1) Bilberry + Blackcurrents For Tired Looking Eyes
Your blinking baby blues are the windows to your soul – and an unforgiving reflection of your accelerated age. Consider chowing on some bilberry and blackcurrants, both of which are purported to ease eye strain and reduce redness for perkier peepers.
2) Seaweed For Brightening Sallow Skin Of A Fatigued Face
The most direct beautifying benefits stem from seaweed’s stress-alleviating stockpile of riboflavin and pantothenic acids. These B-vitamins bolster your body against fatigue by fortifying your adrenal glands, helping to soothe stress-induced skin sallowness, so don’t forget to eat your sea veggies!

Review : Beyond Ultra Hydro Mask
Thursday, March 23, 2017
Product Description
This 100% cotton mask sheet is soaked in a bottle of essence full of extensin, a phyto protein similar to collagen in skin, which tightens the skin and enhances elasticity.
The 2 sheets of Beyond Ultra Hydro Mask came from my last haul from TesterKorea. The brand is relatively unknown in Singapore so it was apt to get it online. Beyond is said to be against animal testing and contains minimum chemical fragrance and colorants.
Looking at the name of the mask itself, one would have thought that its a hydrating mask until you read the product description and realized it is said to tighten the skin. Unfortunately, I don't have the ingredient list to assess if it contains collagen or hyaluronic acid so as to decipher the correct function of this mask.
That said, my experience of using the mask has been average. The material is good which is thick enough to withstand accidental tears during application, however, it doesn't adhere very well to skin with excess flaps flapping out.
The fragrance was alittle too strong for my likes. Hydration capability was pretty average. My skin feels plump right after application but it doesn't last beyond a night.

Review : Acure Organics Sensitive Skin Body Wash
Tuesday, March 14, 2017
Product Description
Even the most sensitive skin will love our deep moisturizing body wash. CoQ10 and argan stem cells absorb deeply to replenish lost moisture. Serious, soothing hydration that rinses clean and feels fantastic.
Well, the description states that even the most sensitive skin will love Acure Organics Sensitive Skin Body Wash or so I thought. How wrong am I!
Review : Sukin Energising Body Scrub With Coffee & Coconut
Saturday, March 11, 2017
Product Description
Utilising indulgent and aromatic coffee extracts and coconut shell, this body exfoliant works to effectively polish and stimulate the surface of the skin. Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil and Jojoba Oil provide lasting hydration that will soften the skin's appearance for a smooth complexion. Added Rose Hip and Vitamin E provide important antioxidants and nutrients to maintain a healthy glow. Paraben Free.
I picked up the Sukin Energising Body Scrub With Coffee and Coconut from Melbourne at AUD12.95 last year. Unlike most scrubs which are abrasive and harsh on skin, this sukin body scrub is creamy and gentle, perfect for sensitive skin.
The coconut and coffee scent is subtle and does not leave a lingering smell on skin. And because of its creamy texture, the scrub does not make a mess on the bathroom floor, commonly found in dry body scrub.
It exfoliates gently without any after-drying or oily-greasy feel. And while I wouldn't peg it as the smoothest skin after each exfoliation, I do foresee that it would be handy during drying and sensitive skin days.

Each pair of Pure Smile Eye Patch retails for $1.89 on Japan Skin and I bought 2 pairs of them when there was a 15% discount.
True to its Japan origins, the whole packaging has a cuteness overload theme. Even the eye patches are unique, with a cursive heart shaped motif. Made up of 98% hydro gel material, the texture is cold and jelly-like with a sticky sensation on skin, which makes it adhere well.
Unfortunately, I did not see a difference to my undereye area after using it once a week.
You can try out other eye masks from the same brand on Amazon

Key Ingredients in POMMISST:

I was delighted when I received a bottle of Jane Iredale Pommisst Hydration Spray from my aunt recently. One of the brands which has always been on my radar but never really get to try them out.
Made in USA, the 90ml handy sized red bottle has a light refreshing sweet pomegranate scent that is hardly bothersome. The fine mist makes it an ideal toner after cleansing my face and just before my serum and moisturiser application.
