Benefits :
- Strengthens roots and strands to help prevent breakage
- Promotes healthier hair growth

Happy to try another new hair brand which came with my Cult Beauty The Volume Edit purchase. Any product that screams "healthier hair growth" is alluring.
Made in the USA, the brand is founded by Nikita and Akash Mehta, siblings with a shared mission of introducing Indian wisdom to Western hair care rituals. Fable & Mane melds the alchemy of Indian plants with divine scents devised by a world-worshipped French perfumer.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Fable & Mane HoliRoots Hair Oil Appearance

Fable & Mane HoliRoots Hair Oil comes in a brightly happy orange box that contains a 55ml dropper bottle in amber. It has a a divine fresh, floral scent that blends Indian jasmine sambac, precious red champaca flowers and an unforgettably rich, warm base of cedarwood and tonka beans, transporting you to the divine city of Madurai in India.
It is clear in colour and oily but not an issue, as a pre-shampoo oil. Unfortunately, I once mistook it as a hair tonic (obviously, my mind was elsewhere) and had to go to office with an oily hair crown.
How To Use :

1) Section dry hair and apply one dropper of pre-wash oil directly onto your scalp.

2) Gently massage into your roots, focusing on the crown chakra. Inhale deeply and enjoy the grounding aroma.

3) Leave on for a minimum of five minutes, or overnight for the best results.

4) Rinse thoroughly before cleansing with shampoo.

Performance and Ingredients

Vegan and cruelty-free, Fable & Mane HoliRoots Hair Oil is scented with the divine nectar of champaca flowers native to Maduraia as the aromatherapeutic blend promotes a sense of divine self love. Containing hair-loving benefits, it nurtures from the root onwards by stimulating scalp circulation, as well as strengthening and softening your strands. Suited to all hair types, the lightweight, silicone-free blend is infused with ashwagandha (an adaptogen employed in Ayurvedic rituals for millennia) that helps to thicken fine hair, while dashmool promotes healthy scalp circulation to encourage hair growth.

It has a fresh, floral scent that blends Indian jasmine sambac, red champaca flowers and cedarwood which I enjoyed. The recommended application time for this hair oil ranges from a minimum of five minutes to overnight, however, I personally prefer leaving it on for about an hour before rinsing it off.

With consistent use, I noticed a significant improvement—my hair strands felt stronger, and there was noticeably less hair fall during shampooing compared to when I wasn’t using the oil. It also makes my hair feel light and healthy. Unfortunately, as I reached the last 25% of the bottle, the results became less consistent, which was a bit disappointing. Nonetheless, it remains a beneficial addition to my hair care routine.

The key ingredients are....

Ashwagandha: A potent Ayurvedic root that strengthens roots and hair follicles
Amla: An anxtioxidant-rich berry that hydrates and helps to control hair fall
