Packaging, Scent and Texture

TagSkin 裸光面膜 comes in individual clear sheet mask packaging where you can see the folded mask and essence very clearly. However, because of its clear and transparent packaging against the white protective mask covering, it makes reading the description, instructions and deciphering the ingredient list pretty difficult.
An easy way out is to remove the mask to make reading them on the back packaging much easier! Nonetheless, it seems that such clear packaging is pretty on-trend as Huxley also carries such packaging too.

The firming mask has a minty scent with a subtle cooling sensation that reminds me of a mixture of eucalyptus and menthol notes which is calming and soothing. Made of 100% natural silk, the sheet mask is very thin and sheer to provide a good adherence to skin.
Being new to the brand, I am glad that the Bare Gloss Firming Mask certainly did not disappoint. Containing 95% natural ingredients and 10% organic ingredients, this mask does not contain chemical, artificial preservatives, artificial fragrance and pigment.
Due to its 100% natural silk material, the texture of the sheet mask is very thin and sheer at 0.1mm yet its sturdy enough not to tear and able to carry 25 times the volume essence.

It hugs the contour of the face snugly like second skin with perfect cutting that fits my cherubic face shape. With daily use and keeping to a 15 minute masking session, my skin was softer, smoother and looked slightly brighter and less tired.
Initially, there was a taut sensation on the upper lips after a 20 minute masking session, thereafter I shortened the duration to 15 minutes for subsequent usages and it was fine.
In terms of ingredients, it contains the following
Waltheria Indica Leaf Extract : Smooth and brighten skin.
Hyaluronic Acid : A humectant, which draws moisture from their surroundings, it has the ability to help boost hydration for all skin types, which is especially beneficial for dry, dehydrated skin.

Chondrus Crispus Extract : Also known as red algae which is a type of seaweed that contains natural polysaccharides, peptides and amino acids to help skin stay hydrated while its pigment beta-carotene and potent antioxidants such as zeaxanthin and lutein help protect skin from the visible effects of blue light exposure.
Crithmum Maritinum Extract : Commonly known as Sea Fennel Extract, it is said to promote anti-aging and overall strength and luster of the skin. It helps to prevent skin inflammation and excessive oil secretion as well as improving dryness and peeling.
Fullerene C60 : Contains antioxidant properties and highly effective at neutralizing the free radicals which can damage the skin from exposure to sunlight, air pollution and stress. It helps to brighten up skin and reduce lines and dullness.
Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 : Also known as Argireline (肉毒桿菌模擬因子), commonly referred to as “Botox in a jar”, it helps stimulate collagen which strengthens the skin’s structure, decreases aging wrinkles and effectively enhances firmness and elasticity.
Leontopodium Alpinum Extract : Also known as Edelweiss, it has strong self-repairing ability, which can help the skin regenerates, brightens and targets skin cells to improve their response to stressors from the environment. According to a research study, demonstration has shown that it is a strong antioxidant and with constant application, it is beneficial for wrinkles and skin elasticity improvement.
