Hailing from Korea, Cremorlab prides itself on using thermal water from Geumjin that contains energy from ancient, pollution-and-stress-free natural environments and features high rare minerals contents. It uses a new name - T.E.N. which stands for Thermal Water Therapy, Eco Energy, and Natural Nourishment and is said to improve skin and hair with its mineral-rich contents. You can read more about it on Cremorlab website. Their products do not contain paraben, mineral oil, petrolatum, benzophenone and artificial colouring.
Benefits of T.E.N Mineral Water :
- concentrated moisture
- supply of nutrients
- relieves stressed skin conditions
- improves skin's elasticity
- balances skin's water and oil ratio
- ample hydration
- strengthen skin barrier
Herb Tea Pure Calming Mask uses Tencel sheet, which is an eco-friendly fabric with excellent adherence to skin, that retains water and delivers deep moisture deep into the skin. Thanks to Tangs Beauty Box which created awareness for the brand and I get to try out the mask from its Mask Collection Set. They have a different set every month so keep a lookout for it. You can check it here.
The packaging is a sweet pastel pink which exudes a feminine vibe, however, the fonts are white in colour which makes reading it extremely difficult due to the low contrast. I wondered if those who came up with such a poor idea, do actually try to read it, like how a consumer does.
The material is thin, sheer and slightly stretchy, however the cutting is not a perfect fit, with a gap between the cheeks and nose and a larger eye cutout area, hence leaving the undereye area uncovered. There is a strong fragrance when I was layering the mask on my face although it dissipates after a short while.
Prior to using the Herb Tea Pure Calming Mask, I was using Handmade Heroes Beauty Warrior Hibiscus Vitamin C Boost Face Mask as an exfoliating mask which left my face slightly irritated and red on some areas so it was a good chance for me to see if Cremorlab Herb Tea Pure Calming Mask did soothe red and sensitive skin.
Unfortunately, the mask failed to soothe and calm down the redness although it did hydrate my skin moderately well.
