Benton Air Fit UV Defense Sun Cream is a feather light, no-white cast, creamy sunscreen that hydrates while providing an SPF50+ PA++++ protection from damaging UV rays. Added centella asiatica along with other botanical ingredients soothe, hydrate and calm, while panthenol conditions. The light green hue, subtle herbaceous scent, and cooling sensation upon application all come from the ingredients themselves.
I received Benton Air Fit UV Defense Sun Cream from a Stylekorean collaboration last year. Sunscreens have gained popularity on social media due to increased awareness of skin protection and the harmful effects of UV rays.
It is important to protect your skin from sun exposure by using a daily sunscreen to avoid premature signs of ageing, including fine lines, wrinkles and discolouration. Sun damage can really end up doing a number on your skin if you don’t protect it every day. Find a sunscreen product that you like so you will use it consistently.
Inspired by nature’s most gentle ingredients, like repairing snail mucin and moisturizing honey, Benton creates natural products that help improve skin. The name Benton is derived from “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” the story of an old man who becomes younger and younger. Packaging, Scent and Texture
Benton Air Fit UV Defense Sun Cream is a 50ml green tube with green contents in a green box. The soft lightweight creamy texture with a calming rosemary scent has a lovely minty cooling sensation and glides well on skin.
The green colour doesn't appear green on the face, so don't worry!
How To Use :
At the last step of skincare, 20 to 30 minutes before going out, apply an appropriate amount evenly to the skin. Reapply as needed when exposed to strong sunlight.
Performance and Ingredients
Lightweight yet moisturizing, this Air Fit UV defense sun cream with broad spectrum SPF 50 PA++++ has a soft creamy texture that glides easily on skin. Since this is a chemical sunscreen, there is no white cast while the rosemary scent is so calming to the senses.
It applies effortlessly well and is so lightweight and non-sticky that makes one feel that you can layer several rounds without any issues, however, there is an immediate shiny finishing upon application which thankfully, can be toned down with RMS Beauty "Un" Powder or Derma E Sun Protection Mineral Powder
That said, there is a subtle random sting occasionally but I am not too overly concerned as it goes away after a short while. Something to take note if you have sensitive skin or sensitive to Rosemary Leaf Oil.

UVA : Long wave ultraviolet A (UVA) rays penetrate deep into the dermis, the skin's thickest layer and causes premature skin aging, wrinkling and dark spots.
UVB : Short wave ultraviolet B (UVB) rays burn the superficial layers of the skin and is the main cause of sunburn and skin cancer.

Ethylhexyl Triazone : A new generation, chemical sunscreen that gives the highest photo-stable absorption of all available UVB filters today. Also known as Octyl Triazone and Uvinul T 150.
Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol : Also known as Tinosorb M, this is a "hybrid" sunscreen meaning it's half-way between physical (the ones that, at least partly, reflect the sun) and chemical agents (that absorb the rays, which most sunscreens do). It is a new generation UV filter and gives a nice broad-spectrum coverage (280-400 nm, meaning UVB as well as UVA protection) and is highly photostable. It can also help to stabilize other less stable sunscreens, like Octinoxate and work well with other UV-filters.
The safety profile of Tinosorb M is great. It is not absorbed into the skin unlike some other chemical sunscreens and does not show estrogenic activity. However, Tinosorb M leaves a white cast on the skin that can be bothersome on darker skin tones.
Diethylhexy Butamido Triazone : A chemical sunscreen agent that's very oil soluble and requires relatively low concentrations to achieve high SPF values. Particularly suitable for water-repellent and water-resistant formulations, it is super photostable where it loses 10% of its SPF protection abilities only in 25 hours when 2 hours counts already as "photostable" in the world of chemical sunscreens. Also known as Iscotrizinol.

Conclusion
To conclude, Benton Air Fit UV Defense Sun Cream has a lovely lightweight creamy texture that is layer-able without feeling heavy while the immediate shiny finishing gets toned down with makeup. I didn't like it initially but has started to enjoy using it on most days.
That said, it stings occasionally and since it contains Rosemary Leaf Oil, this sunscreen might not be suitable for those who are sensitive to essential oils.
