heal new blemishes by speeding up the recovery process.
That said, the cream does left my T-zone alittle shiny, as expected for my combination skin type, but it is still acceptable. Adding on, this is more moisturising ( than hydrating ) so it may suit dry skin ( lack of oil in skin ) better than dehydrated skin ( lack of water in skin ). My skin was instantly brighter on first use but thereafter, I didn't see much brightening effects. I will continue to use it, for better brightening results, before deciding if I would repurchase it.
Overall, I like Heimish Vitamin Blemish Spot Clear Cream as a moisturizer for soft and smooth skin as well as being able to speed up the recovery process for new zits. However, for my combination skin with dehydrated surface, a hydrating moisturizer is more suitable than a moisturizing one, so this wasn't the best fit although it can still fit into my routine.
This product contains alcohol and fragrance so if you are sensitive to them, do take note.
The key ingredients are....
Terminalia Ferdinandiana Fruit Extract : Also known as Kakadu Plum, it contains the world’s highest level of vitamin C, which helps to protect and support the skin cells, reduces inflammation, strengthens and lessens hyper-pigmentation. The added benefits of Ellagic acid and Gallic acid in the Kakadu Plum encourage collagen production and skin repair and help reduce inflammation, making the Kakadu Plum a star anti-ageing ingredient.
Niacinamide : Also known as vitamin B3 and nicotinamide, niacinamide is a water-soluble vitamin that works with the natural substances in your skin to help visibly improve enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles, dullness and a weakened surface. Niacinamide also reduces the impact of environmental damage because of its ability to improve skin’s barrier (its first line of defense), plus it also plays a role in helping skin to repair signs of past damage.

Infused with Black Tea, Aloe and Centella Asiatica, this mask delivers a quick 5-minute treatment to relieve dry or fatigued skin, while supplying moisture and nutrients for a healthier complexion. With its cooling effect and the fresh scent of cedarwood, it is the perfect morning treat for swollen face or skin.

✔ Supply moisture and nutrition to make skin healthier
✔ Provides pore tightening and skin elasticity
How To Use :
1) Gently apply product all over dry face, except eye area after cleansing
2) Wash if off with lukewarm water after 5 - 10 minutes
In a bid to be more eco-friendly, I have been looking to add on more rinse-off masks ( instead of sheet masks ) to my collection and the popular Heimish Black Tea Mask Pack comes to mind.
At first glance, Heimish Black Tea Mask Pack reminded me vaguely of Fresh Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask with its name, whipped-like texture and cooling sensation but the comparison ends there. Lets delve down to see what the mask offers...
As with most Heimish products, this comes in a pretty box with tribal-like prints. In the box, is a 110ml amber coloured round plastic jar ( with a free spatula enclosed on the lid ) that gives off a chic apothecary vibe.
Light beige in colour, Black Tea Mask Pack smells like cedarwood which was slightly stronger than I preferred. It has a whipped-like airy texture with a smooth consistency that spreads easily on face.
Upon application, it has a minty and cooling sensation which is a welcome respite in humid weather like Singapore. Unfortunately, it has a taut sensation on the upper lips, barely 3 minutes into the masking session. Thankfully, after rinsing it off once 10 minutes is up, my skin looked brighter, healthier, less fatigued and felt softer and smoother. Pores were smaller too.
Overall, while I enjoyed using Heimish Black Tea Mask Pack for brighter, healthier skin that felt soft and smooth, I didn't fancy the taut sensation on the upper lips as well as the strong fragrance.
The key ingredients are.....
Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Black Tea) : which is known for its antibacterial properties
Litchi Chinensis Fruit Extract : An antioxidant-rich ingredient that protects the skin from free radicals
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water : Delivers deep moisture, soothes redness and skin irritation
Centella Asiatica Extract : Also known as tiger grass, it contains soothing and healing properties
