Evolve Organic Gentle Cleansing Melt is a luxurious cleansing balm that contains nourishing organic baobab oil that soothes and hydrates. Natural sugar extracts gently combine with water to turn into a creamy milk that rinses away clean, leaving skin clean, calm and hydrated.
After using up my last makeup remover ( Nuxe Very Rose Delicate Cleansing Oil ), it is time to look out for a new one. I had great experiences with cleansing balms ( think : Heimish All Clean Balm, Three Aiming Cleansing Balm, Kat Burki Vitamin C Nourishing Cleansing Balm, Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm and Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm ) so while looking out for a balm, Evolve Organic Beauty Gentle Cleansing Melt caught my eye!
Evolve Beauty products are lovingly handmade in small batches in their studio in Hertfordshire, England to ensure the freshness of the precious antioxidants in the natural oils, butters and extracts. All their products are vegan, cruelty free and eco-friendly.
The brand is now officially a certified B Corp! Becoming a certified B Corp means that Evolve Organic Beauty has been accredited with meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

Performance and Ingredients
Evolve Organic Beauty's motto is for one to experience the joyful everyday moments of using their products with their uplifting scents, delicious textures and effective results and indeed Evolve Organic Beauty Gentle Cleansing Melt lives up to its claims!
I look forward to using the cleansing balm every night and am disappointed that it will soon be empty. Scoop up the jelly-like cleansing balm and massage on dry face. When you add water, it emulsifies into a lightweight milk that can be easily rinsed away.
After each cleansing, my face is always left clean, soft, smooth and nourished. Love the uplifting fragrance so much too! And as expected, the eyeliner takes some effort and a cotton bud is always needed to ensure all remnants are cleared. I have yet to try on removing mascara though.
This water-free cleansing balm can be alittle gentle in its cleansing power so it might suit those who uses minimal makeup. If you are into heavy makeup, this might not be the best fit for you.
The key ingredients are....
Baobab : Well known for its amazing benefits on the skin. Various parts of the Baobab tree have been consumed since ancient times for its extremely high concentration of calcium and Vitamin C. Baobab Oil also contains high levels of protein and Vitamin A. The enriching Baobab oil nourishes, improves skin elasticity, helps to rejuvenate new skin cells and promote healing. Baobab is rich in antioxidants which protect the skin from free radical damage, and is therefore a great anti-ageing ingredient.
Vanilla : Has strong anti-oxidant properties whilst having a sweet and soothing aroma which is relaxing and calming.

Conclusion
To conclude, Evolve Organic Beauty Gentle Cleansing Melt is a lovely cleansing balm which exceeded my expectations. The uplifting scent with its jelly-like consistency provides a memorable sensorial experience that made me look forward to using it every night. This is one of my Top 22 Empties I Loved in 2022!
It is gentle, yet cleanses well, leaving skin soft and smooth. That said, this may not be the best fit for those who use heavier makeup.
