Packaging, Texture and Scent
I purchased a 100ml size of Thank You Farmer Soothing Gel Mask during my trip in Korea late last year as I think it is always good to have a soothing mask as a backup when my skin acts up. Made in Korea, the soothing gel mask is said to hydrate and cool sensitive skin within minutes. Its calming contents soothe irritated and inflamed complexions while plumping ingredients firm, leaving skin feeling relaxed and relieved.
It comes in a sweet pink plastic jar which may not be welcomed by those iffy about the hygienic factor and the oxidisation of key ingredients but an indirect way to go around it, is to decant some quantity into a smaller jar to be used up, before refilling it again, just to reduce the frequency of the jar being opened. Please also be reminded to use a spatula to scoop up the mask for usage. I have to confess that I usually just dip my clean finger into it and use another finger if I needed it for the second time.
Thank You Farmer Soothing Gel Mask has a calming sweet scent and the transparent pink gel texture is just so cooling and comforting on skin, which is especially useful for those with sensitive skin that turns red easily. It is neither sticky nor greasy and washes off easily with water.
Performance
This is a wash-off mask, as per description on the box, however, on Sokoglam, it was described to be used as both an overnight mask and a leave-on mask. Personally, I don't really think it can be used as an overnight mask as the mask consistency dries to a sticky finishing after 15 minutes and I don't fancy going to bed with such tackiness on the face.
I like the refreshing and cold sensation which feels very calming once applied and skin looked brighter and redness was minimized. After rinsing off, and followed up with my usual skincare products, I can see my skin was considerably calmed and soothed.
As such, I also tend to use it 2 days after a salon facial as that is when my skin would be slightly red, irritated and rough. That said, do note that on very flaky areas, there might be a subtle stinging effect for a short while.
Thank You Farmer Back To Relax Soothing Gel Mask can certainly be a relief for those on a constant battle with redness and sensitivity. A 100ml size lasted me for about 5 months with once/twice a week usage.

How To Use
Apply a thick layer all over cleansed skin and leave for 10 to 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water to reveal a plump, beautifully dewy complexion.
