I just emptied Dermalogica Invisible Physical Defense SPF 30 and Dermalogica Skin Perfect Primer SPF30 not too long ago and decided to try this sample sized Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Firm Eye Cream which I received from my regular facial salon.

If you’re starting to notice fine lines, puffiness, or that lingering tired look around your eyes, you’re not alone. The eye area is one of the first places to show signs of aging mainly because the skin here is thinner, more delicate, and more prone to dehydration. That’s where a good eye cream becomes essential.

In the world of skincare, eye creams play a targeted role: they deliver concentrated ingredients to help smooth wrinkles, brighten dark circles, reduce puffiness, and maintain firmness. Whether you’re in your late 20s and looking to delay early signs of aging, or dealing with more visible concerns like crow’s feet and loss of elasticity, using an eye cream can make a noticeable difference.

Unfortunately, I don't have much luck in eye creams but lets delve down to see if this Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Firm Eye Cream might be the one you need, after all, what don't work for me, might just work for you.

I purchased The Inkey List Peptide Volumizing Hair Treatment during a Sephora sale, after emptying Fable & Mane HoliRoots Hair Oil in a bid to reduce hair loss and was curious to see if this peptide-based formula could bring visible volume and strength to my flatter hair crown.

[ Review ] Lindsay Modeling Mask Cup Pack

 

I purchased several variants of the Lindsay Modeling Mask Cup Pack when I was in Korea last year, after hearing good things about it and being HwaHae Award-winning K-Beauty product! It was also being recorded as No. 1 in sales and No. 2 in customer satisfaction at Olive Young and duty-free shops. 

Adding on, I had good experiences with past modeling masks like Reverie Touch Rosy Glow Rubber Mask, Reverie Touch Green Tea Rubber Mask and Cellxv Peel-Off Modelling Mask. 

Lindsay masks are an advanced version compared to regular sheet masks and have been used in most Korean skin spas and skincare shops. Major ingredient of the rubber masks 'Alginate', transforms from a powder type into a gel texture when mixed with water.

Lindsay, the pioneers of modeling masks are the preferred choice of dermatologists! This innovative range of modeling masks prioritize skin health with its dual-action approach. Firstly, they deeply moisturize and nourish the skin, thanks to a unique vacuum-sealing technique that enhances ingredient absorption. Secondly, they impart skin cooling properties, are 100% paraben-free and exclude harmful chemicals, earning an Environmental Working Group Green Grade certification.

Lindsay Modeling Mask Cup Pack is a powder mask, formed by mixing Diatomaceous Earth (sea plant deposits/soil), Glucose (vegetable moisturising ingredients), and Algin (Alginate) extracted from seaweed; subsequently mixed with water or essence turning into a dough. When this mixture is kneaded with water, it transforms into a gel-like state and gradually solidifies into a rubbery texture, hence its common name, a rubber pack.

Each of the variant is provided in a cup type packaging with an inclusive spatula makes it easy to use. 

How To Use :

1) Open the lid of the Cup Pack to access the powder inside.

2) Use the spatula's “cup side” to add 7-8 spoonfuls of cold water to the powder. Take care to pour and mix simultaneously and to avoid pouring excessive water.

3) Use the spatula's “handle side” to mix the powder and water thoroughly until it forms a thick, smooth paste.

4) Evenly apply the mask pack over your face using the spatula's handle side, ensuring complete coverage.

5) Allow the mask to set for about 15 minutes (or until dry), then gently peel it off. Use cotton pads or toner to remove any residues, if necessary.

6) Finish by applying your favorite moisturizing products to lock-in hydration and complete your skincare routine.

7) Can be used once daily or as and when necessary.

8) One mask cup is ideally for one use, but if you want to use one cup multiple times, store the remaining contents in a cool place, and in an airtight container.

9) Can mix and match multiple Lindsay Masks for one time use to tackle different skin concerns at once

Lindsay Pearl Modeling Mask Cup Pack contains pearl powder, which helps cultivate skin nutrition and brighten and clear skin. It provides a brightening effect, revealing instant brightening effects and supplying nutrients to the skin.

Benefit : Provides nutrition and brightening effects to brighten dull skin and display a healthy glow. 

Peel off the lid of the modeling mask cup pack but mine was pretty tight, so I ended up cutting it open. Inside, you’ll find the powder ready to be mixed. The instructions recommend adding 7 spoonfuls of cold water, but I used 8 spoonfuls instead, as the mixture was still too thick and had some dry powder left when using only seven.

Physical sunscreens, also known as mineral sunscreens have become a go-to choice for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin. Unlike chemical sunscreens that absorb UV rays, physical sunscreens work by forming a protective barrier on the skin’s surface that reflects and scatters harmful UVA and UVB rays.

Formulated with minerals like Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide, physical sunscreens are often praised for being gentle, non-irritating, and effective immediately upon application although they have a dreary white cast.

I decided to redeem the Dermalogica Invisible Physical Defense SPF 30 using my credit voucher after signing up for a facial package at AsterSpring. Having recently finished both the Dermalogica Circular Hydration Serum and Dermalogica Skin Perfect Primer SPF 30, I was curious to see how this sunscreen would perform alongside my other physical/mineral sunscreens. 

I always keep a physical sunscreen in my arsenal especially for morning exercises or long walks under the sun. My recent go-to physical sunscreens were the Foretderm Derma Relief Vegan Suncream and Klairs All-day Airy Mineral Sunscreen, both of which I’ve already emptied.

I purchased both Dr. Satin Caviar Vivify Collagen Mask and Dr. Satin Caviar Intensive Hydration Mask as the brand was highly recommended by the Watsons promotor in Ximending, Taipei.

Hydration plays a crucial role in maintaining the skin’s overall health and function. Well-hydrated skin supports an optimal barrier, which helps protect against environmental aggressors and prevents transepidermal water loss. 

When the skin lacks moisture, it can appear rough, tight, or flaky, and may even become more prone to sensitivity and premature aging. Incorporating hydrating skincare such as sheet masks enriched with humectants like hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and panthenol help to replenish moisture levels and reinforce the skin barrier. These formulas can deliver an intensive boost of hydration, leaving the skin feeling supple, balanced, and more resilient.

This is my 2nd mask variant from Dr. Satin. The brand focuses on dermatologist-formulated skincare using marine ingredients, vitamins, and biotech extracts. Their products aim for medical-grade results but with gentle, everyday use.

How To Use:

Apply a hazelnut sized amount on washed and towel-dried hair. Massage through mid-lengths and ends, avoiding roots to ensure lightweight volume. Leave in for 2 to 3 minutes. Emulsify and rinse thoroughly.

I received a 30ml travel sized of Kerastase Blond Absolu Cicaflash Conditioner from my aunt which was actually my first time trying out this brand. Despite my initial low expectations, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed using it.

I truly enjoyed using the Natio Daily Invigorating Body Wash, and it quickly became part of my self-care routine for destressing after a long day. The uplifting aroma of Lime and Bergamot helps refresh my senses and elevate my mood. 

It lathers gently with light suds, providing a thorough yet mild cleanse that leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and refreshed without any dryness.
