Sea buckthorn is a plant where the leaves, flowers, seeds and fruits are used to make medicine. Some people apply sea buckthorn berries, berry concentrate, and berry or seed oil directly to the skin for preventing sunburn; for treating radiation damage from x-rays and sunburns; for healing wounds including bedsores, burns, and cuts; for acne, dermatitis, dry skin, eczema, skin ulcers, and skin color changes after giving birth; and for protecting mucus membranes.
In food, sea buckthorn berries are used to make jellies, juices, purees, and sauces while in manufacturing, sea buckthorn is used in cosmetics and anti-aging products.

A'pieu My Skin Fit Sheet Mask ( Buckthorn ) is paraben-free, sulfate-free, alcohol-free and silicone-free. It uses a material known as Tencel, which is made from eco-friendly synthetic fiber obtained from eucalyptus pulp with extremely soft texture and high air-permeability. It is thin and fully soaked with essence.
The cutting of the sheet mask did not cover the undereye area, has a short and narrow nose flap which did not fully cover the sides and has a common gap between the nose and cheek area.
The Buckthorn Sheet Mask is cooling, refreshing and comfortable on the skin. I used it twice in a day recently, when my face was alittle irritated with slight spotchiness and lacking in moisture in the morning and thereafter, in the evening, after a 3 hours walk in the nature reserve.
Unfortunately, after a 20 minute masking treatment, it did not soothe the redness on my skin, although my skin was moderately hydrated. Among all the sheet masks in the A'pieu Skin Fit series, I will highly recommend the Baobab variant because my skin really drinks up all the moisture.
