On A Short Break

I will be away on a short trip to Legoland Malaysia. The first time I visited Legoland was many years ago, as a day trip but this time, I will be staying at the hotel with my niece and nephews.

[ Review ] : Josh Rosebrook Cacao Antioxidant Mask

[ Review ] : Pixi Peel & Polish Resurfacing Concentrate

Product Description
This radiance revealing enzyme peel resurfaces for smoother, softer skin and a healthy looking glow.

I received a 15ml sample of Pixi Beauty Peel and Polish Resurfacing Concentrate after attending a Sephora event some time back. Packaging, Scent and Texture

Pixi Peel and Polish Resurfacing Concentrate comes in a 15ml pliable travel sized pink tube ( the retail size is 80ml ) with their distinctive scent which I can't describe in words. It is bearable and not offensive or overpowering but it took me awhile to get used to the scent. Some described it as a refreshing cucumber scent. You go decide, when you are at Sephora. :)

I received Medi Flower Rosa Canina Hand Cream as a Christmas gift from my aunt last year. I like hand creams as its essential in my every day life. My hands are constantly dry so a hand cream is much needed.

There are 5 variants to Medi Flower Hand Creams, namely

#White Lily : Feel the nature as it is. White lily extract and β-glucan deliver deep moisture to the hands.
#Lavender Floral : Lavender lets you be easy in your mind. Lavender water and β-glucan deliver deep moisture to the hands.
#Rosa Canina : Rich scent of cederwood from ember. Rose hip extract and β-glucan deliver deep moisture to the hands.
#Peony Blossom : Elegancy of peony and softness of white musk. Peony extract and β-glucan deliver deep moisture to the hands.
#Lotus Bloom : Fresh lime and floral scent gives you bright delicacy. Lotus extract and β-glucan deliver deep moisture to the hands.

I received mine in Rosa Canina that comes in a pretty yellow tube that oozes out the hand cream easily. At 50g, it looks pretty and presentable and is perfect as a Christmas gift or a farewell gift for your colleagues. However, the pliable hand cream tube do get dented and unsightly after much depressions.

Made in Korea, Medi Flower Rosa Canina Hand Cream has a light buttery formula that has a slight sheen once applied on the hands but doesn't leave greasy palm prints all over.

However, as with most hand creams I owned, they do not moisturise sufficiently well for my perpetually dry hands so frequent application is still much needed.

When the hand cream is nearing to the end of contents and cannot be depressed to get the contents out, I resorted to cutting the tube and squeezing out the contents, in a bid to reduce waste. 

I used to throw them away when the packaging no longer allow me to squeeze out the contents but upon joining "Journey to Zero Waste in Singapore" Facebook, I learnt to be more conscious of my waste.
