I purchased Iunik Beta-Glucan Daily Moisture Cream when I was in Korea as the brand has been on my wishlist for awhile so when I chanced upon this in Seoul, I just had to get it, together with Iunik Vitamin Hyaluronic Acid Vitalizing Toner and Iunik Beta-Glucan Power Moisture Serum.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Iunik Beta-Glucan Daily Moisture Cream comes in a white and blue tube with a clinical minimalistic vibe. Colours of the individual box packaging are made to coincide with the colour of the intended products. Like for this tube, its box packaging is also in white and blue.

Iunik Beta-Glucan Daily Moisture Cream is a highly moisturizing cream that moisturizes the skin with Third Generation Beta Glucan. For the uninitiated, in the history of cosmetics for moisturizing ingredients, Glycerin is widely known as the first generation while Hyaluronic Acid is known as the second generation and now, Beta Glucan has been made for the third generation.
I enjoyed using this Daily Moisture Cream as its lightweight, non-greasy and non-sticky, hence its the perfect moisturizer for my combination skin under the humid weather. The texture is smooth and absorbed quickly into skin without any heavy after-feel. There is a slight cooling sensation that helped to soothe the skin. Skin is soft and smooth after application.
During the course of usage, I had paired it with different products which caused some reactions.

Containing 3000mg Beta Glucan, the moisturizing function is said to be 20% more superior than Hyaluronic Acid and helps in skin lifting and recovery. Red Fruits Complex helps to nourish and vitalize tired skin. Centella Asiatica Extract and Aloe Vera Leaf Powder helps to calm and protect sensitive skin.
Formulated with 98% Beta Glucan, a mushroom yeast extract, I like that the ingredients used in Beta-Glucan Daily Moisture Cream has a good safety rating with low hazards as determined by EWG. There is no alcohol in the formula too.
According to Dendy Engelman, "Beta-glucans, written as β-glucans, are polysaccharides (multiple sugars, starch, cellulose bonded together) found in yeast, bacteria, fungi, seaweed, and grains like oats." So you can ingest them in food, or they can be extracted and applied to your skin."
