Performance and Ingredients
Barr Cosmetics Super Green Deep Energy Cream is a lovely light gel-cream texture that absorbs quickly, leaving a soothing sensation with a subtle tackiness on the skin. Surprisingly, it stung slightly on the dehydrated area on my nostrils on the first 3 days of use but thankfully, there was no such issue thereafter.
I wasn't expecting to like this product, but I did, in the end. More suitable for oily, combination and sensitive skin, this lightweight moisturiser is perfect for my skin in humid weather like Singapore, as it left my skin soft, hydrated and plumped with a subtle shine.
It layers well with other products and I emptied the 60ml tube in 1.5 months.
The key ingredients are....
19% Mugwort Extract : Nourishes and hydrates sensitive and acne prone skin.
0.1% Panthenol : Helps form a moisture barrier to protect the skin from moisture loss.
0.1% Allantoin : Rejuvenates the skin and keeps skin smooth and soft.

My aunt gifted me with a tube of Guinot Moisturising Shower Cream recently. It has an astonishing price tag of $98 which made me wonder about the currency as I don't think anyone would actually want to pay that amount in singapore dollars for a mere 200ml shower cream.

Guinot Moisturising Shower Cream is housed in a 200ml sized tube with a lightweight lotion texture. Lightly fragranced, it lathers gently with some foam.
How To Use :
Massage into wet skin using circular movements, then rinse.
Performance and Ingredients
Guinot Moisturising Shower Cream contains Argan Oil that nourishes and smoothens the skin as well as Almond Oil to protect the skin from dehydration.
It lathers gently and foams lightly. Because of the inclusion of Sodium Laureth Sulfate, this shower cream can be drying for some people.

I needed a short break and we made the decision to travel out to Batam, Indonesia. Booked the ferry tickets, hotel and insurance all within a month.
Ferry : Horizon Fast Ferry
Hotel Stay : I Hotel Baloi
The horizon fast ferry took an hour to reach Batam Harbourbay and I do recommend one to use Gojek for cheaper cab fares.
Highly recommended by a friend, the location of the hotel was great as it was within walking distance to 2 malls ( Grand Batam Mall and Batam City Square Mall ). Perfect to shop with my parents as they can rest at the hotel whenever they are tired.
Service was great initially as they allowed me to check-in early. However, there was a baby lizard in the bathroom of my hotel room and 2 baby cockroaches in my parents' room. Not a pleasant experience.
