I purchased Thank You Farmer True Water Vita Mist when I was in Korea late last year. I heard good things about the brand so when I chanced upon the products, I just couldn't not buy it.
Because of the double moisture barrier of Vita Moisture + Oil Double Layer, Thank You Farmer True Water Vita Mist is said to minimize water loss and increase absorption of the next skincare product, eliminates dead skin cells and recharges moisture. The mist can also be applied on dry body, hair and nail too!
I really enjoyed using the mist initially, it smells good and the mist is fine and dispenses out like a fan on the skin. I used it directly after cleansing and before serum. It prepped my skin for InstaNatural Brightening Serum and hydrates it moderately well, since Vitamin C serum is drying in general.
Unfortunately, when the contents are nearer down to the last 1/3, it seems that the vita oil to vita water ratio is no longer the same as before. The ratio is like 4 : 1 and its extremely greasy. The misting has also becoming more like a burst during the dispensing from the bottle, making my face oily. The oil seeps through to my eyelids, blurring my vision, even though I don't actually "feel" the oil on my eyes but I know that my vision is blurry because of it.
I switched the method of using the mist, spraying it on cotton pads and swipe it all over my face. It is so much better, at this stage. I can feel the "serum" working on my skin, when I applied Kahina Giving Beauty Facial Lotion, directly after Thank You Farmer True Water Vita Mist.
Initially, I had tried using Kahina Giving Beauty Argan Oil but 2 oils on my face just make my skin looked greasy and shiny so I skipped using that, and just applied the Facial Lotion.
Applying Kahina Giving Beauty Facial Lotion, directly after Thank You Farmer True Water Vita Mist makes my skin smooth and supple. There were some flakiness in the initial stages but daily sheet masking solved that issue. I really like how both products appeared to work in synergy on my combination skin type, however, please note that the hydration capability can only last till the next morning, before my skin is back to its dehydrated and rough state.
I also tried using it on my legs and it also worked pretty well, making it very soft and well-moisturised.
It was my first foray into Thank You Farmer brand and also my first oil-water mist, so it was kind of disappointing that I cannot complete using it the way I wanted it to be, but using it another way gave me a pleasant surprise and better skin to boot so I am thankful for that.
In terms of ingredients, note that there is alcohol in the last 1/3 of the list so I can still accept it, although my ideal product would be without the alcohol.
