If you didn't know by now, VMV Hypoallergenics Skintangible "Faint''ation BBBB Cream has been my holy grail for years but I feared for the day that it would no longer be available in Singapore so I have been looking around for a tinted product which contains SPF and Naruko Tea Tree Anti-Acne Sunscreen SPF50 comes to mind.
I am a fan of Tea Tree Oil and Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Oil 100% Pure Multipurpose Liquid has been my zit-zapper for years, to combat that occasional zit during that time of the month hence I was pretty open to trying out Naruko Tea Tree Anti-Acne Sunscreen SPF50.
Hailing from Taiwan, Naruko is an Asian skin care brand that provides affordable skin care products. Using only natural ingredients to help all women to solve their skin concerns. Naruko's skincare products are all safe to use, free from artificial coloring, fragrance and parabens. Perfect for sensitive, dry and oily skin!
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Naruko Tea Tree Anti-Acne Sunscreen SPF50 comes in a pretty 30ml green bottle that certainly reminds one of Tea Tree. It has a distinct Tea Tree scent so if you are not a fan of it, you might not enjoy using the product.

I was initially dismayed to find out that the lightweight runny texture was slightly greasy which isn't what I like and was worried that I might get a zit or two, from the application but my worries were unfounded and I actually like it much more than expected.
How To Use :
Shake well before use. Take a quarter-sized amount and apply evenly all over face after cleansing and basic skin care routine.
Performance and Ingredients
Naruko Tea Tree Anti-Acne Sunscreen SPF50 is said to help block UV rays, control oil secretion, prevent blemishes and even out skin tone.
With physical and chemical sun-block ingredients, enriched with Tea Tree Oil and Salicylic Acid to strengthen sebum control, this sheer, fresh, high SPF sunscreen brings perfect protection for oily and acne skin against UV rays and visibly evens skin tone.
I tend to use it after my usual sunscreen application since using just Naruko Tea Tree Anti-Acne Sunscreen SPF50 alone for sun protection would be insufficient in our humid Singapore. Thereafter, I would follow up with my holy grail RMS Beauty "Un" Powder.
Despite the initial worries, the runny contents of the anti-acne sunscreen glides well on skin, while helping to even-out the skin tone as it dries down to a dewy finishing. It has a minty sensation during application and I love the natural and dewy look, making my skin look even-toned and healthy!

However, the coverage is sheer so if you prefer something with high coverage then this product is not for you. The oil-control isn't that fantastic as my T-zone oils up slightly after 3 hours.

The formula contains 3 acne-busting ingredients - high concentration of Salicylic Acid, Serenoa Serrulata Fruit Extract and p-Refinyl to help cut off oil source, prevent acne and pimple and suppress 5a-reductases ( enzymes involved in steroid production ) for full oil control, creating flawlessly fair skin insulated form acne and pimples. However, do take note that alcohol is listed as the 7th ingredient.
