I have been intrigued by bubble masks for a while so this was a great time for me to try out my very first bubble mask by Purederm, a Korean brand.
Launched in 2002, Purederm refer to Pureness and Derm where they use a moisturizing, low-irritation formula for lively, gorgeous skin, giving the gift of relaxation and healthy beauty to your precious skin.
Packaging, Scent and Cutting
Recommended for those who suffer from blackheads, pimples and piling dead skin cells, Purederm Deep Purifying Black O2 Bubble Mask ( Charcoal ) is a self-bubbling mask that when exposed to air, create little micro-bubbles that purify and soften the skin. This helps remove dead skin cells and brightens the skin, deep cleansing the pores to whisk away dirt and impurities. How cool is that?
There were little bubbles on the black sheet mask when I first pulled out the mask from its packaging. You have to be quick to unfold and layer it on the skin before the bubbles start to bubble up and foam. There was a fruity-perfumy scent which lingered throughout the 15 minute masking session but its not overpowering.
The size of the mask was smaller on the forehead and chin which could have been intentional so that there is room for the bubbles to foam and not to get all over the hairline or to drip down from the chin. The cutouts for the eyes were slightly larger so that the foam would not get into the eyes. The large gap between the nose and cheeks probably also help to settle the bubble foam on skin.
How To Use
①Before use, please rub the surface of the pouch to mix the contents well.
②Take out and unfold the mask. Apply the mask over a dry face in alignment with the face shape. ③Wear the mask for 10-15 minutes. Remove the mask when the oxygen bubbles have risen sufficiently.
④Rinse your face with lukewarm water.

I really enjoyed the full 15 minutes of the bubble mask. It was so fun! The bubbling crackling noise was interesting and the bubbles were nice and non-irritating to skin There was no wetness or drippy messiness even though the bubbles foamed up pretty much.
After removing the mask, there were slight bubbles on the skin. Just rinse it off and viola, my skin looked so glowy! Pores appeared smaller, skin was fresh and glowing and felt smooth and soft to the touch. There was a very subtle taut sensation on the upper lips although the mask isn't drying at all so its a minor issue for me.

In terms of ingredients, Charcoal Powder cleanses and purifies your skin together with Orange and Lemon Extract by helping the absorption of sebums. To conclude, I enjoyed my very first bubbling experience using Purederm Deep Purifying Black O2 Bubble Mask ( Charcoal )! It was so fun and topping it off, its pretty effective too! My skin is literally fresh and glowing, soft and smooth - just the perfect mask before an important event!
