I will be away on a short trip to Legoland Malaysia. The first time I visited Legoland was many years ago, as a day trip but this time, I will be staying at the hotel with my niece and nephews.

[ Review ] : Josh Rosebrook Cacao Antioxidant Mask

Ever since I came across Josh Rosebrook products, I have been wanting to lay my hands on them. His products have legion of fans around the world that its almost a sin not to try them. HAHA.

[ Review ] : Pixi Peel & Polish Resurfacing Concentrate

Product Description
This radiance revealing enzyme peel resurfaces for smoother, softer skin and a healthy looking glow.

I received a 15ml sample of Pixi Beauty Peel and Polish Resurfacing Concentrate after attending a Sephora event some time back. Packaging, Scent and Texture

Pixi Peel and Polish Resurfacing Concentrate comes in a 15ml pliable travel sized pink tube ( the retail size is 80ml ) with their distinctive scent which I can't describe in words. It is bearable and not offensive or overpowering but it took me awhile to get used to the scent. Some described it as a refreshing cucumber scent. You go decide, when you are at Sephora. :)

I was looking for brightening products 2 months ago and chanced upon Kat Burki Vitamin C Nourishing Cleansing Balm having a promotion so I thought it was a good chance for me to try out a new brand.

I received Medi Flower Rosa Canina Hand Cream as a Christmas gift from my aunt last year. I like hand creams as its essential in my every day life. My hands are constantly dry so a hand cream is much needed.

There are 5 variants to Medi Flower Hand Creams, namely

#White Lily : Feel the nature as it is. White lily extract and β-glucan deliver deep moisture to the hands.
#Lavender Floral : Lavender lets you be easy in your mind. Lavender water and β-glucan deliver deep moisture to the hands.
#Rosa Canina : Rich scent of cederwood from ember. Rose hip extract and β-glucan deliver deep moisture to the hands.
#Peony Blossom : Elegancy of peony and softness of white musk. Peony extract and β-glucan deliver deep moisture to the hands.
#Lotus Bloom : Fresh lime and floral scent gives you bright delicacy. Lotus extract and β-glucan deliver deep moisture to the hands.

I received mine in Rosa Canina that comes in a pretty yellow tube that oozes out the hand cream easily. At 50g, it looks pretty and presentable and is perfect as a Christmas gift or a farewell gift for your colleagues. However, the pliable hand cream tube do get dented and unsightly after much depressions.

Made in Korea, Medi Flower Rosa Canina Hand Cream has a light buttery formula that has a slight sheen once applied on the hands but doesn't leave greasy palm prints all over.

However, as with most hand creams I owned, they do not moisturise sufficiently well for my perpetually dry hands so frequent application is still much needed.

When the hand cream is nearing to the end of contents and cannot be depressed to get the contents out, I resorted to cutting the tube and squeezing out the contents, in a bid to reduce waste. 

I used to throw them away when the packaging no longer allow me to squeeze out the contents but upon joining "Journey to Zero Waste in Singapore" Facebook, I learnt to be more conscious of my waste.

I always have a soft spot for facial mists so when I chanced upon the Divine Pearl Serum Mist in Korea last year, it was apt that I purchased them.

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Made in Korea, Klavuu Divine Pearl Serum Mist comes in an opaque pearly sheen bottle containing a mere 50ml contents. With once a day usage, it was quickly used up within 2 weeks.

Since the bottle is opaque, there is difficulty in telling how much is left in the bottle and it also felt airy and light, to be able to "feel" the weight of the mist.

[ Review ] : Origins Smoothing Ginger Body Scrub

Product Description
Skin-scouring Dead Sea Salts and warming Ginger Zest cushioned in emollient-rich Macadamia, Soybean, Kukui Nut and Sweet Almond Oils removes all traces of roughness to buff every bit of you.

I love it when my friends prepared beauty products as Christmas gifts for me and Origins Smoothing Ginger Body Scrub was one of them.

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Hailing from USA, the Ginger Body Scrub comes in a pretty matte frosted plastic tube that dispenses the scrub contents with light depressions, however the tube gets flatted easily, after some depressions.

The texture has a creamy consistency that is gentle, non-greasy and non-drying without any abrasive after-feel. What topped it off is the irresistible aroma of ginger which I adored.

Performance and Ingredients

Origins Smoothing Ginger Body Scrub uses smoothing sugar to gently buff away rough, dry skin, then transform into a creamy, cleansing lather, leaving my skin soft, refreshed, reinvigorated. I really love the scent and the smoother skin after every scrubbing session. It is also gentle enough to be used daily.

The key ingredients are
Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine : cleanses
Sucrose : exfoliates
Glycerin : hydrates

Unfortunately, there is no ingredient list on the packaging or on the website.

Conclusion

To conclude, I am loving Origins Smoothing Ginger Body Scrub for its gentle and non-abrasive texture as well as its addictive ginger aroma!

[ Review ] : Kora Organics Hydrating Moisturizer
