Product Description
Dr. Althea Green Relief Amino Gel Cleanser is specially designed to reduce frictional irritation and easily produce foam, setting it apart from cream-type cleansers by avoiding excessive surfactants and clumping. It is a favorite among those with oily or combination skin, acne-prone individuals, and those in need of a quick lather due to its refreshing and effective oil-removing properties. The cleanser utilizes smaller bubbles for deep pore cleansing, boasting a mildly acidic pH of 5.0-6.0 that helps maintain the skin's natural barrier and offers gentle exfoliation without causing irritation. Enriched with Hyaluronic acid, Betula platyphylla japonica juice, and betaine, it ensures a long-lasting moisturizing sensation. Additionally, it features coconut-based and amino acid surfactants for thorough yet gentle cleaning, making it suitable for sensitive skin, and is proudly vegan and clinically proven for effectiveness on sensitive skin.
I have been enjoying Dr. Althea products of late, thanks to a Stylekorean campaign. This cleanser is the last product after emptying Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream, Dr. Althea Vitamin C Boosting Serum and Dr. Althea Pure Grinding Cleansing Balm last year.

3) Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Performance and Ingredients
Vegan and cruelty-free, Dr. Althea Green Relief Amino Gel Cleanser is a gel-type cleanser with a mildly acidic pH that minimizes residue after cleansing and promotes clear skin by effectively removing impurities and maintaining the skin's natural balance.
Enriched with hyaluronic acid, Betula platyphylla japonica juice, and betaine, it keeps skin hydrated and balanced after every wash. Infused with plant-based surfactants, it is said to provide a gentle cleanse ideal for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Being a gel cleanser which foams, this was drying on my hands and face, though it cleanses well with clean pores. My cheeks were mildly irritated. Not the perfect for my combination skin with surface dehydration, so I had to pass it to my hubby with oily skin. Unfortunately, he didn't like it too, as it left a moisturizing film on his skin which he is not used to.
The active ingredients are....
Amino Acid Complex : Maintains the natural water and protein balance of the epidermis, giving the skin firmness and elasticity.
Hyaluronic Acid : Penetrates into the deep layers of the epidermis, actively moisturizes cells, and maintains an optimal level of hydration. Forms a protective layer that prevents moisture from evaporating.
Birch Sap (10,000 ppm) : Enriches with a lot of valuable minerals, trace elements and amino acids. It has a general healing and strengthening effect, increases immunity and skin resistance to external irritants.
NP Ceramides : Embedded in the natural lipid layer of the epidermis, thereby strengthening it, preventing moisture evaporation and the penetration of harmful substances into the skin, which lead to irritation.
Rose Extract : Moisturizes and improves cell regeneration processes, smoothes expression lines, normalizes sebum production and tightens pores, eliminates allergic reactions on the skin.
