Dermalogica Skin Perfect Primer SPF30 is a 3 in 1 that primes the skin for makeup, protect it from sun damage and treats skin aging. It has a silky feel that goes on easily onto the skin for a smooth texture. Skin Perfect Primer SPF30 is great for all skin types.
Natural earth minerals and pearl powder provides a light tint that evens out skin tone for light coverage. SPF sun block protects skin against damage while soy protein helps to smoothen skin texture. It keeps skin looking matte and provides an excellent base for blending. Wear under makeup for a smoother and lasting look.
Always a fan of tinted products for that no makeup makeup look so I just couldn't resist trying out Dermalogica Skinperfect Primer SPF 30. I first tried it when my beauty therapist from Asterspring used it on me, after my facial and subsequently redeemed this product from my facial packaging credits when I emptied Colorescience Sunforgettable Total Protection Face Shield Classic SPF50 PA++++.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Dermalogica Skinperfect Primer SPF 30 is a tiny 22ml product but it still lasted me for quite awhile as alittle goes a long way. It has a velvety silicone-y texture with a hint of lavender scent.
Normally, I am not a fan of silicone primers but this just hits differently, and I don't even use it as a primer, but more like a tinted sunscreen.

Dermalogica Skinperfect Primer SPF 30 is said to smooth fine lines, brighten and prime for flawless skin, and prep for make-up application. The velvety formula with Soy Protein helps even out skin texture, creating a smoother surface. Pearl Powder and natural earth minerals provide a neutral tint for visible luminosity, radiance and more even skin tone. A potent peptide helps support skin firmness as Broad Spectrum sunscreens help shield against sun damage triggered by UV light.
I love this so much. This glides on effortlessly on face, providing an even-toned look, with a soft focus effect. It blurs out imperfections and pores, provides additional sun protection (on top of my regular sunscreen) and gives off a healthy glow with a hint of luminosity. My skin is velvety smooth too.
I also appreciate that it comes with a " grey plastic slider" that you can slide on the tube dispenser to help get the most product from the tube. Unfortunately, I was too forceful at times and the "slider" broke.
You can wear it alone over your moisturizer, or after moisturizer application and before foundation, to help decrease the appearance of fine lines for a lasting make-up finish. However, I prefer to use it after my sunscreen and before my loose powder, for that "your skin, but better" look.
That said, I can't really attest to its efficiency as a makeup primer as I didn't use it with that intention.
The mineral UV filters are Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide.

To conclude, Dermalogica Skinperfect Primer SPF 30 glides on like a dream, giving an even-toned, soft-focus effect while blurring imperfections. Love that it adds extra sun protection on top of my regular sunscreen, keeping my complexion fresh and healthy-looking!
