Inward Agas Acue Herbal Mask Review

Product Description
Inward Agas ACue Herbal Mask of pH 5.5 is a potent blend of green tea and Korean mint (agastache rugosa) for purifying congested pores, soothing breakouts, soaking up oil and calming reactive skin types. It has a cooling effect that brings relief to irritated or acne-prone skin.

I received Inward Agas Acue Herbal Mask after applying for a campaign on 0.8liter as I was keen in trying more rinse-off masks.

Hailing from Korea, products from Inward combine traditional Korean herbal with modern high-function cosmetics science. You can read more about its brand story on their website

Agas Acue Herbal Mask is an abbreviation for "Agastache Rugosa ( Korean Mint ) ACne Cure.

According to 0.8 liter, 10 000 tubs of Inward Agas Acue Herbal Mask were sold in 3 months and it is said to be more popular than sheet masks in Korea as the product contains 4 multi-functional effects namely Acne Trouble Care, Skin Cooling, Skin Moisturization and Skin Tone-Up.

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Inward Agas Acue Herbal Mask Texture

Inward Agas Acue Herbal Mask is housed in a 100ml plastic tub with a free spatula included. It has a earthy green tea scent which reminded me vaguely of I'm From Vitamin Tree Mask although both textures were widely different like chalk and cheese.

When I first received the product in the mail, it has some spillage around the rims and inside the cover even though there was a seal but its not tight which probably explained the spillage. But then again, isn't a seal supposed to be tight, else what is the purpose?

Inward Agas Acue Herbal Mask Consistency

The herbal has a very runny and thin consistency and with the distinct green tea scent, it certainly makes one feel like they are applying tea on the face.

How To Use :
1) Use clean fingers or a mask brush to spread a thin layer across the entire face.
2) After 5-10 minutes, gently massage with warm water to rinse away the mask.

Tip : Use three to four times per week on oily skin. Drier skin types may want to use only two to three times, or use the mask as a spot treatment only.

Inward Agas Acue Herbal Mask Full Review

The runny and thin consistency makes application and rinsing-off slightly challenging with tiny tea leaves embedded in the mask contents so I always make sure to use it in the bathroom as it can be drippy at times.

While I enjoyed the calming and cooling sensation but it can get slightly ticklish during application occasionally. On my first use, there was some redness on the chin and left side of the forehead with a slight taut sensation although thankfully, there was no such issues in subsequent usages.

In 10 minutes, the herbal mask dries up, leaving the tiny tea leaves on the skin. Rinsing off the mask requires some tactics and I prefer to cleanse off with wet cotton pads, rinse with water and clean with muslin cloth to pick up the remnants often found all around the edges of my face.

Another alternative, is to use the mask prior to showering and then rinse off during shower.

My skin is left feeling soft, smooth and supple with cleaner and invisible ( temporary ) pores. With regular usage, I also noticed that my T-zone is no longer that oily and breakouts on the chin ( due to mask-wearing ) healed much faster. That said, the mask doesn't really soothe the random red patches on my face.

In terms of ingredients, Inward Agas Acue Herbal Mask contains the following....
