Review : Acwell Rice Brightening Daanji Mask

Acwell Rice Brightening Daanji Mask Review
Product Description
This mask uses natural, fermented ingredients derived from Korean traditional medicine to impart skin with intense moisture. It comes soaked in an essence full of niacinamide, rice ferment, and licorice root extract to effectively brighten and clarify skin. Also included in the formula are hyaluronic acid and shea butter to provide deep hydration. This sheet mask is composed of three layers of bamboo fiber coated with biocellulose to perfectly fit the contours of your face. Free of parabens, talc, mineral oil, and sulfates, this sheet mask is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

1 piece of Acwell Rice Brightening Daanji Mask was part of my Tangs Beauty Box purchase previously and its effectiveness has made me purchase more of other varieties when I was in Korea recently. The full range of Daanji Mask consists of Honey ( for wrinkles ), Drink ( for purifying ), Water ( for moisture ) and Rice ( for brightening ).

Acwell is a Korean herbal skincare brand ( also known as a "hanbang" brand which fuses traditional Korean medicinal ingredients, with modern formula technologies when creating its products ) that focuses on helping sensitive and troubled skin. Natural anti-inflammatory herbs are infused in the skincare products to help soothe the skin. Acwell Rice Brightening Daanji Mask is my first product from the brand and I have also purchased masks in the same range as well as its sunblock during my trip to Korea ( found in LOHB stores in Seoul ) recently.

Free from talc, mineral oil, parabens and sulphate, the Rice Brightening Mask has a thick and sturdy mask material with a small cut-out on the lips which may make the experience slightly annoying.

Based on the ingredients, Acwell Rice Brightening Daanji Mask has brightening and moisturising properties and indeed it does deliver. My skin was slightly brightened up and is well-moisturised when I used it in Korea at night. Plumped up my skin and I looked less tired despite walking so much under the sun, during the trip.

Check out the ingredients breakdown on Cosdna where most of them have very low probabilities of being comedogenic hence, those with acne issues can try Acwell Rice Brightening Daanji Mask without too much worries.
