Laneige's Fresh Calming range was launched mid last year where as the name implies, it refreshes the skin and calms it down with its main ingredient Lychee. The natural Litchi Extract from Lychee Peel contains polyphenol, a chemical compound that is rich in antioxidants which fights against free radicals that causes aging.
I received a box of Laneige Fresh Calming Toner ( Quick Toner Pack ) as a Christmas gift from a good friend late last year. It contains 14 individually packs in a box and in each pack, it has 2 pre-soaked square cotton pads to be layered on the cheeks.
Perfect for use as a refreshing facial treatment during busy mornings and tired nights ( as you go about doing your chores ), the Quick Toner Pack helps to instantly soothe skin with natural rich ingredients. Indeed it does. I used it every morning and night and 14 packs were used up within 2 weeks. It is also travel friendly enough for me to bring along for my Korea trip, to replace my toner.
Cooling and refreshing with a hint of lychee scent, you just need to layer both pre-soaked large cotton pads on the cheeks like what Lee Sung Kyung does above. On my first usage, my skin instantly looked brighter, more radiant and less tired after layering the Quick Toner Pack for 20 minutes followed by swiping it all over my face. Loved the effect but unfortunately, I did not see that same effect during subsequent usages.
During the 2 weeks, I noticed that if I use InstaNatural Brightening Vitamin C Serum immediately after Laneige Fresh Calming Toner ( Quick Toner Pack ), my skin will be itchy hence I will allow some absorption time between both products to avoid any adverse reaction. Thankfully this method works well for me.
Do note that the Fresh Calming Toner ( Quick Toner Pack ) had gone for a revamp with a new packaging that contains 20 individually packs ( instead of the original 14 packs ) in a box and in each pack, it contains 3 pre-soaked cotton pads ( instead of the original 2 pads ). I am not sure if the formulation has changed as my original pack does not contain any ingredient list to be compared with the new one though.
Alternatively, you can also get Laneige Fresh Calming Toner, soaked with cotton pads and layered on the skin, to get the same effect at an economical price.
