I read good reviews on Papa Recipe masks so when I was in Korea and chanced upon Papa Recipe Bombee Honey Mask, I quickly purchased them.
Papa Recipe Honey Mask comes in 4 variants :
Bombee Honey Mask - Nourishes and moisturizes the skin with honey and propolis extract.
Bombee Black Honey Mask - Contains richly moisturizing and nourishing propolis and manuka honey extracts which help make your skin moist and resilient and give it a honey-like gloss.
Bombee Whitening Honey Mask - Nourishes and moisturizes the skin with honey and propolis extract.
Bombee RoseGold Honey Mask - Moisturizes the skin with the gold-honeycom sheet generously soaked with richly hydrating propolis extract, 24K gold and essence.
For every box packaging and on every individual mask packaging, there is a QR code sticker pasted on it for authenticity verification. When I first scanned the QR code, I was brought to the brandsafer website and prompted to download the Paparecipe App but unfortunately, its not available for download in Singapore. Its certainly strange considering how Paprecipe is easily available in Guardian Singapore which I believe is an authorized retailer so the app should be made available for those in Singapore.
Thankfully, the QR code sticker on my box and individual mask packaging has double layers so now, I am ready to review the product with all authenticity issues out of the way.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
Papa Recipe Bombee Honey Mask comes in a box with 10 individually packed sheet masks. Each packed sheet mask contains 1 neatly folded mask, protected within a plastic sheet.
The organic pulp mask sheet material is very thin and sheer. While the material adheres to skin well, the cutting is not perfect, with a large gap between the nose and cheeks as well as a large eye cut-out.
It has a honey scent which reminds one of Manuka Honey, rather than those sweet floral honey notes.
