Have you been enjoying my reviews for IDS products? For those who have missed out, here are my reviews on IDS Refreshing Cleanser (C1), Refreshing Toner (T1) and Intensive Moisturizer (IM), IDS Moisturizer and Recovery Serum and IDS Delicate Cleanser, C-Plus and Dermashield Serum.
My last 2 IDS products are IDS Facial Scrub (FS) and Non-Tinted Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA+++ (S2). Lets delve down to see if they are my favourites....

IDS Facial Scrub (FS) contains ultra-fine crystals that effectively exfoliate dead skin cells and speed up skin turnover. It also helps in clearing out impurities and absorbing excess oil. The result is skin that’s cleaner, more radiant and even-toned as well as soft and smooth to the touch. It is so gentle you can use it daily.

- Regulates sebum production
How To Use :
1) After cleansing, apply a small amount to damp face and neck.
2) Gently massage skin in a circular motion, adding water as necessary.
3) Rinse thoroughly.
Tip : Use 2 ~ 3 times a week, or more if desired.
It is always important to exfoliate your skin to remove dead skin cells and prep it for the application of other skincare products. For the past year, I had been enjoying Krave Beauty Kale-Lalu-yAHA and Dr. Wu Daily Renewal Serum which worked like chemical exfoliators so physical scrubs like IDS Facial Scrub no longer excites me although it still work to exfoliate skin.
Ideal for oily and/or blemish-prone skin, IDS Facial Scrub is one of IDS's highly popular products as they are touted to be gentle enough for daily use. Other than using on its own, the facial scrub can also be mixed in with a regular cleanser.
Manufactured in USA, the product is housed in a 50ml plastic tube for easy dispensing. It has an overpowering scent which I don't fancy. The jojoba beads are tiny and provide a good exfoliation for the skin.
Pores are clean and smaller while my skin is left clean, clear and super smooth that I can't help touching it. However, despite it being touted as a gentle scrub, I still think its too much to be exfoliating our skin daily.
The key ingredient is....
Jojoba Esters (microbeads) : Spherical shaped ( the edges of the beads are smooth ) micro-beads that help to clear pores without causing microscopic tears on skin.
Sodium Bicarbonate, PEG-8, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Magnesium Carbonate, Jojoba Esters (Beads), PEG-100 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, Propylparaben, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Fragrance/Parfum, Bismuth Oxychloride, Mica, Chromium Hydroxide Green, Magnesium Stearate.
IDS Non-Tinted Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA+++ (S2) is a non-tinted sunscreen which is an ultra-lightweight daily skin protector designed to provide clear, specific, best-in-class suite of must-have wellness and prevention benefits.
With broad-spectrum, mineral-based sun protection, patented pollution and blue light protection, and an anti-oxidant enhancement, each application is a daily health boost.

How To Use :
1) Squeeze tube gently and apply sunscreen evenly onto the face.
2) Repeat for better protection.
Tip : Re-apply every 1-2 hours when there is prolonged sun exposure, after towel-drying and/or after swimming or sweating. Shake well before use.
IDS Non-Tinted Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA+++ has been on my wish list for awhile so I was elated to receive it from IDS during a recent collaboration. I fell in love with the product, upon my first use, as I really love the lightweight texture and the subtle glow finishing.
Manufactured in USA, the non-tinted sunscreen comes in a 50ml plastic tube with a pointed tip dispenser. Unfortunately, the packaging is poorly formulated as it always pool around the cap, wasting the product.
You have to store the product upright all the time, as the moment it is in a down position, it just leaked, leaving stains in my drawer where I store the product. In fact, you don't even have to squeeze the tube, you just hold it downright and the contents just ooze out for use.
IDS Non-Tinted Sunscreen SPF 50+ has a lightweight fluid formula with a slight silicon-y texture that glides on skin easily. It has a subtle scent and applies with a light white cast. Non-sticky, non-greasy with a dewy glow finishing, how can one not love it?
What is great about this sunscreen is that it protects skin from 99 per cent of UV radiation and is fragrance-free, paraben-free and cruelty-free. It is formulated with IDS’ patented Zinc Oxide technology, designed to effectively deliver antioxidant and anti-pollution properties to ensure protection from UV damage on the skin.
It also offers protection against visible (blue) light where it is said to block more than 35 per cent of blue light (this speeds up ageing) that emits from electronic screens.
The product is a winner for the Best Sunscreen with Blue Light Protection in Her World Beauty Awards 2021 and is also featured in my Top 21 Beauty Empties I Loved in 2021.
