I am always in need of eye masks to keep my peepers looking good so when I chanced upon the Morishita Ravis Overnight Eye Mask, a drugstore brand from Japan, I thought why not?
Under eye patches are convenient and travel-friendly - they can be used right after shower while you kept yourself busy with the usual preparation before work and remove when its time to apply your usual skincare.
Alternatively, they are great for after-work when you are at home lounging, reading or doing your housework chores.
Ravis Overnight Eye Mask is dry and has a thin foam-y material. The adhesive backing ensures that it sticks well to the skin without any movement while you sleep. Overnight Eye Mask is also the last step of your skincare regime, slapped it onto the undereye area and goes to sleep.
Initially, I was not aware that Morishita Ravis Overnight Eye Mask was meant to be used overnight, as the instructions were all in Japanese. I layered the crescent moon shaped patches for 2 hours in the day, experienced a slight itch and removed it. There is a stickiness, left behind by the adhesive backing of the eye mask, which I do see a need to cleanse it off with water.
The next few times, I applied it during the night for 4 hours and removed it again. I guess I am not used to having something on the face, while I am sleeping. Its a matter of personal preference.
A pack consists of 5 pairs which I used it over several weeks but yet to see any difference to my undereye area. Could it be because I did not use it for more than 6 hours?
