Review of Kora Organics Hydrating Moisturizer
Product Description
A creamy daily moisturiser that rehydrates dull or dry skin while replenishing and softening. This moisturiser is formulated with certified organic rosehip, macadamia nut oils, noni fruit, and licorice extracts to soften skin and boost hydration. It softens skin’s texture and reduces the appearance of fine lines, leaving the complexion soft, smooth, and supple.

Kora Organics Hydrating Moisturizer is my last product from Kora Organics, which I used after the Cream Cleanser and Rose Balancing Mist. Out of the 3 products, this is the product which I enjoyed the least.

The founder, Miranda Kerr isn't just a top model but also a qualified health practitioner. Her skincare brand Kora Organics is certified organic, vegan and cruelty-free.

Packaging, Scent and Texture

Kora Organics Hydrating Moisturizer comes in a white minimalistic tube with a pump nozzle that dispenses just the right amount of contents for my face. A little goes a long way.

It has a creamy smooth buttery consistency with a subtle soothing scent. With an emollient oil base, it glides well on skin and is most suited for those with dry skin.

I personally prefer a lighter texture due to my combination-dehydrated skin type hence I am not a fan of Kora Organics Hydrating Moisturizer but that doesn't meant it does not perform well. It is just that cream based moisturisers are more suitable for dry skin while water based moisturisers are more suitable for dehydrated skin like mine.

Performance and Ingredients

Kora Organics Hydrating Moisturizer With Misting
Massaging after misting - can you see the milky-like emulsion?

Since starting on the Hydrating Moisturizer, I have not faced any skin flakiness issues. I tend to mist with Kora Organics Rose Balancing Mist to damp my face before applying the moisturizer, however the buttery texture does not sink in too well when its wet as it turns into a milky emulsion and I have to continue massaging in the moisturizer until the white milkiness is gone.

It left my skin feeling hydrated with a slight stickiness that goes away after a short while and there is a faint hint of greasiness which I don't really like on my skin, due to the inclusion of the oils and shea butter in the ingredients. It did not give me any issue but its just a personal preference.

Containing certified Organic Rosehip and Macadamia Nut Oils combine with Noni Fruit and Licorice Extracts to soften skin and boost hydration, Kora Organics Hydrating Moisturizer also contain Sodium Hyaluronate, a natural Hyaluronic Acid, which essentially acts as a sponge, drawing water from the atmosphere – resulting in hydrated and smoother skin.

The product does not contain Sulfates, Parabens, Synthetic fragrance, Synthetic colours, T.E.A., D.E.A., Glycols, Silicones, PEGs. Ethoxylate and is Formaldehyde free.
