Review : Origins Flower Fusion Violet Nourishing Sheet Mask

Origins Flower Fusion Violet Nourishing Sheet Mask Review

Product Description
Our Violet-infused sheet mask instantly nourishes skin for a supple look and feel. Made of 100% Bamboo, this super soft mask is fortified with flower wax, a byproduct of essential oil distillation with excellent emollient properties. That makes it great for moisturizing skin. Plus, the delicately sweet scent of Violet eases stress to calm body and mind.

Origins has 6 different types of sheet masks targeting different types of skin concerns, namely
Rose : Hydrating
Orange : Radiance
Violet : Nourishing
Jasmine : Softening
Lavender : Soothing
Raspberry : Refreshing

A good friend of mine has gifted me with 3 different varieties, knowing how much a sheet mask fanatic I am and here I am with the 2nd sheet mask review from Origins.

Origins Flower Fusion Violet Nourishing Sheet Mask Material

Origins Flower Fusion Violet Nourishing Sheet Mask has a light scent that is not overpowering which is something I really appreciate. The material is sturdy and durable, adheres well with a slight "hanging" gap at the chin area, which is common for thick material sheet mask. Just press it lightly whenever you "feel" the gap.

The mask cutout is not really made for my cherubic face shape though. The eye cutout area is too low, cutting it closer to my eyelids, leaving a large uncovered area on the undereye area while the lip cutout area does not leave any additional space around my thick lips. Thankfully, the sheet mask is moist and not dripping with essence so there is no irritation to my eyes or lips.

After a 15 minutes session, my face has a slightly taut feeling, that made me feel that all the moisture has been "sucked" up by the sheet mask. I had the same sentiments with most of Naruko sheet masks too.

For a mask that is said to nourish skin and containing emollient properties, I was disappointed that the performance was less than satisfactory. I don't see a spectacular difference to my skin after using up 1 sheet mask, perhaps using more, may yield a better result.

You can get the masks from Sephora, Origins or Amazon.
