S-Labo Haikara Soy Milk Yogurt Pack is an easy wash-off mask pack infused with soy milk and yoghurt ingredients to leave your skin feeling smooth and soft. Combined with ingredients like Honey and Royal Jelly, it replenishes moisture to the skin and improves skin elasticity.
Made in Japan, S-Labo produces simple yet high-quality products made through time-tested recipes. This is my 4th product from the brand. Packaging, Scent and Texture
S-Labo Haikara Soy Milk Yoghurt Pack is housed in a 150g tub with a flip-top lid where you have to scoop up the milky-white yoghurt-like soft contents with your hands or any spatula you have at home.
Unfortunately, the musty-like scent isn't something I like although its bearable. I like to slather it thick on face.
How To Use :
1) After washing face, take a suitable amount and spread all over the face, avoiding eyes and mouth.
2) Rinse off with warm water after 5 - 10 minutes.
Tip : Use once or twice weekly
Performance and Ingredients
S-Labo Haikara Soy Milk Yoghurt Pack is an easy rinse-off mask pack with its yoghurt-like texture made with natural soy ingredients for beautiful healthy skin. It contains skin beautifying ingredients such as yoghurt, royal jelly and honey to brighten up your complexion and reveal soft and smooth skin.
The description of the mask sounds promising and I purchased it thinking that soy milk, honey and royal jelly would be beneficial for my skin, however, unfortunately, the actual performance fell short of my expectations.
Using S-Labo Haikara Soy Milk Yoghurt Pack reminded me vaguely of Tofu Moritaya Soy Milk Yoghurt Sheet Mask and I almost thought they were from the same brand although the illustrations were largely different.
The yoghurt-like soft textured mask was easy to scoop out from the tub and applied on face. You can see that its being absorbed into the skin as the white thick mask started to get thinner and almost disappeared.
It hydrates my skin moderately well and is a good addition to maintain the skin's hydration levels, however, its not something I would reach out for, during emergency or on dehydrated and dry skin days.
On top of that, I did not feel that my skin was brightened or exceptionally soft after masking.
The performance for the mask was kind of underwhelming, considering that S-Labo Haikara Soy Milk Yoghurt Pack was also awarded as Beauty Insider's Choice Award 2019 for Best Face Mask (Brightening / Lightening).
Being a soft mask, this also requires copious of water to rinse off, so my hack is to use cotton pads to clean off the excess mask on skin before rinsing with water.
Soymilk fermented liquid : Infused with soymilk fermented liquid and soy bean extract. The power of soy compensates for other ingredients and creates skin that is moist and well-textured.
Yogurt extract : The action of yogurt extract allows you to truly experience a nice feel that is always smooth to the touch. At the same time, it also reliably provides moisture to your skin.
Lactoferrin : Infused with "lactoferrin", an ingredient included in soy, with superior effects that improve the innate protective functioning of your skin and has moisturizing effect.
Honey : Smoothens skin and reliably provides moisture. A pack derived from food products
that include yogurt and added to isoflavone-rich soybeans.

Conclusion
S-Labo Haikara Soy Milk Yoghurt Pack is a rinse-off mask pack which is convenient for travels as its portable and light. Not a fan of its musty scent although its bearable. The mask hydrates my skin moderately well but its not for those with dry and dehydrated skin concerns. Not a repurchase as the mask's performance fell short of my expectations.
