Product Description
Rich in shea butter and pure honey from Provence, this creamy moisturiser is perfect for softening, protecting and nourishing hands.
Loccitane Honey Miel and Lemon Citron Hand Cream was part of my Sephora haul sometime back in a 15ml trial sized sample from the Loccitane Hand Cream Bouquet ( which also consist of Shea Butter, Cherry Blossom and Lavender hand creams ) that costs US$25.
Commonly known as Honey and Lemon Hand Cream, I thought it would smell good, at least something near to honey or lemon. But well, I was due for a big disappointment as I really hate the scent. Its just so yucky and reminded me of some coconut oil mixed with burnt incense fragrance. I like hand creams with lovely scents as its going to be something close to you when you sleep, when you type on the computer, when you are enjoying a movie, etc. You get my hint?
White in colour with just a tiny tinge of yellow in it, it resembles a milky white medium-thick consistency cream. It absorbs into the skin easily, with just a slight greasy shiny touch.
However I see no benefits in the hand cream.
It does not moisturise at all. It has no effect in softening, protecting and nourishing my dry hands. I expected better quality for the brand and the price. But since I have paid for it, I have to use it up.
I will update the post again, should there be good result to boot.

Cosmetic companies don't seem to realize that "natural" products can cause terrible allergic reactions. Why can't they make an unscented variety. I received this as a gift and I know it's expensive, but I had to tell my friend that I couldn't use it. Stinging eyes, throat hurts, head hurts and my hand is itching where I tried it. It'll take a couple of hours to wear off.
So sorry to hear that this doesn't work out for you! Hopefully you will find some better hand creams that suit your needs.
