I purchased &Habit Black Tea Kombucha Mask during Sasa closing down sale last year although it was just on 20% discount then. Kombucha as an ingredient draws me in as its been said that Kombucha, also known as fermented black tea, not only detoxifies, but also hydrates the skin as it improves skin elasticity. Kombucha also improves skin tone, texture and clarity as it brightens the skin as well as combating the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
It vaguely reminded me of the widely popular Sabrino Morning Face Mask which is a 3-in-1 mask.
Packaging, Scent and Texture
&Habit Black Tea Kombucha Mask comes in both 7 piece and 32 piece resealable pack and I purchased mine in the 7 piece pack. All the 7 pieces of sheet masks are folded and stacked upon each other in the resealable packaging, where you can pull one out and seal back the packaging again.
Each sheet mask has a subtle fragrance with a whiff of alcohol scent. The thick and sturdy material is moist and has a small cutting and size which you can pull lightly to stretch to fit to the size of your face. The nose flap was slightly shorter though.
How To Use :
1) With clean hands, take a sheet mask out of the packaging
2) Take the mask and apply to the face from the centre of your face. The sheet mask can be stretched to fit the size of your face.
3) Leave on for 1 minute.
4) Remove the mask and fold the sheet into the size of a cotton pad. Gently swipe across face to remove any impurities.
Performance and Ingredients
&Habit Black Tea Kombucha Mask is a 6-in-1 mask which replaces face wash, boosting serum, essence, milk, essence and cream and you only need to layer it for 1 minute on your face and then you are done! No rinsing is required.
The sheet mask is said to provide moisturizing and firming benefits for refined, supple and luminous skin and indeed it does. I like using this in the morning during work-from-home days and on lazy days lounging at home where I skipped my skincare routine and just use this mask alone.
Although it certainly felt strange without using any cleanser but its just a matter of habit and preference. I usually layer the sheet mask for 3 minutes ( even though the recommended timeframe is 1 minute ), remove it and swipe across the face before binning it. Viola, skin looked fresher and less tired, even though my skin is not hydrated or drying.
I prefer to use this in the morning and then followed up with my usual night routine in the evening. It is not something I would stick to, on a permanent basis but just on days when I am lazy to do my skincare routine.
With 7 sheet masks in a resealable packaging, it is travel-friendly as well as being eco-friendly as you produces less waste along the way, however, using only 1 minute for each mask felt wasteful to me, although you save from not using 6 products. It depends on which angle which you looked at it.
In terms of ingredients, &Habit Black Tea Kombucha Mask contains different beauty ingredients, including kombucha serum and organic moisturizing ingredients like cucumber fruit extract, bilberry leaf extract as well as 7 kinds of fruit beauty extracts like hawthorn extract, nutmeg fruit extract, grapefruit fruit extract, apple fruit extract, orange juice, lemon juice and lime juice.
Kombucha Serum : Extracted from fermented tea, Kombucha ( also known as "miracle tea from Japan" ) is highly moisturising, firms and evens skin texture while helping to improve skin problems.

To conclude, &Habit Black Tea Kombucha Mask is a 6-in-1 mask which is great for the busy mother and women, work-from-home days, lazy-for-skincare days and days when you are just lounging at home with no plans as you can just skip your skincare routine entirely.
Love the fresh and less tired look and no one can guess you just skip your skincare! Isn't that wonderful? However, such 1 minute mask won't be a permanent fixture in my skincare arsenal as I still believe in having a solid skincare routine in my goal to aging gracefully.
