I received 4 sample sachets of Dr. G Red Blemish Clear Soothing Cream during my purchases in Seoul in early September. A 2ml sachet lasted me for about 4 usages, so technically, I tried the cream for 7~8 days, twice a day.

My skin is usually very clear, bright and smooth, immediately after a facial session and continues for another day. However, 2 days after the facial, my skin would be flaking and alittle dehydrated. I was told that this could be due to the extractions done during facials and was advised to apply masks to maintain the good condition of the skin.

After one of my facials ( I visit the salon every 2 months ), I applied Dr. G Red Blemish Clear Soothing Cream just before I turned in for the night. Since I have fair skin, it will be slightly red after facial, due to the extractions so I thought the Soothing Cream may be able to minimize the redness and hydrate my skin.

Unfortunately, I did not see a marked difference in the redness reduction however, I really enjoyed the calming and soothing sensation from the Soothing Cream. The texture is like a cream but not heavy or greasy. It applied like a dream and absorbed well - slightly cold, yet calming and soothing. There was no after-stickiness.

My skin felt hydrated and smooth and there was no taut sensation that I normally had, 1 day after facials. There were still some flakiness though but they were very much minimized, as much as 50%.

note : my flakiness usually occurred on the nose and chin which lasted for about 2 days but after applying the cream, the flakiness only appeared on the chin and cleared up within that day. Impressed with the hydration ability of the cream!

Dr. G Red Blemish Clear Soothing Cream has given me confidence to try out the rest of their products. Please note that this is an upgrade from their original Dr. G Red Blemish Clear Cream.
