[ Review ] Shiseido Extra Rich Cleansing Milk

Shiseido Extra Rich Cleansing Milk Review
Product Description
Luxuriously clean. Shiseido Extra Rich Cleansing Milk is soap-free, so it's perfect for dry skin. Transforms into an airy lather to remove impurities. Lifts away excess surface cells, pollutants and oxidized substances that can cause skin to age. Yet leaves skin moisturized and protected by a veil of hydration—the right environment to support its inner defenses. For a soft, plumped and dewy feel.

Being a fan of cleansing milks, I purchased Shiseido Extra Rich Cleansing Milk from Beautyfresh last year, unfortunately, this wasn't the one for me.

I had a good experience with their White Lucent Power Brightening Mask previously so it was a bummer that the cleanser wasn't a good fit for my skin type.

[ Review ] Shiseido Tsubaki Premium Hair Mask

Product Description
Shiseido Tsubaki Premium Hair Mask is an Instant Rinse-Off Repair Treatment which contains Camellia Oil and Royal Jelly that deeply penetrates into the hair for to provide and lock in nutrients for sustained effects of salon treatment.

My hair has been getting dry with frequent hair colouring at every 6-7 weeks so my sister recommended Shiseido Tsubaki Premium Hair Mask which she has been using for several years. It has been 4 years since I last tried a Shiseido product.

Founded in 1872, Shiseido started out as a Western-style pharmacy in Tokyo, Japan. In 1897, Shiseido introduced Eudermine, a softening lotion that marked the brand's shift to a cosmetics company. Today, the Shiseido company houses a range of cosmetics brands offering skin care, makeup, fragrances and beauty accessories like eyelash curlers.

Review : Shiseido White Lucent Power Brightening Mask

Review for Shiseido White Lucent Power Brightening Mask
Product Description
A powerful brightening face mask inspired by iontophoresis, a beauty treatment that saturates skin with a generous amount of beneficial ingredients to target spots and discoloration. A brilliant solution for radiant skin while diminishing the appearance of dark spots. Skin is bright, refreshed and moisturized.
  • Soothes damaged skin with moisture
  • Mask fits around facial contours, sealing in the mask essence for an optimal brightening effect

After a day out with my niece under the scorching hot sun at Gardens By The Bay, its time to replenish my skin with a brightening mask and Shiseido White Lucent Power Brightening Mask immediately comes to my mind. You can read my past reviews on Shiseido White Lucent Luminizing Infuser, Shiseido White Lucent Microtargeting Spot Corrector, White Lucent Luminizing Surge and White Lucent Multibright Night Cream.

Formulated without parabens, sulfates and phthalates, Shiseido White Lucent Power Brightening Mask is said to deliver the whitening ingredients deep into the skin through the power of Ion Force Technology, resulting in highly effective results.

The White Lucent Power Brightening Mask is made of a thick material and heavily soaked with essence, with an artificial odd scent that lingers. Unlike other masks, this sheet mask has no cutouts around the nose hence there is no gap, which is a good consideration, however the cutout at the eye area is pretty large, leaving the undereye area uncovered.

After a 25 minute treatment masking session, I can see my skin is literally glowing with radiance. My skin is softer, smoother and brighter looking.

If you have been looking for an effective brightening mask, Shiseido White Lucent Power Brightening Mask would be a good one to try. However, the price is high, so I would recommend you to reserve it for certain days when you really need to look good. If price is not a concern, go ahead and splurge on yourself - after all, that is what you work hard for.

Recommended for dark spots, dryness, dullness and uneven texture, Shiseido White Lucent MultiBright Night Cream was a pleasure to use, comes night time. I was glad the night cream wasn't oily or too rich for my skin and I actually look forward to using it every night.

Review : Shiseido White Lucent Luminizing Surge ( Emulsion )

Product Description
It maintains the brightening benefits for perfectly radiant skin.
Featuring Luminizing Surge Technology, this emulsion protects the skin from external aggressors such as dryness while creating a naturally luminous look with intensive brightening ingredient 4MSK.

・Features SAKURAResist Technology. With continued use, skin becomes resistant to dark spot appearance.
・Alcohol free, this emulsion is gentle to the skin.

When I first started on the new Shiseido White Lucent range, I actually thought the Shiseido White Lucent Luminizing Surge ( Emulsion ) was meant for day use and used it for several consecutive days but found it to be too heavy for day use. It was too rich and left a shiny appearance on skin, which I didn't quite like it.

Review : Shiseido White Lucent MicroTargeting Spot Corrector ( Serum )

Product Description
Helps correct dark spots at once to brighten the overall tone, for perfectly radiant skin.
MicroTarget Technology intensively targets each spot, suppressing melanin production and accelerating turnover of the skin surface cells holding excess melanin.

Benefits :
・Features SAKURAResist Technology, which suppresses melanin production signals induced by UV rays.
・Formulated with Super Hydro-Synergy Complex which supplies moisture and improves skin texture.

While it is always recommended to use the entire line for efficacy, the star product in the White Lucent range is this Shiseido White Lucent MicroTargeting Spot Corrector ( Serum ) where it is said to optimise the skin's turnover rate without damaging normal skin. It helps to lighten existing spots, even skin tone and boost radiance.

Review : Shiseido White Lucent Luminizing Infuser ( Essence Lotion )

Product Description
Double Strike PROApproachx2 brightening technology. Target spots with laser speed. Resist the appearance of spots over time.

A beautifully bright complexion can be yours with this essence-rich brightening softener. By gently and deeply infusing the skin surface with intensive brightening ingredients, the signs of dark spots are visibly reduced while skin feels fully hydrated and relieved from external stresses. Helps prepare skin to become more receptive to additional brightening treatments.
Can be used before and after brightening cosmetic procedures such as laser spot removal.

  • Deep Infuse Technology boosts penetration of intensive brightening ingredients into the skin surface.
  • Features SAKURAResist Technology with Sakura from Japanese cherry blossoms to help skin become resistant to dark spot appearance.
  • To use: smooth over face after cleansing.

I redeemed a complimentary Shiseido trial set recently, which I thought was a good marketing gimmick for one to try the "almost" whole series before committing to the full size.

The trial set consists of 7ml Shiseido Luminizing Infuser ( Essence Lotion ), 5ml Shiseido MicroTargeting Spot Corrector ( Serum), 7ml Shiseido Luminizing Surge ( Emulsion ) and 5ml Shiseido MultiBright Night Cream.

Shiseido Aquair Deep Moist Hair Treatment Lotion

Product Description
Convenient and ultra-moisturizing, Aquair Deep Moist Hair Treatment Lotion provides an immediate fix for dry and frizzy hair. Glycerin-enriched hair lotion deeply permeates hair strands to repair and nourish damaged cuticles resulting in soft and shiny hair. Delicate floral scent gently perfumes hair, removing the stench of cigarette smoke and pollution.

I purchased the Shiseido Aquair Deep Moist Hair Treatment Lotion from Japan some time back. Always love shopping for beauty products overseas, just to see what I have been missing out.

Heavily fragranced, this hair treatment lotion is conveniently packed in a spray bottle for easy dispensing all over my hair. I usually use it in the morning, before applying my curling lotion. It helps to keep my hair soft but healthy-looking.

Conditioner Description
A gentle conditioner with a mild fragrance, protects your hair with Vitamin E with a rich creamy lather. For you, an ahhhh-mazingly scent and a pump bottle. Keep it in the shower, use it every day for Happy, Healthy Hair!

Benefits :
Double super moist vitamin E protects your hair from dryness and friction.
Cuticle protector locks in important nutrients in the hair.
Clean, mild fragrance makes it perfect for men and women.

I picked the trial sized products of 50ml each during my last Hainan Island trip.
Slightly lighter in texture than Shiseido Aquair Deep Moist Hair Shampoo, the shampoo foams well with lots of lathering to boot and the name of the shampoo definitely fits its description as my hair turned greasy within a day.

I have an oily scalp and this pair of products do not fit my hair needs. I need to use it twice a day, once in the morning and once before I sleep and still, my hair turns greasy by early evening. Its just too mild for an oily scalp like mine.

The conditioner is lightweight but creamy in texture. It does not make a difference to conditioning my hair, as I did not experience significant benefits in adding the conditioner to my hair regime.

Both the shampoo and conditioner did not make my hair softer or more moisturised than normal. Its just a medicore performance, as far as my hair is concerned.

The shampoo scored 4.8 from 25 users on Makeupalley.
The conditioner scored 4.6 from 25 users on Makeupalley.

Conditioner Description
Formulated for repairing damaged hair and coats them to prevent further damages. Coating repairing ingredients work from core of hair to cuticle.

I purchased both the shampoo and conditioner in a travel-kit size of 50ml each, in Watsons from Hainan Island. Made in Japan, both the shampoo and conditioner made my hair super soft and smooth with a signature lingering scent.

White in colour, the shampoo has a smooth consistency that lathers very well on the hair, making it soft and smooth. The conditioner has a creamy texture that adds softness and slightly more moisture to the hair.
Both are paired up, to give maximum softness and added fluffiness to the hair. Without the conditioner, I felt that my hair is not that moisturised.

Review : Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Moisturising Cream

Product Description
A brightening nighttime moisturizer that revitalizes skin after daily exposure to external stressors such as UV rays and dryness. Improves skin texture to optimize skin's clarity and promote inner radiance.
Recommended for dry skin, this product is specially developed with Shiseido original Multi-Target Vitamin C and Spot Deacti-Complex for whitening result. It also contains Tranexamic Acid to prevent dark spots. Blending with Super-Hydro Synergy Complex to deeply moisturize and refine skin's texture for softer, smoother skin. With Erythritol, Apricot Extracts, and Super Hydro-Synergy Complex, the product helps to normalize cell turnover to retexturize skin.

This is the last product from the Shiseido kit I gotten as a Xmas gift from a good friend of mine. Initially I thought it may be too rich for me, hence I did not use it together with the rest of the products.

I usually rotate my products according to my needs and follow up with consistent usage. For the past 2 months, I have been blessed with blemish-free skin so I was trying to get whitening care back into my regime.

I used the moisturising cream as a night cream and initially, it appeared to be too rich for my skin as my skin turns greasy and shiny upon application.
Thereafter, I tried to apply with a light hand or spray a facial mist prior to using the cream and it works pretty fine for me.

White in colour, the cream has a slippery feel and is slightly rich in texture. It contains Dimethicone hence the smoother feel to the skin. My skin appeared more even-toned, dewy and smoother the following morning.
Note that alcohol is the 4th ingredient on the list, definitely too high a concentration.

During the 2 months of almost daily usage, the texture of my skin looks better and pores on my nose seemed more refined. That said, I have to mention that I am also using other products so the refined pores on my nose may not neccessarily due to just this product alone.
Yet, the results differ after 2 months as my skin turned back to its dull state though the pores on my nose still maintain its refined state.

It scored 3.1 from 32 users on Makeupalley

Ingredients
Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Alcohol, Pentaerythrityl Tetraethylhexanoate, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Simmondsla Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Behenyl alcohol, Dimethicone, Tranexamic Acid, PEG-60 Glyceryl Isostearate, Stearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Petrolatum, Glyceryl Diisostearate, Microcrystalline Wax (Cera Microcristallina), Phenoxyethanol, Polyvinyl Alcohol, PEG/PPG-1417 Dimethyl Ether, Fragrance (Parfum), Erythritol, PEG/PPG-1714 Dimethyl Ether, 2-0-Ethylascorbic Acid, Citric Acid, Sodium Metaphosphate, Limonene, Sodium Metabisulfite, Phytosterylioctyldodecyl Lauroyl Glutamate, Benzyl Benzoate, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene, Carboxaldehyde, Sodium Hyaluronate, Linalool, Iron Oxides (CI 77492), Serine, Glucosyl Hesperidin, Tocopherol, Iron Oxides (CI 77491).

Review : Shiseido Aqualabel Reset White Mask

Review for Shiseido Aqualabel Reset White Mask

Product Description
An intensive whitening care mask that targets the root of pigmentations and spots by soothing skin inflammation found near them and inhibits excessive melanin production and brightens skin from within by removing dead skin cells and excess melanin.

Benefits :
- Clear up sun spots, wind damage and fine lines
- Contains cooling properties to relieve redness and discomfort caused by sunburn

I purchased this box, together with the Aqualabel Moist Charge Mask in Watsons sometime back. Similar to the moisturising mask, this sheet mask is recommended to be used for maximum 10 minutes as it is purported to be able to provide immediate effect on the skin.

It is said that each mask contains 18ml of whitening essence which is equivalent to half a bottle of beauty essence that provides intensive whitening care and helps skin to recover from UV-damage.
It contains "m-tranexamic acid", an effective whitening ingredient which helps to whitens as it inhibits melanin production. It also contains double hyaluronic acid.

The cut-out areas are small, especially for the eyes and around the lips, so some adjusting need to be done. The material of the mask is thick and sturdy the slits provide a better fit to the skin. It has a small flap for the eyes that you can pull back for a relaxing eye mask experience.

It is made up of a sturdy thick material that won't tear easily. There is a strong alcohol scent so using it for only 10 minutes is reassuring enough. The whitening effects are hardly apparent though.

Shiseido Maquillage Nail Color RS722 with Kanebo Coffret Dor Jewelight Nail Color PK153

I purchased both nail polishes at different times from Adambeauty several months ago. I wasn't too keen on Maquillage RS722 when I tried it because the colour was too dull for my liking.
However, recently on a whim, I decided to layer it with Coffret D'or PK153 and that made a big difference. In fact, I really like how the glitters from PK153 are set against RS722. A very sweet feminine match in heaven.

One layer of RS722 that is easy to apply without much smudges. The light rose pink colour has a runny texture that applies easily with its dense brush.

Addition of the next layer with PK153.
PK153 has lots of glitter that adheres well on the nails without being messy. Even after 2 days of wear, there is no chip at all.

Kanebo Coffret D'or Jewelight Nail Color PK153 US$8.50
Shiseido Maquillage Nail Color RS722 HK$59

Removing it with a nail polish remover is slightly tougher than removing the normal nail polishes without the glitter. I literally used up 4 cotton pads for both hands. Then again, I am an klutz when it comes in nail polish.

Review : Shiseido Aqualabel Moist Charge Mask

Review for Shiseido Aqualabel Moist Charge Mask

Product Description
This moisture rich facial mask is infused with collagen and hyaluronic acid, deeply hydrating ingredients that fully penetrate the skin’s inner layers to deliver moisture right where it is needed the most. Recommended for dry and stressed skin types. It is colorant-free and dermatologist tested.

I bought a box of 4pieces, at literally a steal at S$11++ where the original retail price is $22++. Savings at Watsons!

I have been using it almost everyday this week because my skin has been feeling abit taut at times after using Biore Make-up remover. The material of the sheet mask is thick and there are slits at the cheeks and nose to make it a comfortable fit on the skin.

It also comes with eye flaps which you can fold up or down, for your preference. It has a tiny little gap between the eye flap and facial sheet. Perhaps suitable for those who dislike having the whole flap to cover the eye area.

The mask is touted to be an intensive care mask that instantly achieves moisturized, resilient skin in just 5 minutes. It also comes with S-shape cuts for a lifting effect.
It can exert its full effect in 5 minutes but the maximum recommended time is 10minutes if one really want to use it for a longer time. I like that its fuss-free and convenient where 10mins is all I need.

There is a slight alcohol scent though, which I rather do without. After each treatment, my skin does feel hydrated and rested.

Review : Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Protective Moisturizer SPF16

Product Description
A daytime moisturizer that provides exceptional brightening benefits as it protects skin from the harmful effects of UVA/UVB rays and dryness. Ensures a smooth, evenly luminous complexion. Specially developed with Shiseido-original Dual-Target Vitamin C and Spot Deacti-Complex. Offers daylong protection against UV rays and keeps skin looking ‘plumped' and vibrant. Contains Brightening Powder with light reflecting properties to enhance the natural luminosity of skin and minimize dullness. Formulated with Asian plant extracts to improve moisture balance and smooth skin. Absorbs instantly to leave skin feeling fresh and comfortable. Recommended for all skin types. Use every morning after cleanser and softener.

As part of a Christmas set gift which a good friend of mine gave me, I have been using this product as a daily morning moisturiser for more than a month. I don't use many whitening products because they are usually not hydrating enough for my skin and I will usually experience some flakiness after a while. My whitening products usually only revolve around spot correctors, masks or toners. Occasionally I do use whitening serums but I don't go all out to specifically buy a whitening serum. In contrast, hydration is very important to me.

I owned the 15ml size. It has a typical Shiseido floral scent, light yellow in colour and slightly creamy in texture
Using it alone, is not hydrating enough though I do find the hydration level is slightly better than what I have experienced with other whitening products. I don't experience flakiness till after more than a week usage.

I don't fancy its texture initially because it feels and looks heavy to me but is actually lightweight and runny in texture. Don't let the outlook fools you. It absorbs well but leaves a very thin film on the upper layer of the skin.

Having a SPF16 in a moisturiser is a bonus but I will still top up with a sunscreen because SPF16 is just not enough in our humid weather. And because its not hydrating enough, I use a serum prior to using this whitening moisturiser.

I did not see a brightening effect, either immediate after application or after a month's usage despite its claims but I do see that my skin tone is getting more even and a subtle improvement on my dark spots.

On Total Beauty, it scored 8.7 from 7 users. On Makeupalley, it scored 3.6 from 65 users.

Review : Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Refining Softener Enriched N

Product Description
A luxurious lotion that softens and exfoliates skin

  • Helps eliminate appearance of visible spots, freckles and dullness
  • Contains AE complex to maximize delivery of beneficial ingredients to skin
  • Formulated with Asian plant extracts to enhance moisture balance
  • Leaves skin smooth, dewy fresh, radiant and healthy
  • Suitable for normal to dry skin

  • This was part of a Christmas set which a close friend of mine gifted. She is an arden fan of Shiseido. The 25ml size lasted me for about 3 weeks with daily use in the night. I believe that this may have since been replaced with the balancing softener.

This refining softener has a distinct floral scent with a slight hint of alcohol. I usually saturate a cotton pad with it and swipe it over the face. It has a lotion-like consistency which is slightly difficult to get it out from the tiny gap on the 25ml sample bottle.

It works well on my skin without any breakouts but I don't see any significant brightening effect. It does feel comfortable on the skin without any greasiness or tightness.

You can check out the list of ingredients here. According to Beautypedia, the amount of alcohol poses a slight risk of irritation and likely counteracts the anti-irritant properties of the licorice extract. The inclusion of St. John’s wort (Hypericum Perforatum)  means this toner should never be applied to skin that’s about to be exposed to sunlight.

Review : Shiseido Tsubaki Water (Shining)

    Product Description
Tsubaki "Water" is a leave-in spray moisturizer/conditioner that will not only get rid of tangles, but will also add a beautiful shine to your hair with daily usage.
This leave-in hair mist is perfect for normal to dry, color treated or damaged hair. The convenient spray bottle makes it easy to apply a quick morning-fix hair treatment, or anytime during the day for extra moisture. Great for split-ends, color treated, sun damaged or permed hair.

    Features:
    • Daily care for all kinds of hair, including damaged, permed or color-treated hair.
    • Improves hair manageability, eliminating tangles while providing deep nourishment.
    • Contains Camellia oil EX to repair damage hair, and Camellia leaf essence to give shine.
    • Also contains Hyaluronic Acid derivative to lock in moisture from roots to tips - great for split ends!
    • Non-greasy formula. It protects against harmful UV-rays.

I picked up the travel set kit, consisting of its shampoo, conditioner and this leave-in spray in Japan sometime back. I like everything about this Tsubaki Water, from its packaging right down to its performance.

It is housed in an attractive red aerosol-like bottle, with a good nozzle spray that dispenses powerful spritz without needing much force. I like the grip of the portable size bottle as well as the sturdy nozzle spray. I used it every morning to wet my hair, before applying the styling spray for the curls.

It moisturises the hair, leaving it soft, smooth and smelling nice. My hair is much manageable, with less tangled knots.

    Ingredients :
hydroxyethyl uera, lactic acid, propyltrimonium chloride acrylamide / dimethylacrylamkide copolymer, sodium acetylated hyaluronate, camellia reticulata seed oil, rosa roxburghi fruit extract, sorbitol, PPG-13 decyltetradeceth-24, PPG-20 decyltetradeceth-10, ethylhexylmethoxycinnamate, isopropyl alchohol, EDTA-2Na, butyl methoxydibenziylmethane, ammonium lactate, BG, tocopherol, BHT, citric acid, phenoxyethanol, fragrance.

    April Quick Review

    1) Chanel Light Revealing Whitening Makeup Base SPF35/ PA+++

    Product Description
The fine pearl is the model of perfection and translucency that inspired the creation of the LE BLANC ritual.
The fresh and lightweight emulsion texture of the Bases is an ideal first layer for makeup and leaves the skin comfortable all day long. Combining light and color expertise, CHANEL recreates its must-have Bases. In their formula, the Pure White Mineral Ceramic Pigments target unbalanced skin undertones to reveal an immaculate radiance and a unified complexion.
Day after day, the Liquorice Extract regulates melanin production. The Pearl Protein Extract corrects dull and yellow-toned skins, illuminates and is known for its hydration property. The complexion is ready for a perfect application of LE BLANC foundations. An SPF 35 / PA +++ protects the skin from the damaging effects of the sun.

The sachet I owned, allowed me to use it for 4 times, 2 of which I cleansed it off immediately because it exacerbate the flakiness on my face badly. That said, I was having a bout of seborrheic dermatitis on an on-off basis during that period. It was considered at its healing stage when I used this base, howver, this make-up base accentuates all the flakiness. I cleansed it off and top up with a heavier moisturiser and everything appears fine.

There are 3 shades available in the market and 1 tube costs $81.
-The Rosée shade refreshes tired and dull complexions with a radiant dream glow.
-The Mimosa shade unifies uneven and shadowy complexions.
-The Lys shade brings an immaculate pearly glow to all complexions.

The Rosee shade that I owned, has a runny consistency with a slight greasy base. Touted to be oil-free and hydrating, I didn't really find it that moisturising on my skin. It brightens the skin slightly, giving me a soft dewy look. I looked fresher and more radiant!

    2) Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Cleansing Foam

    Product Description
A gentle purifying foam that effectively lifts away impurities and surface cells to help reduce melanin buildup and leave skin clean and bright. Gently prepare skin for the clarifying process and leaves it smooth, comfortable and hydrated

I used this 30ml product for 2 times only, thats why I categorized it into this Quick Review page. I don't like the super clean, squeaky feel on the hands, immediately after each wash. Its drying and very uncomfortable. However, I am surprised that my skin was fine, there was no tight feeling, redness or dry after-effects, which are what I usually experienced with cleansing foams.

Still, I rather be careful and refrain from using it much. It has a floral scent and has a mousse-like soft texture, that is pleasant to spread on the face as it lathers into a rich foam.

It scored 3.9 from 117 reviewers from Makeupalley

    3)  Review : Beauty Credit Brown Rice Mask

    Product Description
Washable mask made from natural germinated brown rice extracts, a popular skincare ingredient known to many Asian cultures. It is believed to contain many health benefits.

    Benefits:
Germinated Brown Rice Mask Pack is a nourishingly good exfoliator for rough, dull skin conditions.
It brings vibrancy and elasticity back to your skin. Contains anti-oxidants that slow skin aging.
Restores elasticity while allowing ingredients to better penetrate the skin. Leaves your skin radiant and smooth, all day long!

A sachet I owned has given me 3 usages but thats because I spread it too generously during my first usage. I thought it was meant to be a mask as what the name implies, so I spread it all over the face.
It leave my skin smooth and soft but thats also in conjunction with the Clarins scrub I was using prior to that. However the smoothness did not last beyond a day.

Since it is meant as a exfoliator, I decided to use it on its own, as a scrub by massaging it into the skin and as amask by leaving it on the skin for a while before cleansing it off.
My skin felt and looked cleaner and brighter but again, the effects did not last beyond a day. Totally disappointed.
This product is off-white in colour and lightly scented. It is a mild exfoliater as it is quite creamy with tiny bits in it, which reminded me of rice.

Review : Shiseido Intensive Spot Correcting Serum Plus

    Product Description
A superior anti-spot serum with an intensified power formulation exclusively created to diminish stubborn dark spots. Shiseido-exclusive Melano Sensor System++ now targets troubling spots by crushing melanin* at its core and stopping the vicious cycle of dark-spot formation.** Persistent spots are reduced and future pigmentation is prevented, to even out skin tone for perfectly radiant skin.

    Key Ingredients :
m-Tranexamic Acid : targets persistent spots where over-active melanocytes continuously produce excess melanin.
4MSK : diminish the activity of the enzyme tyrosinase to reduce melanin production
Vitamin C : reduce melanin produced from pre-melanin DHICA.
MelanoCRUSH energizer : targets trouble spot / stubborn spots and crushes melanin .

After filling in an online survey form, I received a complimentary 2ml tube which lasts for more than 3 weeks. I used it on spots for the first 2 weeks before using it all over the face a couple of times, and thats how I finished up the whole tube.

It has the typical lovely floral scent found in Shiseido products. The lightweight texture is runny ( lotion-like) and gets absorbed into the skin easily. The SA told me that I could even use it on my undereye area to alleviate my dark circles.

However, I use it on my face only. It claimed to be able to banish dark spots within 10days but I only see a very subtle difference in my 3rd week of usage. My dark spots seemed to be slightly lighter and dispersed, rather than a dark cluster. That said, I have to confess that I am also using a whitening lotion from Naruko which I would be reviewing soon.
    It retails for $159.
