The re-newed Timetreasure Invigorating Line has twice enriched Red Pine DAA, using the leaves of 50-years-old Geumgang Pine of Uljin. The travel sizes were gifted with my Sulwhasoo purchases and I was elated to be able to try this anti-aging line, especially considering they were pretty expensive so travel sizes are a great way to consider if its worth investing in the full sizes.
The set comes with Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Invigorating Water 25ml, Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Invigorating Serum 4ml, Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Invigorating Emulsion 25ml , Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Invigorating Sleeping Mask 15ml, Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Invigorating Cream 4ml and Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Invigorating Eye Cream 4ml.
Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Invigorating Water is a highly-concentrated, boosting toner formulated with potent amounts of Korean red pine and precious herbs like shitake mushroom and dried ginger root to infuse skin with deep moisture.
How To Use :
1) Pour three to five drops of the Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Invigorating Water into your palms in the morning and evening and pat onto clean skin right after First Care Activating Serum.
2) To intensify the formula's effects, gently pat for better absorption.
Designed to add intense yet lightweight moisture, this unique formula contains the rare DAA extracted from Korean Red Pine to provide anti-oxidant benefits, help improve overall texture and tone, and soften the look of fine lines. With its signature water-to-serum consistency, this whisper-weight formula nourishes skin to give it a radiant, plump glow.
The 25ml travel size has an overwhelming red pine fragrance with a hint of alcohol scent which I don't fancy while the cloudy colour reminds one of sake with a milky consistency.
As a toner and inappropriately named as "water", I was expecting it to be of the lightest texture and easiest to layer under products but unfortunately, it proved to be rich for my skin type, always leaving a greasy sheen in its place, no matter how I tried to pair with different serums or moisturisers.
With prolonged usage, I noticed that the alcohol scent had became stronger while the red pine fragrance had reduced significantly. That said, Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Invigorating Water did left my skin softer after every use but thats about it.
Overall, this anti-aging toner was alittle too rich for my skin type in humid weather and I failed to see any spectacular effects other than softer skin.

How To Use :
1) Every morning and evening, sweep one to two pumps of this antioxidant skin serum onto face and neck, patting gently as you go.

Formulated with Korean red pine and precious wild simulated ginseng extracts, this power-packed serum firms, nourishes and hydrates. A barrier-boosting complex featuring a concentrated dose of rare DAA extracted from Korean red pine helps visibly smooth and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time.
I have been using a 4ml Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Invigorating Serum twice a day for a week and enjoyed this much more than its Invigorating Water and Invigorating Emulsion.
The texture looked concentrated but is more lightweight than expected without being too greasy and the scent was not overwhelming. It felt luxurious and applies with a subtle cooling sensation.
Pairing it after Invigorating Water and before Invigorating Emulsion was too rich for my skin type, leaving a greasy sheen with the potential to break out as I noticed a red spot on the nose where new zits are likely to be formed. I "nabbed" it with IDS Pore Formula and the red spot disappeared.
Pairing it with E Nature Rice Essential Tone-Starter and The Vegan Glow Good Night Cream wasn't ideal too, as my skin turned slightly oily after 3 hours, unless I skipped the Good Night Cream.
I found the ideal routine eventually - using the serum after Jus Eoseongcho Toner and before Timetreasure Emulsion for Day and again, after Jus Eoseongcho Toner and before Timetreasure Sleeping Mask for Night.
The 4ml size lasted me for 7 days - skin was hydrated, nourished and there was an overall resilience and vitality. My complexion looked more "alive" and less dull. I noticed the moment I removed it from my routine, skin was rough and dehydrated on the nose area.

The 25ml travel size has an overpowering scent which was too much for me to bear. Even though the texture was a typical consistency of an emulsion without being too rich, it still came across as too greasy for my combination skin.
There was an oily sheen on my T-zone after 2.5 hours of wear and I also developed 2 tiny bumps on the left cheek after 2 days of usage. That said, Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Invigorating Emulsion did left my skin soft and smooth with a silicon-y texture.
I used it for the decollete area thereafter, as I just didn't fancy the greasy sheen on face.

1) Brush on a thin layer to the face and neck a few times a week in place of your evening moisturizer.
2) Leave it on overnight and rinse off in the morning.

This overnight antioxidant face mask contains a potent cocktail of concentrated Korean red pine and apricot kernel extracts that cocoon the complexion in nourishing moisture. Plant-based extracts from adlay seed and mulberry infused overnight mask leave a revitalized and strengthened complexion while refining rough texture and softening fine lines so that you wake up looking refreshed and radiant.
The full retail size comes in a tub with a brush for application, while the 15ml size I owned comes in a tube. It has the same luxury vibe as what one will associate the brand with. Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Invigorating Sleeping Mask can be used in place of an evening moisturizer or as as a quick pick-me-up for dull, dry skin where you apply a thick layer to the face and neck, leave on for 20 minutes and towel off any excess with a warm cloth.
The Sleeping Mask has a nice smooth texture which reminded me vaguely of Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask. White in colour, it has a slightly tacky but emollient texture that took awhile to be absorbed into the skin, however, the heavy floral-herbal fragrance may not be a hit for some. It looks and feels creamy but is lightweight-creamy in application.
The Timetreasure range is considered rich for my combination-dehydrated skin type so I have to try pairing with different products to find the best way to use it. My preferred routine is using it after Jus Eoseongcho Toner and Timetreasure Invigorating Serum where I treat this sleeping mask as a moisturizer.
The sleeping mask left my skin soft and smooth instantly and by the following morning, I noticed my skin looked clearer, fresher and healthier, as though I had a good sleep the night before. I also like that its nourishing for the skin, although it may get alittle shiny on my T-zone after 3 hours of wear which is expected for my skin type ( so long its not overly shiny ). Note that, using it alone is not hydrating enough for my skin type, so a hydrating toner or serum is highly recommended.
For now, I am using it as a regular moisturizer as I don't like to use it as a overnight mask in humid weather like Singapore, but if I get to travel overseas, I might use it that way.
That said, the price is not really for the faint-hearted so if you are really curious, just get the sample set to try out first.
And just to add on, Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Invigorating Sleeping Mask was awarded as the Best Anti-aging Sleeping Mask in Bazaar Beauty Awards 2019 so it may just work even better for you.
