I purchased Three Aiming Trial Kit late last year which comprises of Three Aiming Cleansing Balm 18g, Three Aiming Soap 20g, Three Aiming Lotion 30ml, Three Aiming Emulsion 28ml, Three Aiming Cream 10g and Three Organic Cotton ( 6pcs ).
Note that I have given the Aiming Soap away as soaps generally do not fare particularly well for my skin type, making it tight and parched each time. I have not tried the soap so I would not be reviewing it in this post.
The brand has been on my wishlist ever since they came to Singapore so I was elated to get my hands on the kit. The whole set lasted me for about 3 weeks to 1 month.
Three has 3 skincare series under its skincare line, namely, Balancing ( balance between moisture and sebum ), Three ( basic care ) and Aiming ( anti-aging ).
A blend of fennel, geranium and rose essential oils is featured in Aiming formulas, whose uplifting aromatherapy helps women deal with hormonal turbulence. Derived from Damask rose, the rose essential oil, for instance, is a natural antidepressant that brings a feeling of happiness while nourishing and refining the skin.
A female remedy, Vitex agnus-castus from the chaste tree is taken as a supplement to alleviate symptoms of premenstrual syndrome. This led to including chasteberry extract as another key ingredient, along with white peony extract and hot spring water, in Aiming lotion, emulsion and cream.

Recommended Usage : Use a spatula to take an appropriate amount (as tiny as a grain of muscat) in your dry clean hand. Warm the balm lightly in your hand and place it in six places: neck, chin, cheeks, nose, forehead. When the balm starts to melt at body temperature, massage from the center of your face outward in a circular pattern, in order of where you placed it. When the balm becomes lightly fluffy to the touch, rinse with water or lukewarm water.
I have to admit that I purchased the set because of the cleansing balm simply because I fell in love with balms since my first Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm followed by the widely popular Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm, Kat Burki Vitamin C Nourishing Cleansing Balm and Heimish All Clean Balm. Each of them has been such a lovely experience but Three Aiming Cleansing Balm goes up a notch with its sensorial experience.
Containing 92% naturally derived ingredients and made with a blend of essential oils such as rose, which provides anti-ageing benefits, and pomegranate seed to help skin retain moisture, Three Aiming Cleansing Balm comes in a lovely tub that has a luxurious buttery formula with an absolutely-to-die-for scent. The soothing and calming scent makes such a luxurious spa-like treat at the end of a work day, to remove make-up.
Regardless if you add water to the balm on skin to emulsify or just rinse it off after massaging the balm on skin, both methods work effectively to cleanse my makeup, saving on cotton pads. My skin always feel soft, smooth and clean but I still follow up with a regular cleanser as double cleansing is a must in my skin regime.
I mainly use it on days when I wear sunscreen, or on days when I have BB cushion, BB cream, loose powder and blusher. I only tried it once on eyeliner and eye shadow ( as I don't wear it on a regular basis ) and thankfully, it did not get into the eyes or hurt the eyes. It removes the eye makeup cleanly without the need for a cotton bud.
So much love for this product and I know I would be sad once its depleted, but for now, I am enjoying the process and hoping it would last for awhile.

Three Aiming Lotion is delicately-scented with a pleasant, relaxing aroma of plants. It has a gentle, lightweight and crystal-clear texture that feels and looks more like water than lotion.
Formulated with 96% naturally derived ingredients to intensely moisturize and energize skin, it is recommended to pour the lotion on organic cotton pad, "roll" it on the skin and gently press on skin.
I use the enclosed fluffy and thick organic cotton pads for toning but unfortunately, it always left some cotton fibers behind ( on the skin ) which I don't fancy. Its a minor issue, however, coming from Three, I would expect a better experience.
Considering how expensive the product is, I prefer pouring the lotion on my palms and tap the contents on my skin as there is less wastage.
There is a slight tackiness after application and took awhile to disappear but by then, I have moved on to the emulsion, hence the tackiness is not a big issue for me. I depleted the lotion within 3 weeks, with twice a day usage.
Indeed the lotion promotes translucent skin brimming with vitality as my skin looked clearer and better prepped for the next step - emulsion. Unfortunately, it contains alcohol as the 6th ingredient which I prefer to do without.

Its a joy using the emulsion which hydrates my skin sufficiently well and if its insufficient on severely dehydrated skin, I can always top up with the cream. Skin always feel smooth, supple and plump. Note that alcohol is in the middle of the ingredient list.

Its best to apply in the night due to the heavy texture but I also use it during the day occasionally, when I feel that my skin is dehydrated.
The soothing and calming scent is as divine as the cleansing balm and the emulsion so its such a pleasant experience in applying the cream. Apply sparingly as too much may lead to an oily surface after several hours.
My skin feels much more comforted and deeply moisturized with the addition of the cream as the last step although I didn't really like the shine on my T-zone after about 2 hours. It also works pretty well as a spot treatment on flaky areas, like the nose wings. Note that alcohol is found in the last 1/3 of the ingredient list.
I prefer to use it on its own, without the emulsion as the layering gets too heavy for my skin type. My skin is very soft, smooth and supple as though there is a film on top.

Three Aiming Trial Kit which consists of the cleansing balm, lotion, emulsion, cream and organic cotton pads would be great as a travel set and for those with normal and dry or dehydrated skin. The lotion and emulsion would still be suitable for most skin types but the shine that comes with the cream may be too much for those with combination and oily skin.
Alcohol is included in the lotion, emulsion and cream so if you are allergic to it, you may want to take note.
Of all the 4 products, I love the cleansing balm the most, because its what I came for, and thankfully it does not disappoint. I adore the divine scent for Three and its such a lovely sensorial experience that I tried convincing myself that its worth the price.
